There are millions of people living in US, more decades, working hard and paying taxes without any recognition and treated unfairly, I think is time for these immigrants to get their status, they already pay their price to stuck in US without going back to their country and able to come back, while there are others that apparently come legally and get all the benefits without contributing to the IS economy or even paying taxes

I don’t think the president would have any problems signing an executive order, but that doesn’t not guarantee anything permanent. An executive order could be challenged by another president etc. I guess he is looking to do something that would be more permanent, instead of creating a temporal relieve.

Exactly. Then do nothing. Just for midterm. After that you hear the rhetoric. Folks should just stay home in November. What's to happen happen. They take people for idiots. Immigrants paying into social security with their ITIN numbers from IRS but can't get any benefits from it. So they want to keep things that way. Use immigrants tax money to help fund their social security for their people and poor immigrants have nothing to get when they can no longer work. Usury.

It's simple. They introduced this for votes in November. It's a rather nice gesture, but it wreaks of desperation, and they're gonna have to do more. A substantial base of potential voters awaits them if they can process siblings in 7 months. Something they should have been doing for years now.

It’s sad that the democrats are trying to portray that they are doing something in this regard, especially since an election is on the horizon. So us citizens, who are aware of the terrible situations our undocumented brothers and sisters are facing, should go out and vote for them based off of false promises, no way, I’ll keep my vote unless I see something concrete that produces a result.

Many immigrants have already lose hope. Too much bills and proposals, but nothing done. Seems like America doesn’t need Hard working Immigrants, farm and essential workers. Daca and TPS holders who have been here for decades deserve a relief. This is a common sens reform needed.There are jobs but no workers out there to fill openings , and the economic is getting affected.Radical Hate driven politics is always a disaster.
So the bill has to still go to the house for them to fight over it? It's tiresome. We are tired of these stories
More than 7 years c visa can apply for amnesty too.
this proposal . would help a lot to the economy to the country . there is a HUGE shortage of workers . in every area but most in construction where I work . I can;t find workers .. very frustating

I am in the USA for three years now because of a accident I came in legal I will like to know if I'm qualified for a green card?
I feel this Amnesty should cover DACA too. After all, they isolated DACA and essential workers to be given first while forgetting others. They should have a proposal to cover everybody instead of breaking it up to favor a part and not the other.
This covers most of them , what you are asking will never happen! If they can't do anything for DACA you think they will do something for all? Please , either all or none is not the solution but the ones that have been here for decades deserve a chance !
