When we all know for a fact that Carmen Carrera 100 percent had no idea what Heathers is and probably still doesn't to this day...also Delta and Manilla kept getting the film references all wrong.....it's painful how little the Heathers actually knew about the film Heathers
Right? it’s making me think maybe Raja kinda sucks? I always loved her and thought she seems like a nice person. But had totally forgotten about that!!

The treatment of Stacy on S3 is one of the reasons why I refuse to watch that season again. They were downright cruel to her. I hate that she had to go through all this after Drag Race, she deserves so much better.

Do you know what I found a bit sickening? Is how Raja and Manila never really apologized to Stacey during that reunion episode, instead tried to gaslight her like their insults were not really that hurtful. Idk if they tried to make amends years after that but I feel like those heathers really let time bury all the ugly bullying they did in that show.
Exactly. I couldn’t stand the Heathers group of bullies and felt like I was the only person that was pissed when Raja won. It was like giving a reward for being just plain nasty.
@@AthyDuGardi was too i recently just started watching drag race and just skipped the ep where she won bc i don't wanna see that after being spoiled by yt
We also can’t forget that Stacey was one of the first if not the first , Native American/Indigenous Queens to appear. It’s sucks that her native heritage was only talked about in the episode she was eliminated. I really wish we could’ve gotten to see her other drag outfits. s3 was that really creative project runway like season, it was very creative based and while some have an issue with that. What you can create, and not what you can acquire. It REALLY high lighted many of their creative talents, Raja,YARAAA, Manila, Alexis, .. I really would’ve loved to have seen more of Phoenix and Venus D-Lite!!! they all had potential and Stacey was one of the first dark horses in the season, sucks she didn’t know her potential till way after. I would love to see a possible Big Girls all stars season. Seeing how far each of them have come and representing themselves might change how society views bigger people and inspire others.
Poor Stacy Layne Matthews. =[ It sucks that her situation keeps not letting her get up on her feet. =[ I hope her gigs pick up again, or she’s able to at least find stable income.
What joke? I guess it was kinda funny to include someone of their caliber in the same category as queens like Bob, Bianca, and Trixie. She is much bigger then them.
well, many queens had financial troubles during the lockdown time, e.g. Ellie Diamond from RPDR UK season 2 also became homeless and had to work in a drive-thru
The word “love” has never been more de-valued than in this show. RuPaul uses it all the time and do you really think he would even take a private phone call from any of these queens, except for those who work with him? No, I don’t think so. The word love to them means very little sadly. RuPaul could have gotten her somewhere to stay easy, and it likely could have cost him nothing-charge it to the business, right? I’m someone who means love when I say love. But this is Hollywood and shows like this, which tout that love is the most important thing, well, it seems like bull to me. RuPaul wants to believe it maybe, but that doesn’t mean he would actually do anything to really help one of his girls, not in a real world situation, at least that’s my opinion. It’s like all the Christians who “pray” for you instead of actually doing something to help you. It’s meant to sound like it’s actually something good, but it’s useless isn’t it? Worse actually! They’ve done countless experiments on this, trying to prove how great God is at answering prayers, but they all turn out the same-the patients prayed for actually fare far worse than those who were not prayed for! You’d think that their peace of mind about knowing people prayed for them would make some positive difference if nothing else, but nope! Nope nope nope! I pray only on eyelashes that fall out and I’ve had a higher approval rating than I ever did praying to any god! But I don’t pray to eyelashes for those I love, I do what I can to actually help them when they need help! Two hands doing anything are more effective than them praying!
@@megottamove In general, people who speak English misuse the words "love" and "friend". Nowadays in English, love is a close synonym for "adore" and friend is every single idiot you meet in life. My language is Polish and, like any Slavic language, we have many words that we still use and each word has its original meaning. Love in our language is a serious feeling that we give to a special person. If you want to say that you love someone (in the sense that you adore them), you say the word "uwielbiać", e.g. "I love this musician. He is just great." As for the topic of friends... unfortunately more and more young Poles are adopting the English style of speech and are starting to call more and more strangers their friends, but nevertheless we still have a few words with which we can call another person. "Znajomy" comes from the word "znać" (to know). It's a person we know, but not enough to mean something more to us. E.g. "I'm going out with friends to a party." Kolega (male), koleżanka (female) is someone you like and spend time with, but is still not trusted enough to call a friend. Kumpel (male), kumpela/kumpelka (female), ziomek (male) are trusted people you are friends with, but your relationship is still not reliable. Finally, there is the word "przyjaciel", which means a completely trusted, supportive person and one who likes, accepts and loves you as you are. I have only one przyjaciel (my mother) and many "znayomies" 😉 Everybody say loooove, we're frieeeends 😁🤣 ah, yes and of course "we are a big family" 😜
Yeah… it’s nice to say but it’s a lot more complicated in reality as those things usually don’t turn out well. Not always but MORE OFTEN THAN NOT- when someone is in a position like that, it’s their own fault and they continue to make bad choices because they get bailed out and then you get burned. I say this as a gay man who has helped many of my gay brothers and sisters in those positions and have been burned every single time but once. And they never leave easy. And most of us also don’t have unlimited resources to fix everything for someone either as most of us are also struggling- most of America is one or two missed checks away from poverty and homelessness. Also If you’re so keen, America is crippled right now with a homeless right that’s larger than it has ever been in history, go invite one of them to live in YOUR home because they’re your fellow brother/sister on this earth correct? Yeah- I didn’t think so. In fact, you probably avoid them, ignore them and would step right over one sleeping on the sidewalk in front of you. So don’t get all pious or put your money where your mouth is, OKAY HENNNNNNYYYYY?
