    What a beautiful day to ride a motorcycle. Plus the beautiful Panther with the sidecar.
    My father rode a BSA M21 motorcycle with sidecar in the 60s to mid 70s. I was 7 years old when it was suddenly gone. Today I ride a modern motorcycle with sidecar. Gladly would have but to decelerate rather such a sidecar. A Panther M120 would be something fine.
    Thank you for the beautiful films. Maybe I will also find such a team. Have a good trip.

    Another delightful video devoid of monotonous background music, just the sweet sound of the purring engine. Interesting narrative.......thank you so much

    In the mid 60s I made use of the rule about having a sidecar or side box (remember the old Ariel square 4 AA repair box bikes) before passing a full bike licence, the Panther being a great example.

    I have been enjoying your videos enormously. Thank you for uploading them. Is then Panther OK with unleaded fuel or is an additive required?

    • @PantherOwnersClub1
      @PantherOwnersClub1  2 года назад +1

      Thank you Phil. I plan to release a new video next month. No I have never used fuel additives or magic beans in my tank. When unleaded petrol was first at the pumps there was much talk of valve-seat recession so I checked tappet clearances frequently to see if they reduced. There was no measurable change.

    Thanks for the very nice ride. I love the sound of your bike and the scenery. How fast are you cruising when on open road highway? Thanks.

    • @PantherOwnersClub1
      @PantherOwnersClub1  2 года назад +1

      Around fifty mph, which is not quite fast enough to stop speed restricted lorries breathing down our neck. The outfit is more enjoyable when ridden on minor roads.

    I liked this trip. My father used to have a Panther, we used to go on holiday a lot in it. That navigation device is good, where did you get it. I have a Jawa 350 out fit by the way.

      Brian Mundy I reckon the jawa350 and chair is an overlooked treat, I’ve had a Xj600s diversion with a wooden bodied steib style, now on my 650 Bandit. I’m pleased with how well the 650 has taken to the chair, 1250 might be a better bet in terms of economy but it’s what I had at hand!

    was that a rickman ranger as you pulled out of the garage? - I built a GTM many years ago...a brief foray into car building, but gave it up after a hard 2.5 years building it and stuck with bikes since.

      Full marks Stephen. Exceptional build quality like all Rickman products with the advantage of a heater for winter use. I still prefer a bike in the summer.
