Can you explain what you mean when you say heat as in "the heat from it is gone..." I have heard you say that before and I know it is associated with being young but is there a verbal translation for the sensation? Or should I wait until my first batch is done and see for myself? Lol
So all alcohol has some sort of heat. If you think about the burn you get from a cheap whisky or spirit compared to an expensive one - that is what I mean by heat. Heat is simply the amount of burn or feeling you get from the alcohol. Over time this will decay as the mead matures and the flavors meld!
@@ManMadeMead That makes absolute sense. Thanks a lot. My first brew I think is finished I will check it tomorrow and I am looking forward to seeing what it needs and what steps I will take next. Your videos have been very helpful. I appreciate them very much.
Weird. I would imagine coffee blossom honey tasting more like the fruit the plant produces which is more of a berry and not roasty as that's the process humans put the "bean" or seed of the fruit through.
Bro a block buster shirt!
Wow!! Very excited about this mead .
Sounds delicious. Will add to my list of meads. Thank you so much..
You should try it!

I wonder how the acidity was? The coffeemel I've had was fairly acidic but not killer.
It really wasnt that acidic!

What made you go for a lower abv for this?
The fact that I didn’t have a lot of the honey honestly! Hha

It’s one of my favorites too!

I'm extremely skeptical that there will be any coffee flavor at all from coffee blossom honey.
Honestly it’s not like tasting coffee exactly but it definitely has a roasty-ness that coffee has!
@@ManMadeMead Interesting. Mind if I ask where you found that honey?
