I've been using these cases on my phone for a couple of days and these are my honest thoughts. I tell you about the cases and give you a close up, hands on experience.

Hey there! Just your friendly, neighborhood Caudabe support person here. Great video. We wanted to touch on one quick thing because we can see some slight misperceptions here in the comments.
Ahem ... so regarding the stiffness of this newest iteration of Sheath:
As you probably all know (or maybe you don't), we often times make minor modifications to our products throughout their life cycle. Sometimes these modifications are based on initial customer feedback. Sometimes it's because we just can't stop thinking about how to make our products better. Either way, it's not uncommon for us to make minor changes 5-6 months after the initial launch.
With Sheath this year, we introduced a much stiffer variant of the material than we've used in the past. The benefit of that stiffer material is that the case grips like a really, really tight glove. The downside though is that ... well, the fit is really, really tight. And so some of you told us that you weren't such huge fans of that. You loved the case, but wouldn't mind if we didn't use such a stiff material.
So, in recent batches of Sheath - including Eucalyptus - we've reverted to the tried and true material we've always used in years past. It's not that the sides aren't stiff, they're just not as stiff as the earliest batches. They're the exact same as Sheath for the iPhone 14 series, which everyone knows and loves. And regarding drop protection, there's literally no difference between the prior material and the current one.
The benefit of reverting back to our usual material is that you'll notice that the buttons are noticeably more tactile. They were fine with the stiffer material, but now they're nothing short of amazing (if we may say so ourselves). So, it's a win-win in our book.
TLDR: we launched Sheath for the iPhone 15 last year using a different, stiffer material than what we typically use. Some people didn't like it. We made modifications. The newest batches of Sheath have reverted back to the same great material from years past. The case still fits great and now the buttons are heavenly.

I preferred the stiffer design! buttons would break in over time - but I loved that it would fit the iPhone like a glove! Wish there wasnt a way to compromise buttons for fit!

@@redeffekt we hear you! But, just to clarify: the fit isn't really "compromised" - it's the exact same as the 14 and 13 series, which as you know people have loved. The fit is still tight and precise. Now it's just easier to install and remove. And the button tactility is noticeably better right out of the box. Even after a break-in period for early batches of the 15 series Sheath, the button tactility on the most recent batches is better. This is especially the case for the action button.

Just bought sheath with grey colour and these green came out😭 but maybe it doesn’t match with my titanium blue ip. But i really love that green sheath🤩
@@williamsusanto8752 I also ordered the gray days ago and it was just delivered today. Then this color was released and I saw it immediately after opening my gray. I was looking for a dark green colored case to begin with so I think I’m gonna send the gray back and keep this one. (I just ordered it an hour ago)

It sounds like the buttons on the eucalyptus are like the buttons on my Garnet sheath and it's a major improvement. I have an original blue sheath that the buttons are fairly stiff and have never worked in so I didn't use it. I also have a blue OG synthesis That if the buttons were better like the new sheath, I would use it, but I don't because the buttons are so stiff and I just absolutely hate them.
Need everyone’s opinion on choosing a color for my Sheath on the Natural Titanium iPhone. I’m between the gray and eucalyptus colorway.
Both are great options. Gray would be closest to the color, but this eucalyptus would be a very nice complement to it

I wish they made the iPhone Synthesis camera ring design more similar to the S24U camera design. Not necessarily the individual cutouts, just the fading design. The asymmetry on the iPhone design is what keeps me from getting it 🤷♂️ Also standalone buttons like the S24U would knock it out the park.
I believe next iPhone will have standalone buttons on their cases

@@Brians_tech Yeah, so nice. Shame I think they can't ship to Brazil, I bought 2 Synthesis earlier this year, and they never arrived and got back to them, probably due to customs here😵💫
I'm super disappointed with caudabe. Have had two cases sheath and both have gotten raised backs so the magsafe is petruding out and made a huge dent onto the back of the phone.
Haven't done anything but both have the same issue.
An expensive case and with shipping to sweden they are really expensive. Not gonna purchase a case from them again.
When did you purchase it? My eucalyptus one hasn’t gotten that and I’ve been using it a good bit.
Does the new Synthesis still have that cheap hard plasticy feel? That was a deal breaker for me.
It feels basically the same as the regular synthesis.
Oh okay, I thought you (or someone else) said it was slightly softer. If so, is it noticeable though?
I think their QC and consistency isn’t that great. I got 2 sheaths where the sides were warped and caved in and the material felt very flimsy compared to older ones. I think the buttons and sides just depends on what you get whether you get a good one or not. They did exchange it tho. However they make you buy another one, then when they get the old one back they refund you

@@BradleyMorrisYT Sorry if we caused you any trouble in the past! We should've mentioned in our prior response that we recently revamped our exchange process to address the point you mentioned. We do agree that the old process was a little odd, but it was due to limitations on our system for processing exchanges. Those limitations were recently resolved, so the exchange process now is much smoother. We appreciate the input!
Hey Brian is the eucalyptus synthesis softer than the other version? You said they have the same rigidity.
It’s a tiny bit softer, but not by much. It’s more noticeable with the sheath

They need a bright red color
They have a garnet color for the sheath because I have it. I have found it with my Garnet sheath. The buttons are so much easier to use than my blue one that I bought when the 15 Pro Max first came out. I also have a blue synthesis that I absolutely hate because the buttons are so stiff. If the buttons were as easy to use as they are my garnet sheath, I would really use the synthesis more because it's a very rigid case and I compared it to my sisters OtterBox symmetry in blue and it's night and day difference over the OtterBox just the buttons are terribly stiff.
@@linhunnicutt6556 yeah not a fan of the garnet red. Want something a bit brighter and bolder. I like both the synthesis and sheath just not the color options
