One of my favorite childhood memories was when I was about 4 at my grandma's house playing with this thing. My parents were always fighting and I didn't have any friends so I would just stay at my grandma's by myself playing with StarWars toys. I can remember exactly how the slime smelled. God I really want to cry just remembering all of this lol
hahaha holy hell I am laughing so hard my stomach hurts. True story: I bought this when it was first released, brought it home and was messing w it, my girlfriend and I made dinner, ate and came back to my SW room and found her cat eating the slime. Of course she freaked out, we were worried if the cat would get sick, which led to jokes about slimy cat butt. Nothing happened, cat seemed fine. I come home from work the next day and find green cat ass squirts everywhere. Across the stove, the refridgerator door, going out of the kitchen to the living room carpet, up the wall (yes, up the wall in a big arc like 6 ft long) and back down, going up the bedroom door, across the front of our dresser, on our bed, another arc on the drapes, etc. etc. It was insane and all I could picture was how much the cat must have been freaking out to be literally tearing thru the apt, running up and on the walls, doors, dresser, drapes. haha I havent laughed that hard since until now. And it was the weirdest crap ever, it was like a thin film of slime green that just kind of flaked off the walls and everything when we cleaned it up. And yes, I left it as is until she got home so she could see it. Oh and it took me like ten minutes to find the cat hiding under the bed and freakin out. Girlfriend flipped again and rushed her to the vet. Cat was ok, and we laughed about it for weeks after. haha something you had to see to get the full effect. Sorry, but I just had to share that one. ooh wow, the cat must have been running at full cat speed to get that far up the wall (at least half way up) for that distance (at least six or eight feet down the hall). Okok Ill stop now. Too funny. Thanks for the memories. :)

This toy is based on a little known ROTJ deleted scene where Princess Leia originally tried killing the obscene obese one by poisoning his frogs with a banned Alderaanian Royal Hair Conditioner (this was also the in-universe explanation why she was never able to get her hair back in the New Hope Princess Doughnuts style, but I digress). Jabba chows down on the froggies and then moments later bars them up. He then proceeds to re consume them and the vomitous and 3PO explains this is a rare mating ritual among the Hutts and that Jabba is impressed by her obvious wish to please him and is more than a little turned on. The following scene DID answer the age old nerd question of whether or not Jabba got it on with the Princess but test audiences were so repulsed by the scene that Lucas removed it. It is said more people left the test screenings sickened than from early screenings of the Exorcist, curiously which also features a repulsive creature spewing forth green barf. Carrie Fisher later remarked that she hadn't thought twice about it since many women in Hollywood are forced to sleep with slugs and she thought it was Lucas' attempt at satire, and that the copious amounts of latex used on Jabba was symbolic of sex toys that women would be relegated to using for their sex life if they didn't get famous. In actual reality, this was my actual Jabba toy I used in dioramas too since the official figure was, as you stated, facing front and hard plastic whereas this toy had nearly real Jabba (prop) skin! Even when they released the stupid other Jabba that spit a frog head it was still the better looking toy. Sometimes Hasbro just didn't know when to stop. Still this thing was cheap and looked the business and was one of the best unintentional Jabba figures ever made! Great review of a nostalgic toy I forgot I had even owned! 🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠

This is still one of my favorite Jabba figures & can say I've had mine since it came out. Slime is long gone but kept the can and frogs.
Great review! love this Jabba and still have him on display.I used to mix the frogs inside the slime first, then ooze it out of his mouth, great times!

I got that guy dirt cheap at Toy Liquidators, and it was my main Jabba until the Walmart exclusive Jabba's Throne set came out. I'm still very fond of it.

So "Jabba Glob Play Gel" is now a phrase in my vocabulary. Didn't expect that, but there it is.
They shoulda called this one "Party Jabba" 'cause it's obviously his state after one of his big time "House Party" style parties.

That's a fun toy. I had one, as I like the Jabba sculpt. The only thing wrong, is that Tatooine is not Jabba's home planet - it's actually Nul Huttaa. Slugs don't live long in deserts. Jabba used Tatooine as a base, simply because it lies on the back end of nowhere, and he could operate without constant hassle from the authorities, be they Imperial, Rebel, or Corporate Sector Authority.
Add a few teaspoons of water, microwave it, mix it, let it cool, slime fixed.

The can should be upside down inside javba (according to the instructions) that way he oozes more easily.
I bought that because it would fit on the throne. the slime was a bonus
When Jabba eats to much frog...I always wanted a "Jabba Glob"! To create that scene unsen in the Return of the Jedi, after he moved his tongue in front of slaved leia and Salacious crumb laughs, turning his head in the other direction... Jabba could vomit all this stuff on slave Leia figure...Cool uh?

Looks fairly good all things considered, let me put it this way I recently found the old container of Jabba's goo at my grandma's house and it was... pretty nasty looking.

I opted not to do it anymore since the annotations feature doesn't work on mobile or tv. More than 80% of my viewers are watching on mobile or tv, so it doesn't work for most people watching.
***** Ah, that makes sense. Bit of a shame though, I really enjoyed that part of your countdowns. But I understand, just not enough people like me who have machines that can work with annotations and choose to use those machines to watch your vids. I'll adjust, but I will miss it none the less.