The quote “it was couture to me, henny” forever lives in my mind. I hope that Stacy gets back on her feet, because she seems like a genuinely great person.
I loved Stacy on her season! She was our first real underdog queen plucked from obscurity. Other queens were really nasty to bigger queens in those earlier seasons, it's such a shame. Like, I recently rewatched Season 2 and every time Raven starts talking about Mystique it's like, how did Tatiana come out as the shit talker in that season.
Right? I loved Tati even more when she stood up for Mystique, even if I didn't really connect with Mystique. She didn't deserve the fat shaming and the constant sniping and putting down. The fact Tati stood up for her made me fall in love with Tati even more. And it made me disconnect with Raven. Some people have simple talents but a big heart. Others have a lot of talent, but a nasty dark streak and a vindictive nature. The latter sadly being Raven.
@@nisarojas2869 I actually loved her talent and her style, but her vindictive nature and her desperation to be liked and noticed by Ru absolutely overshadowed all of that and made me disconnect from her. A shame because it seems Hollywood loves a bitch, and only bitches get far.
Fans dubbed Tyra the villain of the season because of a couple moments of her, even though we clearly saw on the reunion how Raven was consistently toxic almost every episode and some queens felt hurt by her. It just IRKS ME how she got treated as an icon for her attitude.
@@rafaxpg Yep people bullied and trashed Tyra for years they were very cruel and evil to him while praising Raven who did even more than Tyra. Frankly I enjoy both drag queens but alot of the later fans of drag race are wild and biased very often
So funny how if ppl went back and watched Raja on her season, they'd hate her. She was better than the other girls for the most part but also thought she was, let everyone KNOW she was and was cruel on top of it and ganged up on less established queens. It's hard for me to discuss b/c Raja and Manila are two of my faves but they were really nasty on their season.
its so funny too because raja walked in the work room and knew everyone was judging her. but she got full of herself so quickly, its sad because unique queens often do that. nobody talks about how rude sharon was on season 4 but she often started things with phi phi only to get away with it (it gives white tears)
If everyone who watched this video donated $5, Stacy would be able to afford housing for almost 3 years. If Stacy’s work has ever given you joy, PLEASE DONATE TO HER - even $1 can make a difference for someone when they’re struggling. Esp as a trans woman of color, she needs to be supported by the community
This needs to be pinned to the very top. Her name is the main aisle at DragCon. For her to EVER run the risk of being without a place to live is SHAMEFUL. between us fans & Drag Race production, this should NOT be happening. Also, where is the health insurance for these queens? World of Wonder should be taking care of their own. They should all be ashamed & start to do MUCH BETTA. NOW.
Thanks for lighting a fire under my ass to donate. No one should be without housing, especially incredible artists like Stacy who overcame so many obstacles and bullying.
I apologize I haven't finished watching the video yet, if it does include where I can donate to Stacy then you can disregard my comment, but if it doesn't mention it can you please tell me or possibly provide a link for me to donate to her? Thank you and I will try to look when I get off work if I can't get the info from any kind commenter or the vid ❤
I really want to point out how I literally can't rewatch season 3 because of several things: 1) The constant trans- and body phobia 2) the whole Heathers boogers bullying that happened 3) The mistreatment of the latin gurls by production and castmates. I still haven't forgiven Manila and Roger and the rest of them for being such mean bullies. I know it was YEARS ago and people do change but that just left SUCH a sour taste in my mouth that it still lasts. This video is an excellent research! Your work here on this channel is amazing!
But in a way it all backfired. Two of the Heather's ended up biting the dust with the fandom so to speak....and I say that in a subdued manner because I don't enjoy seeing or hearing of people facing hate. But Carmen and Delta have endured a huge disconnect with the franchise and the fandom since the show, with both of them having beef with the Mother herself...RuPaul. Meanwhile Stacy has been gently carving out her own niche and has seen a steady incline in interest. I hope and pray that she keeps on seeing more and more interest and that she ends up back on our screens again.
We've oversaturated TV Queens which these days probably have low booking fees due to the fact of there being so many of them! I met Stacy on a tour with Jasmin Masters in the UK in 2017 and she was an absolute sweet heart.
And we can only imagine the impact on regular drag performers. They must be struggling to find any work at all when venues have 1000 RuGirls to choose from
@@lj2265 I was a drag queen in germany for over 6 years and stopped because you couldn't do anything anymore that wasn't shown on drag race. If you don't do the splits and deathdrops and all the shablaming they stop booking you. It's not about the art of performance anymore. Like jasmin masters loves to say: 'rupauls drag race fucked up drag' all over the world.
@@lj2265 well during S6 in her MTQ promos Laganja said she was sick of making $50 bookings... So if that was back then, imagine. Sure Queens make tips but doubt its enough to pay rent.
You left out some of Stacey’s classic hits during her season. One of my faves is when Shangela, Delta and Raja were getting into it in Untucked and Stacey was looking at the cameraman in disbelief.
