"Don't touch me ever, but especially right now." - Dan, the man whose body is magnetically attracted to Arin whilst in the throes of laughter.
omg what a way to describe something so accurate
Having a room full of producers and assistants all gasp simultaneously when Dan throws food onto something that's not supposed to have food on it really adds to the panic factor 10/10
I feel like when Dan does the chaotic thing it just really catches everyone off guard, they expect it from Arin
my favorite part is that theres another splat that just appears with no footage of it
@@jacobgarcia5402lmao yes
Its a very beautifully crafted smear too
EDIT: wow the pumpkin pie made it up there too huh 😂
hi
11:40 "I'm learning I have a much less sexual relationship with food than you do." And Dan literally wrote a song about fucking a sandwich, so that's really saying something
I liked your comment then realized in liking it I made it not funny anymore
And peppermint creams
I may have missed that one. What was the name of that song?
its an older song, objects of desire :) @@CertifiedDoc
@@katiedoodles No, that one was about fucking all kinds of inanimate objects. The sandwich specific one was The Ultimate Sandwich.
Arin's reaction to eating the pies is such a mood.
👍
Just like that
I don't like pie but I definitely feel that way while eating ribs 🤤
So amazing
Uhhhhhm don't know what to say about that
It's nice to see a 10-minute power hour where Dan is actually having a good time.
Despite all the beans, arin didn't terrorize Dan with his farting which is a plus
And Arin an even better one with the pies!
Easily the highest amount of Dan liking food on any 10MPH by far. And good on him for trying the spinach despite knowing he hasn't liked it in the past.
Even when he likes food, him covering his mouth and nodding makes it look like he hates it and is just trying to be polite.
Dan deserves this after, all of season 2
The fact that so far Dan likes most of these dishes just goes to show that he’s NOT as picky as I thought , Arin is just insane 😂
I think it's more that store stuff doesn't agree with Dan's palate much.
@@resileaf9501 I can definitely agree with that. Homemade food will always be better
@@resileaf9501well said. I think they should consider Dan a little more in this household.
Nah I can't forgive Danny for not liking sushi
@@brycephillips153He likes sushi, he just doesn't think it's very filling.
This episode made me realize how many cherished bands are actually Thanksgiving themed; Korn, Black-eyed Peas, Smashing Pumpkins...the list goes on.
Thanks for connecting the dots for us 👍
The cranberries 🤌🏻
Smashing Pumpkins??
Didn't they make an album that Arin loves??
Interesting dots being connected here
@@ninjathis3009 yeah he's big into it. I wish I could remember the name of it though!
Arin foodgasming over the pies is SUCH A MOOD lmao it's hilarious
You're 23 but you don't really act like it do you?
@@charlesplantewhere did that even come from?

It's so nice to see a food episode where our boys aren't perpetually suffering, they deserve a nice meal once in a while
Once in a while
Now let's get back to the bubble gum Mac n cheese
tbf the bucket ramen in that one episode slapped apparently
the dinosaur spewing out gravy was a bit of a jumpscare moment
Nah that's whole anxiety attack
Patterrnzz...
My seretonin has increased from Arin’s spiritual yet sexual experiences with desserts and Dan throwing a mid pumpkin pie at a whiteboard.
Dan making a joke, laughing to himself, starting to explain said joke and then giving up immediately will always be one of my favorite bits.
I love when they do an eating video because Arin is always the most excited at the start, and the most destroyed at the end.
Well in this case he was excited from start to finish :D
Lol yeah, it’s nice to see.
Lol yeah, it’s nice to see.
Lol yeah, it’s nice to see.
@@AverageAlaskan-AK3553Lol yeah, it's nice to see.
Can I just say how heartwarming it is to see Dan mostly enjoying a food-centric Power Hour for once?
You laugh, but take it from a Southerner: when Thanksgiving food is good it is REALLY REALLY good. Like ORGASMICALLY good. Arin's reactions are absolutely appropriate.
As a fellow southerner, I second this. Especially since we rarely have meals like that outside of Thanksgiving and Christmas.
@@thenovicenovelist As yet another fellow southerner, we have thanksgiving-like meals at least five times a week. LOL
@@scriptrixdeo This reminds me of food service when I was in college in Kentucky. I liked the food there because I mainly grew up on microwave soups, frozen pizza, grilled cheese sandwiches, or ramen noodles. So, I saw their options as really nice. But there were other people who hated it because they grew up enjoying home-cooked meals from parents or grandparents that knew how to cook and took their time with it. They saw food service as an abomination.
