The Godzilla Creepypasta (using Godzilla: Monster of Monsters for the NES, so the first one AVGN reviewed) came well after this AVGN Review. I imagine this review may have inspired the original writer to use that game in their story. And now, their exists an entire Fangame of the Creepypasta, and it improves on the NES's game mechanics itself.
Even having monsters from later movies like Ogra, SpaceGodzilla, Biollante.....I wanted to get the PS4 Godzilla game...but...Of course, they had to f**k that up, both happy and sad that I passed on that game
Those Xbox and PS2 era Godzilla games are the shit. The music for that montage of AVGN playing them is the freaking menu theme for Godzilla: Unleashed too. They went all out for those games.
You should check out his Godzillathon,if your very interested in watching the original Japanese films. They are a lot from 1954 to 2004. I recommend you start with Godzilla 1954 it has English Subs rather than Dubs,Godzilla Vs Mecha Godzilla 1974,Godzilla 1985,Godzilla 2000,Godzilla Vs Mecha Godzilla 2 1993,Godzilla Vs Destroyah 1994 and Lastly Godzilla Final Wars 2004.
Not so fun fact, the reason why "Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters (1995)" was never released outside of Japan is because it got canceled. They were planning to do it, but decided not to. What a cheap shot. That's like holding a steak in front of a lion, then yanking it away right when he's about to get it. Poor Nerd.
@@nintendoangel2478it probably wasn’t as popular in the states by that point and it was clearly before the resurgence following the botched american version
In the uncensored DVD version of this video, the made up curse word he invented is "Skunt" 😂
Thanks for this. I enjoyed it!
Glad to hear it!!!👍

it's very easy to not see the "the" after are, making you look like the avgn villain or evil clone if he ever had one
The Godzilla Gameboy game is actually a decent puzzle game.

But why? Did they think Godzilla wasn’t popular enough in the west or something?