We're cirrently getting flooded with drag queens from rpdr, all people that seek stardom and are under the impression of having financial gain from the experience. But the market is saturated. It has been for years. Local queens and kings are disregarded (still mad about the show not including the whole picture of drag culture like bio queens and drag kings etc.). And the market being so overflown gives competing queens a false sense of security. It's touch and i feel for her, but she's caught in a system that will eat the "weak" and overly reward the popular ones.
I think Raja is fabulous, I toot and boot with her, she killed AS7 with her fabulosity...and she has grown and evolved since season 3 BUT she was a bully with that booger 🐂💩 and it was racially based even though they were all POC...shame on you too Delta, Carmen, Manila you were the real boogers!
What makes it extra sad is that Stacey did RPDR as a pioneer, before it was mainstream and celebrated. It saddens me that a person who made the show into what it is has such a bad time.
Angele Anang, for example: after winning, she had a very good time, but as the pandemics hit Thailand she wasn't able to keep her work, she and her family got constantly phisically abused by her father, making them to leave his house. Angele worked as housekeeper (no shame on that, but how many other winners went through this?) and now is finally getting back in track. Will she ever be casted for an All Winners? She should. Not only because of her struggles, but because most of the fandom is lazy enough to pass through Drag Race Thailand, ignoring how many talented artists were showcased there. She's political, she's outspoken, she can speak both Thai and English, yet she doesn't have half of the recognition any other western winner has.
Wow never knew about this. And I thought Angele is more mainstream known than Natalia Pliacam. Do you know any news about Natalia? Nowadays, I randomly sometimes thought about her.
@@Qeisama Natalia barely gets in drag nowadays. Drag has never been her main career and still it's not. She participated in some TV shows with Anne Maywong earlier this year, but she's not the kind of girl who's every weekend in drag.
This is how I feel about Drag Race Philippines. The production is messy but the quality of queens they have is amazing, and yet no one watches it outside the country. It probably has the lowest viewership from the west compared to all the franchises.
The whole AS4 just never sat right with me.. even under the assumption that Stacy was only supposed to do her cameo on ep2, then why did they never bring her back for a future all stars? I mean from watching this, it just seems like WoW hopped on the bandwagon of liking Stacy, and then left her to dry when it was all done. It's also unfortunate she's had to experience such financial struggles & health issues the past couple years. I hope she feels the love after this video
I LOVE Stacy. Literally loved her since season 3. She doesn't realise that she is appreciated by a stranger who lives in the UK, and I hope and wish that she finds huge success. Would love for more exposure for her through an all stars. Xxx
This is so true of there is no guarantee things will work out after drag race. Look at Robbie Turner, Milan, Kenya Michaels, Ivy Winters, TYRA SANCHEZ a winner of her season. Drag race doesn’t guarantee anything after you’re off the show. Support your local and favorite queens!
well, Kenya stopped performing because she was performing at the Orlando Pulse shooting and it left her with a big trauma, Ivy Winters retired from drag willingly; I don't know about why Milan quit and Robbie Turner had that situation with a fake Uber crash and she dissapeared from social media and stopped performing. There is a theory that it may have happened due to some mental problems.
Thank you so much for shedding light on Stacy’s situation. It’s important as fans we support the people who give us so much entertainment, especially during struggling times.
Stacy seems to had enough struggles for three lifetimes. I that she can get the medical help she needs to be able to get back into performing 100%. I have very fond memories of her back in season 3, and hate how she was treated by the "Heathers". She is one of the sweetest girls from the competition and deserves a happy and financially stable life.
This really hits home with me because I've been struggling with almost every one of the things that she's had a hard time with particularly since the pandemic started. I started transitioning this year but have been having a lot of issues with my health and finances because I'm back in school, out of shape, and stress/anxiety has started to compound and snowball and I think it's probably the root cause of some of my health problems. I'm worried my doctor is going to make me go off hormones until I can get myself straightened out. It's hard out here. 🥴
I won’t claim to understand in the slightest how tough transitioning must be, but I do understand anxiety, depression, and extreme stress. They are things I’ve battled since middle school (I am now 30), and I know how it can feel like you’re being ducked into a black hole that you can’t climb out of. Just remember that nothing is permanent, and that you are stronger than you think. I wish you all the best, you’re not alone
@@ohyesitsjackies yeah my anxiety has gotten really out of control the last couple years. Things are finally getting better. Glad you’re showing a lot of rajas moments on this. I think people forget how mean raja was during her season. Remember she was part of a self proclaimed “Heathers” alliance.
Stacey stole my heart on S3 and it's upsetting people always forget her amazing lip sync against India. She gave THE FACE FACE FACE! Stacey is still one of my favorite queens and I hope she can get back on her feet. I wish the fandom came to her aid and help her out. It'd be nice to have Drag Race send her a shout out for support to bring more awareness to her situation!
I'll be honest. I hate that Stacy added so much to Drag Race yet they gave her nothing. I don't think it's right production did nothing to help her during her public struggles. To bait and switch All Stars was wrong. It's just so sad to know she went through all this. She's an amazing queen and person that deserves more. Fs donating to her when I'm not struggling 💖
I used to talk to Stacy on Facebook and snapchat a lot.. this was a few years back. She was really a great person. Loved our brief friendship. ❤ hope she remembers me fondly.

