ABSOLUTE LEGEND, sir I don't know you personally but I just saw the physics video you made yesterday and it was the exact same thing I did today for the amali sains. Tomorrow is chemistry and I am here watching this video. Please if possible do one for Biology, people are saying it's going to be F4 chapter 9.6 experiment: "Studying the energy value of food samples." Thank you for the amazing work you have done for us students. Hope you have a wonderful day!
Hi, it is my pleasure as a teacher to help all of you do well in exams! I really hope this comes out for Chemistry too, but make sure you're prepared for anything. I will definitely doing a Bio video tomorrow.
@@MrRuelTuitionSir i got the same exact tips , for physics as from your video, this chemistry video and food test for biology...im really glad i found your channel
U were spot on with the physics exam just finished it jn
I'm very happy to know that! I hope it was doable.
the exact thing came out for physic - happy that you explained and stated the points clearly ! thank you sir!
I'm really glad the same thing came out, but don't expect the same to come out for Chem and Bio yea. Be prepared for anything. Stay come it If doesn't come out. If the same thing comes out, hurrah!
In what situation would the graph in question be straight or curved? Im assuming it will be curved for 1/time on the x-axis but my teacher says otherwise for some reason
It depends on what factor is chosen. If it is 1/time, yes it should be a curve. If it is rate of reaction against time and the factor is conc., then it will be directly proportional.
Teacher for 1/time is it ok if I only give 2 decimal places ?
Hi sir, for the hypothesis can we write
Higher the temperatue of hydrochloric acid, the higher the rate of reaction.
Can we put rate of reaction for RV as well sir?
Thanks for your physics and chem video sir. Really helpful for me. Waiting for your bio video as well😅
Yes can. Shouldn't be a problem.
You're most welcome. All the best! I'll definitely be putting up the Bio video tmrw. I hope Chemistry goes well too.
@@MrRuelTuitionsir what if for physics I wrote "the greater the electric current, the greater the potential difference" as a hypothesis? Will that be accepted 😅
Thanks for the gentle reminders in the video. Will you be doing another video for biology?
Yes definitely. It will be up around the same time tomorrow.
Hello sir, thank you for provide us with this quick revision, the previous UAS physics video really helps me a lot. Looking forward for biology tomorrow. :D
You're most welcome. I will definitely be doing Bio tomorrow. All the best!
Such a livesafer!!!
2 more to go! 🔥🔥🔥
sir, what would be the rate of reaction if the hcl is sub with H2so4 and the inferens sir. and do make reviews for state trial papers . thanks a lot for physics
You're most welcome.
The rate of reaction will be doubled.
Sulphuric acid is a diprotic acid while hydrochloric acid is a monoprotic acid. The concentration of hydrogen ions will be doubled.
@@MrRuelTuitionwould the volume of H2 be doubled as well
Assuming that the acid is in excess and the same length of magnesium ribbon is used, the answer is no. Because the limiting factor is the moles of magnesium reacted. The moles of magnesium reacted would be the same in both situations. Only the rate of reaction will be doubled.
What to answer if it ask to predict the rate of reaction when magnesium strip is replaced with zinc
The rate of reaction will decrease. Zinc is less reactive than magnesium.
sir, thank you so much for the video… in the procedure, do we have to state that we have to clean the magnesium ribbon with sandpaper as one of the steps?
If sandpaper is provided as material, then yes. But if not no need. You can use for precautionary steps if asked.
Hello sir, the responsing variable could be rate of reaction also right?
It shouldn't be a problem, but I will personally make this my second choice.
i think it's this one - my teachers and tuitions also confirm this ! also, i hope you would focus on Food Technology and Calorie counting using peanuts and bread (for bio)
I will definitely be doing Bio vid tmr. All the best!
sir what to answer if the question asked like this...Predict the rate of reaction if hydrochloric acid is replaced by ethanoic acid in this
experiment.
The rate of reaction will decrease. Ethanoic acid is a weak acid. It dissociates partially in water to produce a low concentration of hydrogen ions. Hydrochloric acid is a strong acid that dissociates in water to form a high concentration of hydrogen ions.
thank u sir
@@MrRuelTuition
Sir, for the fixed variable I can write either "length of magnesium ribbon" or "volume and concentration of hydrochloric acid" right?
If you can remember, and it is the exact same experiment, then write both.
Sir operational defination if i put
The time taken for the magnesium ribbon to dissolve completely in X mol dm3 of hydrochloric acid in different temperature .
Can ?
You should add "when magnesium ribbon is added to X mol dm3 of....". The "what is done" part is missing.