True so true.
On the other hand, when southern food isn't made well or is just bad, it's TERRIBLE. Okra in any form other than fried is an acquired sight/taste.
the decision to torch the sweet potato pie on a paper plate was crazy and i can't believe there wasn't more fire well done
Fyi the fire u see was actually edited in, so there wasn’t any actual fire (besides the torch itself), but still could have been a disaster 😂
if arin wasn't causing the chaos this episode somebody has to be
Idk if I've ever seen Dan eat so much food with enthusiasm and not disgust
I'm alone this thanksgiving, so I watched this while I ate dinner today and it made me feel a bit better. thanks guys.
Happy Thanksgiving fam
The lima beans sequence was chef's kiss. The reluctance, Dan's trickshot, Arin's sadness, applause, and the "there's a darkness inside of them"
Lima beans really are the worst bean.
Arin saying 'There's a darkness inside of them' while looking close to tears has made my top 10 grumps moments list
Dan enjoying food is a new experience
Arin enjoying food a bit too much is also a new experience
12:23 "I feel like I'm watching a mukbang" Now that Dan said it, I've realized that's probably untapped content potential for Arin
Props to their staff for making all this food. It looked really good.
10:07 "Very mature Arin" - Dan says from beneath his turkey hat.
Also Dan: Throws spinach at whiteboard.
Dan instantly shaming himself for the Black Eyed Peas joke was incredible
Arin even nailed the weird no reason boner at the dinner table, it's just LIKE THANKSGIVING
The gasp from the crowd when Dan slapped the spinach onto the whiteboard really elevated the intensity of the situation.
I love Dan's genuine "mm~ mhm!" He always says when he eats something he really enjoys
Im glad I'm not the only one who notices that 😊 it's so cute
The way he always makes sure to cover his mouth when there's food in it, even if all he's saying is "mmm, mhm" which does not require him to open his mouth whatsoever. 😂
Dan saying that the sugar pie is really good and then looking over at arin, who was in whichever circle of hell that people who indulge in pleasure go to, is a primo moment.
I've never seen the Grumps have an episode where they generally love the food they eat and give most high rankings. Something about that feels pretty heartfelt, actually :)
All the food was made with love this time instead of chaos.
Arin having a full blown foodgasam during the desserts was the highlight of this video!!!
I love the TMPHs where Arin eats. It's guaranteed to be a good time.
I disagree, Im really annoyed at this, just ranking vids every time or tier list, also, dan has a digestive issue, so he often cant eat the stuff so arin just has to eat it and dan give commentary, I already see that on game grumps, tmph should be stuff they do together but fuck me I guess
@@randomenvelopeyou're objectively wrong but ty for your opinion
@@n8o not an opinion if its objectively wrong.
@@randomenvelopei get it… im more upset with the food vids cuz of misophonia
@@randomenvelope in this case, it is.
Omg, hearing so many "wow, that's really good"s from Dan is such an incredible delight! I couldn't believe my ears
The thing with Dan rating food bc of taste vs. Arin rating it bc of texture made this make sense. I also have some texture issues with certain beans.
7:20 i love having the captions on because after dan gets the lima bean in his mouth there's like [APPLAUSE FOR THE BEAN BOY]
I noticed because of your comment, and then at 8:14 they had “sigh for heavy is the stomach of the one who wears the crown”
Everyone thinks I'm absolutely INSANE when I mention Corn Pudding, I'm so happy it was in this episode. It's my favorite dish, passed down from my great grandmother!
Corn pudding is AMAZING. I make it every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Corn pudding is 10/10 the best dish
This episode is an instant classic. How Arin feels about pies is how I am with mashed potatoes.
Honestly if anyone has problems with mashed potatoes they're just lying to themselves
@@sarang-archerreal
As an Australian the concept of sweet potato and marshmallows will forever be the strangest thing to me, but every time I see someone's reaction eating it it makes me want to try it more and more
As a southerner from the U.S. I can honestly say it's delicious.
It's an S-tier combo...do it.
Max Miller from Tasting History released a short recently about why cooking marshmallows with sweet potatoes became a thing. It supposedly started off as part of a marketing campaign from a marshmallow company. But the idea took off and now many places, primarily in the southern US, do it.
Give in to the temptations. Your life will never be the same, but in a good way.
Every country has that one food combination that makes every other country look at them sideways. The U.S. has multiple. It's sort of like how the rest of the world (except for the rest of the British Isles because they have marmite) looks at Australia funny for liking vegemite on things. We just don't get it, but there is a part of us that is curious to try it at least once just to see what it's like.