Stacy Layne is seriously one of the nicest people I've ever met. I was a dresser for a local queen and Miss Stacy was there to perform. She also joined us a BBQ. She was so nice. Pure southern belle. She never was treated the way she should be treated. It's sad. She's a phenomenal queen and such a pure soul.
I have always loved Miss Heeennnnnnyyyyyy! I'm from NC and I'm pretty sure she was the only Queen from NC to compete on Drag race until Heidi N Closet came about.
It's like a vicious circle. She has no money because she can't afford a manager. And she doesn't have a manager because she has no money. That's so cruel I wish the stars align for Stacey as she deserves way more from this world.
Don't forget to tip Stacy on her paypal or something, I have always loved Stacy so so so so much, she's sweet and is only trying her best in this tough life with little room for people with hearts as kind as hers
Stacy had the unfortunate timing of being on season 3, when the direction of the program was changing. Her story arc was great TV. She was the underdog who was growing and evolving under production. However, having experienced queens like Raja and Manila- chosen in order to be seen as more polished- really stunted any further growth for Stacy. I wish the best for Stacy and hope she can get back on track and performing once again should her health allow it :)
I only started binging drag race this April, and finished a few weeks ago. I started with season 3, and Stacy was absolutely a stand out for me. I instantly followed her on insta, and started keeping up with her. It was so bad seeing what’s she’s been through, and it made me realize how shitty early drag race could be. She experienced so much fatphobia as a bigger queen, and she should absolutely be recognized for just for her talents, but for opening the door for queens like silky or eureka, who absolutely haven’t been forgotten about like Stacy.
I love and loved her. Stacy was one of the first queens I had ever seen, when I was in grade school, sick at home. I saw her lipsync, and I was enamored. I wasn’t even sure what I was watching, I just knew I liked it. Stacy is one of the best queens out there, and deserves so much more love.
This makes me so sad and hope she bounces back and we get an update video one day. I know ther because of her situation and identity, it's hard to find ppl willing to embrace you in certain working class workplaces . As a hetero normative straight acting gay man I have a lot of anxiety in straight places like work environments so I can only imagine how much harder it is for Trans women
Thank you for making this video! I have been commenting on youtubers video's to make a video about her situation since she got evicted, thank you for using your platform to help out. She is always apologizing on instagram about her situation and it breaks my heart because it's not her fault :( hoping things will get better, life is long and there's time for her to turn it around.
Back when I was a little baby Drag King I remember meeting Stacey at my home bar, I was in my head and feeling at my lowest. She approached me at the bar after she heard some nasty other local queen's fat shame me (Edit: I say nasty as in they were being rude and hateful. I don't trash others artists) , and she told me some emotional words of encouragement. I will never forget her or that night. If I am ever in the same city that she has/had a show in, she's the first queen I give my money to. My drag career didn't last long after that, but her encouragement stuck with me as I came into the person I am today. This video warmed my heart, I was so worried it was going to be a video with something hateful - but I have come to realize after watching other videos here, GreenGay is the go - to source for drag race content. Please keep up the great content GG!!
What a lovely story of Stacy! Honestly as I was watching a bunch of her interviews for this video, I really got to see what a humble person she is. Such a sweetheart all around!
IDC what anyone says, she is very beautiful and a extremely great talent! I noticed her social media presence isn't consistent. Maybe that could make her presence known and gain extra income
I absolutely love SLM, from being the underdog to winning snatch game on her season was incredible to watch. Also her read to Delta “Cheers. I’m so glad you’re here.” sends me to the moon
All the early seasons need a whole show together. Like we got that rupaul live show, how come WOW/production continues to ignore the queens that put their show in the main stream. I mean, all shade, if the early seasons queens didn't do what they did, where would Ru/the show be now.
We need an old fashioned variety show. Not even necessarily every week, once a month would work. No competition whatsoever just sketches, music, celebrity guests, musical guests. A place for the queens to SHINE doing what they love and what they do best. Think Sonny and Cher show, Donny and Marie, the Jacksons, the Mandrell Sisters, HeeHaw, the Carol Burnett show &Laugh-In. I think ppl would eat it up. I know I would!!
great and informative video as always, i’m not big into the drag race fandom i just casually enjoy watching the show and i had no clue about any of this. i hope stacy is doing well
Stacy Layne Matthews endured horrible treatment from her peers, yet she paved the way for such acts as Silky Nutmeg Ganache. Stacey needs her flowers and her respect.
I’ll say this - SLM should have WON season three!! She is a true queen and deserves so much better. Honestly- watch that season again. She really was the best and I hope she gets the compensation she deserves.
I loved Stacy Layne! I never understood how anyone could be mean to her in any way! You can just tell that she's a loving person and I only wish the best for her!

