This and chatterbox are the only station I would listen to, Frankie Fame brings back so many memories, I remember just parking up at the docks, listening to this song whilst looking out to sea.
Head Radio and Kuruma are the names EVERYbody will remember. For the first time on that bridge, entering the car and Head Radio coming on. You just remember things like that. Ahh, nostalgia.
Ah yes,at five years old I was playing this, remembering almost everything at the beginning.I'm twelve now but it seems games from 2001 and 2002 were the last of it's kind, nostalgic kind. You don't get that feeling with the most recent games.
it is amazing to see how many people own/owned a copy of GTA3. I love it when we can all come together because of a video game. That makes me happy. No homo. +1 for unity.
My story behind this radio : I listened to this since I was a little kid and I just got my PS2, I was singing already the lyrics of these songs lol. Also everytime I went (And still go out) I always listen to these radio's. Personally I prefer these songs over this day's non-sense (JB, etc.) But if it wasn't up to Rockstar, I wouldnt be having taste for songs. So Head Radio, Give me liberty !
This is Head Radio, A Love Media station, just one of nine hundred radio stations, three hundred TV stations, four networks, three satellites, ten senators... thankyou, THANKYOU, Thankyou, -thankyou-
gta 3 had the greatest variety and quality of (not very famous)music, talkshows and commercials out of all the gta's. every thing on the radio was extremely memorable+nestalgiac.
one of my favorite radio stations! GTA 3: Head Radio, Lips106 Vice City: Flash FM, Radio Espantoso San Andreas: K-Jah West, K-DST, CSR 103.9 IV: none (I haven't played it yet) but head radio is the best of all of them!
@trane1965 wow, my thoughts exactly. Seeing those cutscenes and the driving from a 3D perspective. All the massive city felt so surreal, yet exciting. With every passing minute and mission you wanted more. I'd do anything to relive that :)
Gta 3 was the first gta I played and I still play this instead of GTA IV. I think I speak for almost whole youtube if the soundtrack of GTA Vice City and GTA lll are the best ones ever made in a game.
@viktorwikb lol i didnt know so many people got that same feeling when in that Kuruma driving of the ''Calihan Bridge'' with those songs playing in your ear NOSTALGIA
Disabling Trails and Dynamic Acoustic Modelling always worked for me, but it spawned from a dll that wasn't present with the install, I used to have the same problem back then
wheni play this game i was so happy bc it was my 1st game where i seen violence such as hitting a person and shooting a pedestrian ....1st thing i did when i play
@EmoReaper1997 yo dawg, back in 2001 gta was new with third person and for some reason parents never cared until 2008/2012 thats when gta was real crazy :)
lol i played this with my nephew( cuz i didnt had a ps2 back in 2000/2001) and we were like 5/6 years old lol but gta 3 has a special place in my heart its the first game i bought when i had my ps2 even though gta sa was the shit back then i always played gta 3
My first GTA game was..the GTA 2 DEMO...than i bought GTA 1, GTA London Addon..GTA 2, GTA 3, GTA Vice City, GTA Sand Andreas..GTA IV, and now the ADDON episodes oft liberty cities
the new ones just not as emersive, sure its improved the gameplay and graphics but its the charm that maybe gta standout from all the other sandbox games
@omgfwtfbbqdairyqueen "I know a place on the edge of the Red Light District where we can lay low. But my hands are all messed up, so you better drive brother."
@omgfwtfbbqdairyqueen ohh yes! i remember first playing this when i was like 11 or 12 at a friends house and i still remember how great the fist part of the game was XP

Craig Gray - Fade Away
Still one of my all time favorite songs.
My story behind this radio :

If anyone has heard the new Daft Punk Album yet. A lot of the vocals use the similar voice distortion effect found in the Craig Gray song from GTAIII.
This is Head Radio, A Love Media station, just one of nine hundred radio stations, three hundred TV stations, four networks, three satellites, ten senators...
thankyou, THANKYOU, Thankyou, -thankyou-
That bridge... that car...my computer ran it at about 5 fps but I loved every second of it.

K-Dst + Dust Storm + Las Venturas Desert = best thing ever.
"I need to go to the red light district so we can lay low.
But my hands are all messed up, so you'd better drive, brudha."
@viktorwikb lol i didnt know so many people got that same feeling when in that Kuruma driving of the ''Calihan Bridge'' with those songs playing in your ear NOSTALGIA
