Victoria puts a dagger on Suleiman's throat and gets so close getting her husband's revenge.
Hürrem and Leo have a close brush with death because of the poisonous Turkish delights İbrahim gave them. Will Hürrem and Leo be able to get out of İbrahim's palace alive?
Sultan Suleiman learns that Victoria is the assassin that Lajos sent there. He will ask for an explanation from İbrahim who's taken Victoria to harem his own. Meanwhile Matrakçı waits İbrahim Pasha to bring Sadıka to marry with him without knowing anything. Sultan Suleiman finds out Matrakçı is the person who has brought Victoria to İbrahim Pasha.
Sultan Suleiman is determined to punish Lajos immediately who has dared to kill him. He gathers the council and declares his decision to have campaign to Buda.
Hürrem hates İbrahim even more now. She blames Nigar to betray her who get involved in İbrahim's evil plans. Nigar loses Hürrem's trust. Will Nigar, who doesn't have someone to protect her after Hürrem in palace, be able to make Hürrem to forgive her?
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

The most painful part is when matrakci throwes victoria in the bosphorus. Victoria accepted her fate, she knows since the beginning that she will die no matter if she succeed or fail her mission, she was loyal to her husband even if he's dead.

With Hurrem under such duress and grief due to Leos death, no wonder Bayezid was such a little firecracker and full of rage. I bet Hurrem felt nothing but vengeance towards Ibrahim during her entire pregnancy with Bayezid. I wouldn't be surprised if he exited the womb hating Ibrahim. LOL.

In Vatanim Sensin whenever I see Lucy (Victoria here), Mr Charles Hamilton (Ibrahim) and Miralay Cevdet (Sultan Suleiman Han) I am reminded of this sequence and despite Leo’s and Victoria’s ends, I cannot help but smile! Indeed, the first time Cevdet crosses paths with Hamilton there’s a wondering look: Didn’t I have him executed four hundred years ago? 😅

I really like that moment when Mahidevran decided to keep Gulsah after she confessed that her only happiness was being by her side. I feel like Mahidevran saw her own deep love for Suleyman and desire to only remain by his side mirrored back to her in Gulsah's confession. So thats why she ultimately couldn't turn her away even though she was angry and didn't want to forgive her. Gulsah managed to say the one thing to keep Mahidevran from sending her to be married off. It's also one of the few moments I feel genuine pity for both of them.

The fact that Mahidevran doesn't care about the dangers Mustafa will face if he goes on campaign with Sultan Suleiman as long as he is "wining" over Hürrem 's kids tell you the type of mother she is. Hurrem herself seems more worry than she is about her own son.