You're one of the best and most entertaining queer culture historians streaming your knowledge to us for free because of your love for drag. It's a topic that is so intersectional it allows a vast array of perspectives and issues to be analyzed, discussed and promulgated. It also makes me happy to know people like you are insuring our histories and herstories and theirstories are not erased by time or malevolent groups seeking to silence us. So much of queer history was lost in the shuffle of it happening during such a tumultuous time that was then coupled with the AIDS epidemic striking down so many people who carried those stories inside their minds but nowhere else.
Thank you! That's actually a big reason why I started this channel. To be able to immortalize all these stories of all these queens from this era of Dragrace. Eventually, the show WILL die down. But future generations will begin watching it themselves. These videos will allow them to have a glimpse into what it was like as it occured in real time.
Thanks for making this video! It showcases very well what people do not realise in dragrace, that getting to the show is not anymore automatic leverage to instant success. In addition how much money is needed for all the outfits etc. Partially the problem is that the show is coming bigger and bigger by the year and a bit overproduced with all the extra evaluators deciding "are you good enough" for the show
Just wanted to say, been watching this channel a while now and the quality of your vids has just changed to much for the better. It's almost incomparable, but having you narrate and investigate this vids is so cool to see

Is how Raja and Manila never really apologized to Stacey during that reunion episode, instead tried to gaslight her like their insults were not really that hurtful. Idk if they tried to make amends years after that but I feel like those heathers really let time bury all the ugly bullying they did in that show.
That also bothers me! Everyone’s always like “At least Raja apologized”, no she didn’t. That was a hell of a non-apology.
Exactly. I couldn’t stand the Heathers group of bullies and felt like I was the only person that was pissed when Raja won. It was like giving a reward for being just plain nasty.
That untucked made me so mad. Stacey was basically forced to smile through it😭

