Well, I’ve finally made it: The person who subscribes and hits ‘notify me’ just to dislike. This is a real milestone: Firstly I would like to thank my family, Basil, Ada, and the other animals who support me. Also big shoutout to Bronson from Round the Twist for keeping me focused on my dreams. Up the pong, mate, up the pong!
American viewer here... ~34:00 you nailed it. The media is utterly deceptive and partisan and they wield immense power to shape public perception. Good job on your channel by the way! Lots of great information presented in a useful way👍
Also, I'd like to engage in a hearty seconding of "fuck the media". There is a role to play in exposing that which needs to be exposed, and as a counterbalance for secrecy, but for the most part they're just raking muck.
It's hard to judge America by the news. Right now, whatever you read in the news, the vast majority of Americans disagree. We're a pretty large, diverse country, with lots of different sub cultures and regions. In general, having done a fair bit of travel across our country and to others, the average American is not much different than anyone else. We all work hard, have kids, wives, husband's, love our families (most of them at least), love leisure time. Yes, our culture is very performance based, and emphasis on self reliance and being independent, but in my 29 years I have seen more often than not, friend, family, people you work with are willing to help each other our in times of need. If someone's wife is sick, and they're having trouble paying bills because she's out of work, they will typically be taken care of by people close to them. I won't say there's not a "piss on them, better you than me" attitude but that's the exception in my experience not the rule.
Regarding crooks picking cheap knives over more expensive ones...I had work done at my house and one of the contractor's employees stole one of my knives. I could see many of them had been handled. The crook chose the CRKT M16 Special Forces Edition over the Cold Steel AD10 and other more expensive knives which were kept in the same cupboard... so yeah, just make sure you have the most tactical looking cheap knife next to the ones you love.
Pete: “It should be an offense to distribute something that is a lie”, in response to the media and government. It could help to solve the world’s problems. So true!!

As an American, I take no offense and was nodding along the entire time you were discussing life here. You pretty much nailed it, and Australia has looked rather nice. Side note: I knew about the gun laws there, but didn’t realize you can’t open carry a pocket knife. I hope that changes for you in the future. Best wishes to you and the family.
hey guys, i just started watching today, this is a great channel!! im a huge fan of Frankie and the Bird and Nick Shabazz. My question is about snakes and spiders in Australia how do U guys react when u see somthing venomous, i would freak out!! i hate snakes an spider in general but it gets really cold here in the winter in Ohio USA so theres hardly any snakes but we do have Black Widows but there rare but its seems like in Australia u cant go any where with out seeing a nasty snake or spider

I'm sitting here playing with my Delica while watching your video. I feel it's a gateway knife. i was prepared to hate the Spyderco knives (hate how they look and love my flippers), but I fell in love with the Delica as soon as I opened it.
Good video. Some irrelevant feedback: - Agree on micarta. It's an underutilized handle material. - The answer to the pet food question is to taste it. - How dare you say you wouldn't move to the U.S.!! (Yes, that's exaggerated false outrage.) I pay close to 40% taxes when I add up the what I pay to the U.S. federal government and my state government. I have to believe that we could give people health care. (To be clear, I have health care - too many people in the U.S. have no health care or inadequate health care.)
You all are the best! If I had to describe you both in two words: Too Human. Love your Natural Personalities, can definitely detect the high intelligence and great sense of humors. Spot on about the Fake News, Fake Governments, etc.... they need to be held responsible for Truth. USA is great but we do have our bundle of crazies. There are bunches of good caring people too, but you will never know that from the news (all liberal communists that paint bad vibes). For the record, if anyone hates on you guys the have to be pure evil. You try to be as unbiased as humanly possible and that is appreciated by dynamic free thinkers like myself (not bragging, hurts just to have to point it out ;-) . Much Luv from a WEAPONS fan. My personal favorite knife company is Cold Steel. Thanks for asking why and I will tell you. Honestly, I always end up using a folding knife for other tasks than it is made for, like prying, stabbing, throwing, putting in floors, fixing everything around the house, flicking it open to hear that shotgun knife sound (that completely annoys my wife), ruff & tuff abuse (just for fun), so to protect myself I only trust the Triad Lock. I have had close calls on failing knife locks. My favorite carry is the Cold Steel 4-Max (Italian version), then as follows the Cold Steel SR1, Tanto Recon, Mini Tuff Lite & Mini Lawman. I know what you are thinking, holy crap batman the 4-max, what are compensating for something..... Short answer YES! Also for bragging rights because it is the strongest folder available, it is the best make for the price ($259), it eats all other knife brands for breakfast (most import meal of the day, besides lunch & dinner & late night snacks). Peace Out Kids!
The US is enormous. Huge melting pot for different types culture. If you don’t like one way of life, you really can move to another place within the US and find what you like. The media and the “leftist” vs “rightist” really don’t affect our lives at all. The way we are portrayed in our own media is idiotic. Most people never deal with the crap we see on our own TVs. Good example, your wife says the same thing about your knife addiction as my wife says. I rather live here for the cheaper knife prices!
Thanks for sharing your experience with various blade materials. After doing quite a lot of reading and listening to reviews I picked up a Cold Steel master hunter in 3V,, so it was really nice to hear you also think this to be a good knife for the money. BTW My Kershaw onion in S30V has been a wonderful blade, not all that difficult to sharpen, and holds a pretty fine polished edge without chipping or rolling for the sort of things you end up using in EDC.
These are great videos (not unlike the rest or your channel). I also just got a spyderco police 4 on your recommendation. I’m enjoying the K390. Thanks again

Everything you really think about America is a slice you see in movies or media. John 3:16 KJV "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Basically saying that God loves you and wants you to be one of his children, but because of the sin man brought into the world there is a gap between us. John 3:16 is referring to the promise that God made in Genesis. To make a way for man to bridge that gap. That way could only be brought about by the willing sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. In the later part of the verse we see that the gap is bridged by man gaining eternal life. This is through their faith in Jesus Christ and the work he did on the cross, and accepting him as Lord and savior.

Mate, knife-loving/gun-toting Texan here. The media is seriously biased in its views towards America. The USA is great in most respects - I'd argue that it is the best place to live, feminism and "pussification" of the country aside.
Sorry for the the late view. On the US question yeah basically, if you aren’t from the US you just find your group of people that are likeminded and it’s f similar backgrounds, everyone is pretty friendly (depending on what part told the country you are in) but it’s pretyy much every family kinda for its self.
G10 is a high-pressure fiberglass laminate, a kind of composite material. It is created by stacking multiple layers of glass cloth, soaking in epoxy resin, and compressing the resulting material under heat until the epoxy cures. It is manufactured in flat sheets, most often a few millimeters thick