As the main Pie maker in a family of cooks, I am honestly appalled at the lack of apple pie but also completely relate to Arin’s love for the pies
Edit: I have been honored by my wonderful 6 year old cousin with the title of "Makes better pumpkin pie then costco and other stores" so I'm riding that high into the sun babyyyy
Apple is a must and honestly overlooked in the face of pies like pecan and pumpkin.
Now that's an achievement
Dan just telling Arin “Cathy’s watching!” made me laugh so hard.
Honestly, the way Arin enjoys pie is inspiring. Take all the moments you need man.
Hes so me
I love how genuine upset and distressed Arin gets when he doesn’t like the texture of something
Arin’s foodgasm with all the desserts 😂
1:25
fun fact, the good cranberry sauce (the pure jelly one) ISN'T made with a bunch of chemicals. It's just pureed cranberries, sugar, and I think water. It just naturally gels up when you add sugar to the cranberries, because of the reaction with the pectin found in cranberries
I understand Arin's emotions so clearly. I wish I could experience the joy he derives from those sweet potatoes.
Had the same experience eating sweet potato pie yesterday so I fully understand the man.
Dan actually being the one who likes the food is really fascinating. He just doesn't like the weird random shit Arin forces them to eat.
Thanksgiving at Arin's house must be very R-rated when it gets to dessert time
13:16 made me choke on my spit. Dan’s improv skills have aged like a fine wine
He's like a baby throwing their food
Dan chucking spinach onto the whiteboard was the most Arin thing I've seen, so far 🤣
As a midwesterner I am almost hurt that green bean casserole was like the one thing Arin was like “this is awful put it at the bottom of the list” lol
Me too. That’s my favorite thanksgiving dish
Right?? Green bean casserole is like the best thanksgiving side
it wouldn't be so bad if it was like "yeah it's the worst one, but it was still great!" personally i can't think of a single side dish that i would say is just *awful,* i hate squash but that's just because it weirds me out for some reason. im sure it doesn't actually taste bad.
4:22 Dan's like "I am 43..."
I appreciate the new profile picture you guys gave me! 💜🦃
Arin being a picky eater the episode in which Dan actually enjoys the food just goes to show how contrarian he is at heart 😂😂
Arin has been doing increasingly obscure KoRn references and I think he actually likes them lol
His wife, Suzy, is really into them so no wonder!
Sugar Pie represent!!!! Literally the king of depression era recipes and something I generally have to ease people into the idea of. Glad to see others loving it!!!!
every food TMPH brings Dan several steps closer to death from disgust and Arin several steps closer to death from eating things that may or may not poison him
Dan asking arin to not jizz while wearing a turkey hat while ALSO eating thanksgivings food is not something I thought I would ever need, but it has filled a void I never knew existed.
It makes me really happy that there are so many people down here having the same reaction, which is: it's nice to see Dan having a good time eating food.
The transition from laughter to pain at 8:07 is beautiful
It really, really made me smile to see Dan enjoy so much food! I know exactly what it's like to have horrendous GI problems, and it always made me sad to see him unable to eat so many foods (or just take teeny tiny bites). So, to both of the boys and their loved ones, and the entire crew at GG, I hope you all have a wonderful, relaxing and delicious Thanksgiving! 🦃💕
Damn I can't believe that there's only 3ish episodes left of Season 2.
The turkey hat at 11:50 🤣🤣🤣
I think this is the first food related power hour I've seen where Dan actually had more than a bite of one object the entire time and liked it
Because it wasn't weird shit Arin shoved in his face lol
It's awesome to see the boys just having a dang good time
Seeing arin (a southern born guy) lose his shit over yhe desserts is fucking hilarious
After the discussion Arin and Dan had about whether or not Arin identifies as a Californian or Floridian, this episode makes me think of an old saying that goes "You can take the boy out of the country but you can't take the country out of the boy."
I'm a southerner too. I break a lot of southern stereotypes and most southerners don't consider me to be a "real" southerner because of it. But at the end of the day I still love canned cranberry sauce and there's no such thing as too much gravy on mashed potatoes 😆.
@@thenovicenovelist same here! Born in Oklahoma, raised in Alabama, but I am very much NOT a southerner.
But goddammit I'm living in Colorado rn and I MISS SOUTHERN SOUL FOOD
This might be the first episode of the power hour where arin actually enjoyed most if not all the food proud of him
My favorite thing about this episode is that the watch/replay rate is collectively higher starting at the dessert time. Everyone is rewatching Arin and his *love* of food 😂❤️
To anybody who can't see family members for Thankgiving, have complicated relationships with family, or who are spending the holiday alone, I see you. I hope you have a good holiday anyway. 🙂
You're so sweet!
