I stumbled upon something about Donna Pescow's 1979 TV show "Angie", then I remembered she did this show when I was in Junior High/High School. I read some unfair bad reviews about this show, for it's target audience it was just as good as "Hanna Montana" years later.... a show younger teens could watch and their parent could sit through it. Underrated show. 4 years in production says a lot!
Notice the movie posters on the walls of Kyle's apartment, Shenandoah, Beau Geste and The Land That Time Forgot. Now who starred in those movies? If you are old enough and a fan of Doug McClure as long as I have been, 57 years, you may remember him from those and many other movies and earlier TV shows like Overland Trail, Checkmate, The Virginian, Search and Barbary Coast.
This is the first time I have seen a British recording of an American programme. I was interested to see the Central TV logo - Central was my ITV region and I remember watching Out Of This World on Central in the Easter and Spring Bank Holidays in around 1991.
I agree totally. There aren't any decent comedy series nowadays on the bland "ITV 1". In the days of the 15 companies, Central, Granada, Thames, LWT and Yorkshire made some really good comedy series.
LMAO I loved Donna locking Chief Applegate in the apartment at the end I mean it kind of was his fault she had to spend three hours in there with him lol
There's a TON of great shows they never released onto DVD: Out Of This World, Second Chance/Boys will be Boys, Jennifer Slept Here, Babes, Herman's Head, Drexell's Class (I can probably name a lot more, but those are the main ones I miss.) All those classic shows I grew up with need a DVD release!
Chris's hair is like plastic hair hat. He was such a whopper. I was too young to realise how lame this prog was at the time. I still enjoy watching it though, for all the wrong reasons =D
You know, whats so funny, if this happens in the 21st Century? hehe, she wont give a shite.Instead of doing Crosswords, just turning on the Internet and enjoy the time without Mom.
This was one of my most favorite shows as a kid. I loved it! Ahhhhh, the 80s.

I used to love watching this. It was on ITV Thames at lunchtime. I wish it was out on dvd.
The years have been very kind to Maureen Flannigan, she is still a goddess today
Yes, but did the Partridge Family play their own instruments? Donna never answered Kyle's question.
Evie Garland walked so Sabrina Spellman could run.
Doug McClure was incredible 🎩
TRAMPAS😊

@@nedraleggett6837 I remember him from a few episodes of the old TV series 'Men of Annapolis'.

The character Troy McClure from Futurama was based on B-movie actors Troy Donahue and Doug McClure.
MrFlojay Troy McClure was from The Simpsons

Isn't this the same diner as the one from Saved By The Bell?
I miss this show ... maybe because of Donna pescow...I always loved her in Angie.
the mom ... wasn't she in Saturday Night Fever?
Yep,she sure was! And then she starred in her own show 'Angie' for a couple of years. And then this.
And after this show ended, she went over to "Even Stevens" on the Disney Channel.
+Michael Glickman THAT's where I know her from! I've been watching all day long and couldn't put my finger on it!

This is the first time I have seen a British recording of an American programme. I was interested to see the Central TV logo - Central was my ITV region and I remember watching Out Of This World on Central in the Easter and Spring Bank Holidays in around 1991.
I miss ITV from those days, the quality of programs were so much more varied and entertaining than nowadays.
I agree totally. There aren't any decent comedy series nowadays on the bland "ITV 1". In the days of the 15 companies, Central, Granada, Thames, LWT and Yorkshire made some really good comedy series.
Matt571 this was a BBC show before??!
LMAO I loved Donna locking Chief Applegate in the apartment at the end I mean it kind of was his fault she had to spend three hours in there with him lol
So Burt Reynolds is the voice of her alien dad and Doug McClure dating her mom.

This episode contains references to Mr. McClure's appearances in movies and television.
AWESOME.
The moment you realize the song is from one alien to another. 🤣🙏
The theme song was so much better than the series, still hunts me like an earworm sometimes 😂😂😂
It was a spoof of a real song
@@bigjohn08865 Yes, I know! It was played at the end of the 1987 pilot!
This show is awesome!
1:17, the inspiration for Brandy and Monicas The boy is mine.
Always thought Kyle's character was based on Reagan, former "B" actor turned politician telling old Hollywood tales.
15:42 Donna Ethel Garland...!!! Lol...
Buzz was hilarious

Great show
It hard to believe that the mom in this series is the same mom from Even Stevens.
1:23-Michael Poryes, huh? He created _Hannah Montanna_ and other shows like it on the Disney Channel.
I love you You Tube
Inolvidable maravilloso
Que bueno que volvieran Adar estas series
where is the first episode - Evie's Thirteenth Birthday ?
A different uploader has already uploaded it with an HD theme.
No Arsenio.😥 Why so strict mom? Arsenio Hall was the greatest late night show to ever go on air.
Evie looks like Bridget Mendler

How long was this on? I have a small memory of this show.
_Out of This World_ aired in syndication from 1987 to 1991 (4 seasons, 96 episodes).
Mandela effect... This show did not exist in my 90s....
It might have been taken out of rotation around your neck of the woods during that time
3:49 I didn't get the forehead joke.
meaning her mom is really short
What is name of episodes tall woman?
Lords of Kobol... this is a parody of the 80s but not even trying to be.
It's from the 90s
@@MeadeSkeltonMusic it’s from the late 80s, (1987) really doesn’t qualify as a 90s show.
Season 4 Episode 22 (1991)
Why didn’t they go out the window? 😂
Why didn’t she freeze time after meeting with her friends and then walk home.
I assume She drove there. Why should she leave her car there?
She can't misuse her powers or else they're temporarily taken away by her father.

I forget, did Uncle Beano die?
Joe Alaskey died on February 3, 2016 at the age of 63
Plucky Duck has been plucked.
I can't believe that I watched this show as a kid. It's SO cringy.
I guess that's just what we loved back then
Jesus God Christ..... these people were paid for doing this shit? 🤦🏻♂️
Man, I did NOT like this show even as a kid. Even the opening was pretty forgettable.
The only thing I remember liking was that they used part of "Swinging on a Star" in the opening.
God, this is terrible.
What kind of guy lives in an apartment with an automatic door lock?!?
