Have a +10 Atk boon BK and I'm really thinking about giving Savvy to him. It feels like BK is always lacking B slots that actually really help him out. Mine has his speed actually very decent, hence why he doesn't need as much skills that guarantee him follow up attacks. And the times he can't double he's rarely getting doubled, even against nukers. Black Luna is already very low in charges to begin with and is instead better activated with Breath skills as seal anyway. So that leaves BK with B slots like Special fighter that don't benefit him as much anymore. To me it's like all these years up until now there wasn't a really worth exclusive Armor B slot for speedy Armor units. Speed tanking Armor units have never been a thing in Feh up until now and it's big. All these years, the best B slots that have helped my BK up until now have been Wrath, Vantage and recently Daring fighter 3 which is like a player phase F!Edelgard counter, NFU and desperation. So yeah, I always found BK lacking in B slots these last 2 years with all the infantry units i build with tons of crazy fun stuff. It should be clear that I really need to get Savvy to my BK but there's just one gaint problem. I don't want to kill this Lucina. I'm a big dork for awakening as a whole, Lucina especially and I swear to god. I genuinely never had this much fun with a new armor unit I actually like since what it feels like very long ago. I thought Updated Legendary Lucina would be the last time I'd be able to have so much fun with a Lucina and I was wrong. They release me this Lucina and she made me love armor units again. By 2018 I was already very tired of armor units and found love for a very long time on infantry units. I didn't use armor units at all for a very long time until BK got his refine a big bunch of time ago. I don't care about AR or arena, just a casual player that likes to beat all the abyssal maps and hard content in his own way with the most stupid builds. So much so, that my favorite unit is a Speedy Némesis. But anyways. I'm a very old F2P player with almost everything done that can give orbs and it hurts my soul, knowing that I'll probably only have this one Lucina I got in 230 orbs. I saved up desperately about 200 orbs ever since the Valentine banner was announced on the feh channel. I did all the batallions and chain battles I had left in the game. Also all the strategy maps that give out orbs and I have to say. Seeing getting one armor Lucina after everything I went through for those orbs made me really happy. She's +HP -Def and i'll probably change her traits with mangos if i can't merge her. I doubt I'll get another Lucina but if I do, I will have to make the painful decision whether to merge my older armor Lucina and fix her bad bane, or feed it to my BK just so he can actually use a new B slot after all these years that can actually counter F!Edelgard on enemy phase because he can't get NFU in enemy phase unless I put Duo Byleth Sothis in the same team. It's not really for the A slot, Premium Kestrel or whatever it's called. It is a good A slot for him and it also stops special charges which is good. But I think I'm going to keep using Atk/Def Unity with my BK, I think it's more useful, mostly because a lot of the opponents my BK faces are not that speedy since I don't care about ranking modes much. It's for savvy. I need it. 30% DMG reduction on first hit doesn't sound like a lot, but paired with Flayn that raises survivability a lot for BK. Which is like his biggest problem. His lack of damage reduction really hurts him severally on todays standards. It feels like BK tends to fight either multiple opponents simultaneously that could somewhat hurt him or very powerful opponents that could one shot him and it's hard for him. Vantage and Wrath are of my favorite buddys for him because of it. Since I can't naturally give NFU to my BK, I have to relay on fighting a F!Edelgard on enemy phase, surviving the first combat round against her and be on the health threshold to activate vantage with Black Luna for the second round. Which is.. not safe and unreliable if it wasn't because my BK is stupidly strong and even more now because of Atk/Def Unity, got lucky and pulled spare Ash'. I really hate F! Edelgard by the way, it's literally my feh username now. (Which is why more and more F!Edelgard counters never hurt) I want to use Valentine's Lucina on the same team as my BK, so on top of it all I also want a save skill for my BK, Female Robin's one which is far save. So yeah, I need to pull at LEAST one more Lucina, a female Robin and Duo Chrom who I also really want with about 100 remaining orbs. Probably will just color snipe on Lucina at this point even if I'm losing really big especially on Duo Chrom. All of this would easily be solved if I just could spark in the banner but I can't. I was hoping for this banner to not require feh pass to spark which really sucks. Sparking has been the only way for a lot of F2Ps like me to even be able to barely get new units or be able to fix their banes with a free neutral merge. So yeah, I have it fucked. If I had to decide between the Lucina bane fix or Savvy for BK I think I'll go for the merge tho. Since I plan on using her for probably forever.
Man, I’m trying to build up an Arden, but seeing this makes me wanna reconsider. I think I’ll stick with building Arden, but I might consider black knight in the future if I ever get savvy fighter.
If you're just building not for favorites or anything, I'd definitely say build Arden for near save. Black luna misses a lot of kills from damage reduction and weapon triangle disadvantage, whereas Arden can just spam ignis with brave hits which will guarantee him the kill a lot more. Plus he has a ton of HP even if he does miss a kill initially and has to get hit.

As I said, with each update Black Knight is slowly becoming stronger. Now I gotta summon Lucina for that skill since since my BK's already a monster as is.
I wasn’t originally going to fodder lucina but then I managed to get another on a lucky pull, don’t regret foddering Lucina for him, it’s such a fun play style for BK!
His art is pristine but I hope he still gets a Resplendent so he can match Amelia's stats but being red and F2P and thus being the best Gen 1 Fast Near Save
Still haven't been able to get her. I would like 2 copies though because I actually want to use her too. 3 copies actually, for near save for my Manuela
@@meru8348 You know you still can do that, with spurn, repel, close call or frenzy. Just run a speed build and you can have double damage reduction (Won't be 80% reduction, but I think it's at least 60% or something). However, I'd recommend null-follow up for the b slot, but it's still good to have that extra damage reduction in case you come across someone who you don't need null-follow up on.

Zelgius is going to get a resplendent eventually. We haven't had any GHB or TT resplendents