I got broken up with this afternoon and this made me crack smiles when I didn’t think I could, always appreciate you guys
Wishing you all the best and I hope your life turns out far better in the future.
Hope things turn around for you soon. ❤
It's strange seeing Dan actually enjoy eating the food given to them on the Power Hour. So happy for him
Arin’s reaction to Pecan Pie is 100% me
Dan's 'sTOP LET ME GET THROUGH THE FACT' as Arin attacks the pimento cheese is what broke me
I said this before, but I can imagine the final TMPH as a gauntlet of Dan and Arin doing every activity followed by eating all the various foods, which leads to the finale where they eat David Cheeseman and probably going to the hospital
Eating david cheeseman could ACTUALLY kill them, for real.
Given how insanely busy Arin and Danny have been this year- what with the Tournament of Gamers, new NSP Album, Scribble Showdown, L.A. Comic Con (etc.)- I wonder when this episode was _actually_ filmed.
11:13 did he just cast a spell
@2:17 Hush puppies were a southern slave creation to eat while escaping plantations, and also distract the tracking dogs that were chasing after them. Throwing the fried cornmeal at them would "hush" their barking while they sniffed around and ate them. Hence the name...
I’m having thanksgiving by myself this year so now I don’t feel so alone :)
It's where we Americans celebrate a made up story about native Americans sharing a meal with pilgrims when they were starving.
@@kylekinsey2624it's about bringing people together from all walks of life to share just great food together. Origins don't matter anymore
As an American I can say
Americans just like any excuse to get together eat a bunch and drink a bunch and fireworks
@@kylekinsey2624I don’t actually like the holiday- I just love thanksgiving food
I was in tears the entire pie segments. Arin's reactions were priceless XD
I love seeing Dan actually enjoying eating new food for a change •w• it’s really nice … also Arin moaning is funny …
wow i was expecting most of the food to be mid, but it's clear i just haven't stepped up my thanksgiving dinner game enough. big ole biscuits, brie, and devilled eggs might be making it onto the menu next year! (not this year tho bc my mom's doing thanksgiving dinner, and i am Very Appreciative)
this is just them enjoying a nice meal together as friends, this is lovely
Danny at 3:04 is an absolute mood. XD
Arin eating the pies had me DYING 💀💀💀💀💀💀
Theres a few things my family also eats at thanksgiving, mini pickles, black olives and celery with peanut butter and cream cheese on them, and the normal, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, turkey, gravy, potato salad and sometimes macaroni salad
Arin's reaction properly reflects what people on a diet experience when they get dessert on thanksgiving
I'll be making some of these in the next few days and I can not wait. Unsurprised that Arin relishes most of these but Dan approving of the majority of them was pleasantly surprising.
"It tastes great, but I just hate the way they feel."
NEVER HAVE I RELATED TO SOMETHING SO HARD IN MY LIFE
green bean casserole is one of my favorite things about thanksgiving!
It's a good dish, though it probably needed salt cause Ike didn't taste it
Remember kids: if your family doesn't have that drunk uncle who shows up late to thanksgivin it's because YOU are the drunk uncle
03:32 - "I hereby pronounce your hungry & meal. You may now eat the bride."
i really struggle with chewing sounds (there are times when i can't eat because the sound of myself chewing is too awful) and i use these as exposure therapy
that ending really tested me that was horrible 👏👏👏
i never thought i would haveso much in common with arin when it comes to cheese
I don't know why Arin's reactions to desserts cracked me up so hard
i love that dan is more open to the word mukbang, compared to his initial reaction to hearing it for the first time
9:30 Arin is literally me everytime anything potato touches my mouth
"That is an appropriate amount of gravy for that amount of potatoes!"
Arin is my spirit animal.
YAYYY! Happy thanksgiving! Much love to all who or who don’t celebrate!❤️
I wonder how their tummy's were after this? Arin is probably like those asmr hydraulic press machines and could handle almost anything, whereas Dan is probably like a can of opened flat soda and the food is like a mixture of baking soda and vinegar plopping in.
12:28 yeah
I'm pleased by the return of cute hats
This was a really good episode, loved all the laughter in the background. It brings a good energy to the 10MPH
something about Arin having a literal transcendent moment with almost all of the deserts just made me laugh so much. Like dude was busting a nut the entire time lol
