From what i've heard the only reason the cutscenes are a bit over the top in twin snakes is cause Kojima himself said something along the lines of that he doesn't want to see the same exact cutscenes all over again, as it would defeat the purpose of remastering/remaking the game, and he also told the animators to just have fun with it. I don't know if this is fact though so take it with a grain of salt.
It sounds like he wanted them to leverage the more powerful hardware to try and tell the story in more meaningful ways (you know, like introducing good facial expressions and smaller details wherever possible and wherever it works best) and they only understood the part where he said "make the cutscenes different" lmfao
Snake thought he'd escaped the jungle when he left Zanzibar. Little did he suspect. (On a similar trail of thought - "Johnny & DARPA Chief" sounds like a great name for a Drum & Bass act)
Just a friendly reminder that Kojima (nor anyone else) never said Twin Snakes was how the original MGS was supposed to be but couldn't because of technical limitations or whatever. As you can see, he could've made the game as over the top as he wanted. Also good job. With the exception of the voice acting, this is a perfect representation of what the cutscenes in Twin Snakes feel like
"Experience Metal Gear Solid in the way it was always meant to be played." Kojima never said it but he made sure Twin Snakes was full of his (at the time) new ideas, otherwise the game would have been 1:1 like originally intended.
@@GeneFOX70 great and? What you just said means literally nothing. The point was Kojima never said this lie which you even admitted. Your quote isn't from him or anyone/anything that proves my statement otherwise. You have a cheap, made up selling point from a box that contradicts itself by saying "produced by Hideo Kojima" on the front but says he's director on the back.
It always made me laugh how Snake frigging teleports Batman-style next to the wall when Johnny pokes his head through the door.
DAD GUM THEY DONE DUN HIT THE PENAGON
BRUH PENIS MUSIC TO THIS SENTANCE MADE ME GO CRAZY
Sheeeeeeyit.
LYLE WAKE UP
They blew up the exact part of the pentagon that was working on trying to find out where the missing trillions of dollars went.

I can only imagine what goes in there when they pull up real footage with reference to actual history

When the heart attack hits
Snake could've just hide to the side, but he still climbs the walls, I find that very funny

@@Cdogglebeen seeing those lately I don't get it
he hid to the side in original game but in the remake they made him go to the top corner of the room for some reason????
Johnny should be careful. It looks like he almost gave that guy a heart attack.
A heart attack?! No...
A huge missed opportunity to end it with "Shut up in there, will ya!"

A friend once joked that Twin Snakes was just Raiden's VR training version of the Shadow Moses Incident, and I'm kind of mad at how well that works.
@@yoji0that's my personal head canon too lmao
@@yoji0 I heard someone say they think of TTS as Otacon telling the story to someone.
@@nightflyer777Both of these are great lol
I love how this somehow perfectly presents MGS, the funny mixed with world ending steaks
