Thanks for a great recap of your 1st day on Camino Frances! I'm glad you are doing the Camino your way. It brought back wonderful memories of my own Camino Frances pilgrimage back in 2018. I started at the end of April and there were so many people there, so much more traffic than what I see on your video....I agreed with you wholeheartedly when you mentioned that there was a lot of humidity compared to Northern California (I lived in San Jose for 20 years). Anyway, Buen Camino to you and your wife!
Thanks, Great memories of this part of the camino. I did it this past October and I took the same downward part you did to Roncevalles and it was covered in fallen leaves almost to my hips. Your description of the climb was great. Buen Camino
What a great first day! Thank you for making it so clear what it's like to walk that first day over the Pyrenees. I was happy to finally see the mysterious alternate forest path down into Roncesvalles. I think there's not much video online about it because everyone says DON'T GO THAT WAY IT'S STEEP AND SCARY. I'm very glad you guys took that path less travelled :) Buen Camino!
Thank you for making this wonderful video, great tips.
You are so welcome!
Fellow NoCal. Multiple Caminos. You guys really cover a lot of distance in a day. Enjoying your videos. Gonna keep watching. BC!
Thank you for following along!! Hope you enjoy the rest of the vids.
