Who cares about that shit? In terms of legitimate metal bands who actual metal fans like, At the Gates are about as popular as it gets. They're not on the same level as Metallica or whatever but that's inevitable. There are plenty of bands (particularly in the worlds of death and black metal) who will never come anywhere close to At the Gates in terms of popularity and influence. Slaughter of the Soul, for better or worse, is one of the most influential metal albums ever. To call this band underrated is laughable.

Talented band 95 when I got into them but his vocals are killing the band it's embarrassing
I'd say they are iconic. This band got me into "harsh vocal" metal and I cant imagine At The Gates with different vocalist.
He never sounded much different in earlier years. His voice is not the band's best asset, but he sounds like I'd expect on this performance.
