Mr. lion (who already had a severe wound from buffalo hunt but looks to be healing,) was very lucky and I am glad he got the heck out of there. So so happy to see the Island Female with both cubs. Can’t get enough of seeing them . And it is always special to see Cheetah especially with young ones. Thanks Guys as Always.

I wouldn't say he was lucky. Crocs generally give male lions a wide berth, but in this instance, the surprise factor won out.

Nah, this croc just wasn't really trying. Especially after how I just watched one catch a cheetah that *knew* it was there and had been placed on full-alert.

So happy to see the Island female and her two cubs looking well. That lion had great reflexes. He was lucky he had the hippo to jump up onto. Knowing there was a croc in the water, I was surprised the second injured male would go in. Glad he was able to get away. I hope his injury heals.

Spectacular video! The lion and croc segment had me at the edge of my seat. The boys were quick on their wet feet! Glad they were unharmed. Island female and cub settled my nerves. They are not that hungry. They look well fed. They are like humans, love to eat anything that's free whether hungry or not.
The video of the lions is amazing!! Their reflexes are so fast, really needed the slo-mo to see what happened. Can't tell you how happy I am to see BOTH cubs of the Island female!!! From reading online, it looks like the lion with the stomach injury has had it for quite some time.

Looks more like the croc was trying to scare the lions away from his meal. Maybe I’m just seeing it wrong, but it looked like the croc didn’t even try to bite, he just came out with his mouth wide open

I think you're right. There's another video where a large croc snatches a young cheetah from the waters edge and drags it into the water. The croc in this video had every opportunity to attack but chose not to.
@@followthesun2115 yeah I believe lions can weight 300 more lbs than a cheetah and are much much stronger too. I’m assuming crocs know this. That cheetah was also young so he was probably smaller

@@sillythygoose It all depends on the crocs size. Small crocodiles would definitely not attack a lion, because they are very intelligent and know what they can and can't take on. A large one definitely would though. Weighing 2,000 lbs and 20 feet in length.
The male leopard cub was almost twice the size of the female,amazing.

It looks like the crocs respect lions, and that croc was just chasing the lion away, especially in the second attack.
However, it is impressive how that lion jumped out of the water so fast like a lightening.

The only reason the lion got away, was because the crocodile accidentally got distracted biting the hippo carcass, giving the lion time to get away.

So they have to be smart if they want to attack. If you see they always attack smartly, when they think they´ll win... not by impulse like if the other one was a zebra.

@Sith Jawa actually, transforming into a helicopter will not be in the water. I'm gona take off with human body and 2 sec later I'll transform. That means the croc will miss me in the next nanosecond after I see it.

The croc's charge both times was to scare the Lion rather than to catch a hold of it. A croc wouldn't miss by that much if it didn't want to. The croc is probably aware that the Lion is no lightweight like cheetah and it just wanted the Lion out of the water so that it could feed on the hippo carcass.
That croc would've got killed on land by that lion

I've never seen a Lion behave so much like a cat before than in this vid. The way it balances on the Hippo then does a runner when he realises he's gone too far.
Well people have misconception about lions surely they sleep a large portion of a day to survive in open Savannah but it doesn't mean they are lazy o weak or don't have fast movement
The agility of that 400pound beast is unbelievable. Literally jumped ontop the hippo in microseconds.

@@hillarymathers6322 Uh, no, scavenging dead critters is something they do quite happily when they can find 'em. Takes some fairly advanced putrefaction before only the more steely-gutted specialist scavengers can stomach it.
Carnivores in general and the big-game specialists in particular tend to have too infrequent meals to be overly fussy about freshness.

Notice how the croc never actually attacked, it only broke surface quickly with mouth open. It never bit of tried to bite the lions. Crocs are very aware these are big male lions and won't risk injury. This was the crocs trying to scare the lions away from the kill
Well said. The crock has no interest in fighting with lion. Especially with that much food right there. Plus the water is not deep enough for crock to have the advantage. Crocs don't get that big being stupid.

Ima tell you this, large crocs dont give a shit if they are big male lions, due to them still dwarfing the lions and can pretty much one shot them unlike the lion to the croc, and the croc is intelligent enough to know it doesn't have to waste energy because something else is already dead in front of it, Lions arent fucking jesus.

@@mnyamawamaji5234 in both attempts by the gator we’re miss fires, and the lion reacts after the fact. The leap onto the hippo was impressive. Sure, if you watch once from a distance on camera it appears he may dodge it in real time. Good stunts in movies make punches look real with no contact. If you slow it down you’ll see the gator misses before a delayed reaction and impressive leap.
