congratulations!!!! did you fill i130 with i485 concurrent? and after you i130 was approved, how long did it take for approved the green card??
@@nataliaossa8323 The two forms went in together, I received my card after 6 months from the day they approved I-130 and a week after they approved I-485

The situation is as follows:
A national of Ecuador came EWI to the US on or about January 6, 1997.
Placed into immigration proceedings with the Issuance of an Order to Show Cause, which was served to her on January 7, 1997. She was scheduled to appear for a hearing on March 24, 1997. She failed to appear and the IJ ordered her to be removed from the US in absentia. She remained in the US since her removal order.
She was given the option to appeal.
NOTES
Her mother became a US citizen.
She has a son born in the US on October 29, 2002

Hi , I am a marriage based greencard applicant , I have submitted in February and I didn’t get a biometrics date until July 18th of last month which was well over ( 100 ) days , does this mean I still have to wait an additional 90 days for an update for my work authorization, the current status is “currently being reviewed “ which is now 23 days .

Asking for your help. We're not yet married and have not physically come together because I have been in the hospital a few times due to bad health, I was unable to travel and wasn't in a position to accept company. We've been in constant communication to the mark of two years. When I was hospitalized he kept in close contact with me all the way through. You mentioned adjustment of status. SO, do you think the interview can be waived for CR1 cases? I applied July 2021. Document qualified June 9th, 2022. I asked for expedite based off financial hardship. Humanitarian. Keeps getting denied. I have evidence of pay stubs that shows decrease of income. I was in a car accident. Lost my car. No fault of my own. Back injury. I can't hardly clean or do anything much. I kind of want to transfer my case to you. I have an attorney. My attorney retired. I reached out to the acting attorney and i didn’t get response back. How much would it cost in this stage of my case?

You are not specifying the whole story of your case. There must be some hard issues why it is denied. For twenty three years of marriage, that is a solid case.if the marriage is valid and you have all evidences. You have no violations ypu shoud get it, and there there is no AWA issue. Hire a lawyer to fight for you.

Yes just short story. We did.
But unfortunately my marriage didn't work en end up in vawa. And my 1360 was approved just 2 weeks ago.
I wouldn't say it's expected but every experienced lawyer has their own take on what works. At the interview they will ask the questions Latoya mentions in the video.

What if you do not have any evidence?
This is something the agency is moving towards. If the documents, evidence, and other submitted items look valid, some interviews will be waived if the adjudicator believes the marriage is valid. If not, the file will be scheduled for a interview.
Makes sense, time and resources are limited, especially right now. I'm guessing they will mostly do this for conditional green cards because they do have the authority to interview during removal of conditions.
I think some people will be disappointed to not have an interview since it's talked about as part of our culture.

A lot greencards based on marriages are going to be interview waivers soon. You did not do anything special, just provided sufficient evidence.

Since you overstayed wait until he’s a citizen to file. If not, you will be denied. Overstaying is only forgiven if you marry a citizen