I would love to see a plus size queen take the crown 👑.
As someone who is apart of the Lumbee Tribe like stacey i just wanted to say thank you for talking about it!!💓
Same @Jake Dial! It warmed my Lumbee heart when I saw her on S3 for the first time 💙💜🤎
Big girls all stars YESSSSS I’m here for it!!!!!
why does her heritage matter? She is an American, I suppose?
Poor Stacy Layne Matthews. =[ It sucks that her situation keeps not letting her get up on her feet. =[ I hope her gigs pick up again, or she’s able to at least find stable income.
Serena Cha Cha joke already 10 Seconds in😭
What joke? I guess it was kinda funny to include someone of their caliber in the same category as queens like Bob, Bianca, and Trixie. She is much bigger then them.
Not a joke, just a fact 💚

@@chrisbuckley1785 Serena Cha Cha the Queen of all Queens
@@palamedes4740 you mean la llorona?
i hate when queens preach "we're sisters" if my "sister" went through financial instabilities i'll be right there lending her space in my home.
well, many queens had financial troubles during the lockdown time, e.g.
He is just great."
As for the topic of friends... unfortunately more and more young Poles are adopting the English style of speech and are starting to call more and more strangers their friends, but nevertheless we still have a few words with which we can call another person.
"Znajomy" comes from the word "znać" (to know). It's a person we know, but not enough to mean something more to us. E.g. "I'm going out with friends to a party."
Kolega (male), koleżanka (female) is someone you like and spend time with, but is still not trusted enough to call a friend. Kumpel (male), kumpela/kumpelka (female), ziomek (male) are trusted people you are friends with, but your relationship is still not reliable. Finally, there is the word "przyjaciel", which means a completely trusted, supportive person and one who likes, accepts and loves you as you are. I have only one przyjaciel (my mother) and many "znayomies" 😉
Everybody say loooove, we're frieeeends 😁🤣 ah, yes and of course "we are a big family" 😜
I didn't expect this thorough explanation in a reply comment, thank you@@80snewwavemusic-synthpostp80