@@MrRuelTuitionthank you sir
Sir how to plot the graph
It should be a smooth curve. It should not pass through the origin because rate of reaction will not be zero at 0 degree celcius.
Hi sir, may I ask on how to tabulate the data for this experiment?
Temperature of Hydrochloric acid(。c) || Time take for magnesium ribbon to completely dissolve in hydrochloric acid (s) || 1/time(s-1)
normally tubulation of data for this experiment have three rows, but depends on the question whether you are asked to do additional calculation for any other things.Hope this helps
woww very smart shinoku
@@khooray7486Thank you so much!
Yes, this is exactly right!
Is it unguided experiment
Thank you so much sir for Chemistry, your physics ramalan was spot on and I hope you have a great day sir
You're most welcome. I'm glad it came out. I hope this one does too. All the best! 💪💪
thank you for your video sir.. very useful and hope can do well tomorrow
You're most welcome. I hope so too! All the best 🔥
sir, don't need to write clean the magnesium ribbon with sand paper in the procedure?
It depends whether they give you a sandpaper in the list of materials. If they do, you can include it in the steps. If they don't, they would have already cleaned it for you.
sir lets say i want to test out rate of reaction with 40 celcius of HCl acid , and i accidentally overheat the acid and got 44 celcius , is it fine if i use 44 celcius to test ? or do i wait for it to cool down until it goes to 40C
If you are required to heat for 50 degree too, just proceed to that temperature first, after that you can do back again for 40 degree
Technically you wouldn't be wrong, but I'm not confident that they would definitely mark you right in SPM. So, to be safe, cool down to 40 first
okay thanks sir , i guess if it exceeds a bit i think we should just lie about it @@MrRuelTuition
Hi sir can i write "Rate Of Reaction" as my RV?
It should not be a problem, but I would personally stick with the experimental outcome as the RV.
Sir, i have a question. Do i have to write all 3 answers for the constant variable? and thank you for the physics ystd. was very helpful
I'm really glad it was helpful. If this exact question comes out, then yes, you should give all of them.
@@MrRuelTuition Alright, understood teacher. thank you very much
Sir is there any precautionary step for the experiment?
You can use:
- Clean the magnesium ribbon using a sandpaper
- Wear gloves to prevent acid spill on hands
@@MrRuelTuition Thank you sir
Hi sir,
Is it a must to include all the apparatus in the procedure?
Tq
It is better to include it, if you are sure, to be safe.
Okay sir thank you @@MrRuelTuition
hai mul
hi is jump scale allowed in chemistry?
Yes i think so, just asked my teacher.
@@wanderertxt thanks
Sir, we shouldnt heat up the acid directly right?..
You can heat up the acid directly no problem. You cannot heat up flammable substances directly, such as alcohol and hydrocarbons.
@@MrRuelTuition ok,thank you so much sir 😄👍
Hi sir, do we need to take 5 different temperatures or is 3 enough?
Unfortunately, I don't have enough data to give you a proper answer. I'm not sure anyone does - if anyone does, please share with the rest of us. I would hope that there is some kind of clue on how many readings are required in the question itself.
@@MrRuelTuition if only 3 beakers given, still 5 different temperature?
Sir is the procedure should be in past tense or present tense
Follow the tense I have used in the example. That's usually how it is.
Okay tq sir
thanks a lot sir
You're welcome. All the best! 🔥🔥
Thanks la cher!
All the best for tmr! 🔥🔥
thank you sir ❤
You're most welcome. All the best!
Is there any percautions that should be taken in this experiment?
Not anything in particular.
But since you're using acid, you can say "use gloves to prevent acid splash on skin".
Also depends on whether you're waiting for the magnesium ribbon to be completely dissolved. If you are, you can say "ensure magnesium ribbon is completely dissolved before stopping stopwatch."
@@MrRuelTuition Understood. Thank you sir!
Oh one of the comments reminded me, you can also say "Clean the surface of the magnesium with a sandpaper before using it."
@@MrRuelTuition
Thank you so much! It really helps me a lot!
I would like to ask the graph for temperature vs 1/time and 1/time vs temperature, both situations will give us a curve graph?
And is it possible to plot the graph for temperature vs time? How will the graph looks like?
Sir do we need to draw graph?
For this topic it's definitely possible. Please be prepared to draw graph.
Thank you sir
Thank you so much sir
You're most welcome 😊
thank you for this sir , its really helpful and relaxed , easy to understand too !
You're most welcome. All the best to you!
thank you sir !@@MrRuelTuition
