I'm not usually in to deathcore but I've always had a soft spot for this band--they write some catchy tunes, and they've gotten so much heavier and technical on the newer stuff. A good band evolves and gets better, so it's cool to see them do that.

the only problem I have with this band is the drummer seems like he cant keep up his kicks or blast beats live and the lyrics on every album are so cheesy
I get the lyrics dude, totally, but how is the drummer sloppy? I understand he isn't note for note paralleling the record, but he keeps well in my opinion.
IIRC Carnifex played at Brutal Assault two times. First time his kick drums were sloppy as hell. Few years later I started to see an improvement. Sure his kick drums are not perfect but his drum playing is OK. It is not annoying as it has been in the past. It is good to see that he knows his drawbacks and he's working on them. (y)
dude exactly, when i saw carnifex in prague with black dahlia murder, the drummer was so off it made me very sad, same with that particular first brutal assault show, i am not very good drummer, but i reckon back then i would make better job than him, after some years i can see he is getting better (like in this video for instance) but man....they were keeping playing with him for YEARS like this....

After melechesh carnifex was pretty boring. Deathcore can be lame sometimes