Stacy is one of the best humans I have ever interacted with. Such a sweet soul who deserves so much more
The quote “it was couture to me, henny” forever lives in my mind. I hope that Stacy gets back on her feet, because she seems like a genuinely great person.
Stacy may not have been one of the most polished queens on the screen, but NO ONE can argue she do got Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve, and Talent!
Sure they can
I loved Stacy on her season!
@@AmaanStorm especially with what we saw out of Raven… oof
True. Not to mention dumb. Everyone knows Veronica was the sh*t in 'Heathers'; not the three Heathers. 🙄
its so funny too because raja walked in the work room and knew everyone was judging her. but she got full of herself so quickly, its sad because unique queens often do that. nobody talks about how rude sharon was on season 4 but she often started things with phi phi only to get away with it (it gives white tears)
I liked Raja more when I watched it 🤷♀️.
NOW.
That's a fuckin g America n government issue. Only developed nation with no universal healthcare.
Thanks for lighting a fire under my ass to donate. No one should be without housing, especially incredible artists like Stacy who overcame so many obstacles and bullying.
She would have over 1M if that happened now 🥲🥲🥲
I apologize I haven't finished watching the video yet, if it does include where I can donate to Stacy then you can disregard my comment, but if it doesn't mention it can you please tell me or possibly provide a link for me to donate to her? Thank you and I will try to look when I get off work if I can't get the info from any kind commenter or the vid ❤
I really want to point out how I literally can't rewatch season 3 because of several things:
1) The constant trans- and body phobia
2) the whole Heathers boogers bullying that happened
3) The mistreatment of the latin gurls by production and castmates.
I still haven't forgiven Manila and Roger and the rest of them for being such mean bullies.
I know it was YEARS ago and people do change but that just left SUCH a sour taste in my mouth that it still lasts.
This video is an excellent research!
Your work here on this channel is amazing!
Same. Three is the season I just can’t stomach.
Yeah, they most likely apologized since
Raja apologised early and publicaly in the reunion episode.
I agree. I also don’t like rewatching S3 for the same reasons!

@@AmaanStorm M&G were cheap too, I believe we paid around £15 to meet her Jasmin.
I miss her. the first time I watched this show I was team stacy all the way when I got to season 3. I love her.
We’ve gotten one bio queen, but couldn’t stay the whole season.

She's gotta a point.
She's an icon.
She's a legend.
And she is the moment.
She is the moment.
Now come on y'all.
My take was it was using someone as a punchline under the guise of celebrating then. Same as with porkchop
@@kiwisoup definitely that. Like perfomative charity, but with people instead. Production only cared about her and Porkchop for good press.
stacy has always been one of my favourite queens, she has such a warm and genuine energy that makes her stand out
I LOVE Stacy. Literally loved her since season 3. She doesn't realise that she is appreciated by a stranger who lives in the UK, and I hope and wish that she finds huge success. Would love for more exposure for her through an all stars.

That is really really nice doll! ❤️🤙
Why don't we celebrate queens like this more?
You’re absolutely right!!! We need to give them flowers now.
She weathered the abuse on her season with the endurance of long practice. It was sad but also inspiring. I hope life gives her a break.
I love her!! Once of the first representation of Natives on Drag Race!
Hopefully she will do an all stars season
Things are finally getting better. stacy is a really sweet person, its such a shame that she's struggling, i wish she will overcome this :c
Stacy deserves so much better. ✨ She’s such a kind queen.
Thank you for bringing light to her story!!! It’s been so hard to watch them struggle on social media
LMFAOO not the Serena Cha Cha shade in the beginning 🤣😭

Her singing in the song "Heather" is soooo good. I'd enjoy a full album to be honest.
I would of loved Stacy being on all stars 4. Even if she didn't win. I want her on my tv

Brent so well said👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks for making this video!
It's almost incomparable, but having you narrate and investigate this vids is so cool to see
Hi GreenGay--Recent fan of your page; your intro gets me every single intro. Love that you do such an in depth job researching the queens prior to each video, and how you keep things objective/positive. The fandom needs a creator like you--thanks for the quality content! :)
Stacy is one of my favorite queens ever, she’s so funny and talented and an underrated kind of early out
this makes me SO sad that production played Stacy on AS4. Now it makes sense why she was randomly thrown in there. and side note I hated that part where Stacy was holding Naomi's leg in the end of "Don't Funk It Up." Stacy isn't anyone's leg rest, she deserves ALL her flowers 💐💐💐
When did Serena Cha Cha become a drag superstar? LOL, what did I miss? 😂
She's literally the reason why I stopped channel surfing and started watching RuPaul's Drag Race in the first place. I hate this is what she's going through
Wow! SO excited you saw this the same night I did! You are so talented and made Season 03 great!
Stacey is a legend. Her performance in drag queens in outer space was hilarious! And as Mo’nique too. She’s the real deal!
The stonewall audio at the beginning makes me laugh every time lol
THANK YOU FOR THIS ONEEE
The sheer amount of shade in the intro and in “SERENA CHACHAAA”
