Thats nice to see how Ryan's projects are evolving into full production sized machines.🙂

Thank you for watching. It was a long road with lots of inspiration and help from the Buster Beagle 3D Facebook group members so I'm happy that it's finally becoming a thing I can share with others.

Keep up the good work, Hopefully I can make a mold to fit this thing when I end up with one.

I'm sure you can do it. If you need a template to work off of as far as fitting to this pneumatic vise you can find the .STEP model of my mold as well as the mounting plates here: drive.google.com/file/d/1bCfr18MPXTCHAcfktqNMCXvIIDrIIGnT/view?fbclid=IwY2xjawFIo3hleHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHboRNLZyyFTepl9UKMmn9Xgyo2zBLkBe_ZzcG-VezlrZ2e5lml__SMm5EQ_aem_oqPxbmYYWaETBBZXY0K6hg

@@BusterBeagle3D Thank you so much, I just saw this. Do you machine your own molds for this vise or are you using an online service? I suspect my cnc machine vise will be too small for this job.

@ I personally have used a service just to make the mold blank so I could CNC or Laser my own design onto it. I used JLC CNC to make my blanks for me.

ok, spinning the cylinder but not the hexnuts is an odd choice 🙂

When working with Fiver you need to pick and choose your battles. Plus the pneumatic cylinder does need to be spun because the plate it goes into is threaded.

This is raising a ton of questions that I'm sure would be answered soon but in between...
MK4? Is that a new version of the overall frame? Or just the version of the vise? But then did I miss I, II and III?
    How is is actuated?
How does it fit with Mk3 frame?
I'm sure will get a intro/usage video soon so looking forward to it! :)

Hello. More info and videos coming shortly but for now it's being called the MK4 just because the MK3 was the manual machine and this is the first step towards a full automatic machine. If you have seen my previous videos I already had the machine running full auto but it was with an expensive vise I bought off of eBay that I repurposed and this is the first step towards a build that allows anyone to start to automate the machine. This works with the pneumatic cylinder pushing down on the plates like a scissor lift to push the mold plates together. There is also a smaller pneumatic cylinder in the front used for part ejection. If you look at the .pdf in the video description you can also see how I attached it to the current MK3 frame. Like I said previously there is more to come but this is somewhat step one needed for automation and my attempt to make that accessible to others.
