My concern with all of these aftermarket ZL1 skirts is they seem to be hollow on the bottom. The real ZL1 skirts are flat on the bottom. I find it hard to believe the aftermarket ones don't add lift and drag as compared to the true ZL1 skirts. But I can't find anything on this topic... (2ss 1le inbound at 3400)

Does a ZL1 side panel have more aggressive look than a RS/SS?
Do these side rockers fit exactly like a ZL1? Do you have side by side comparison photo of a non-zl1 VS zl1 installed side rockers
The ZL1 has a flared front portion of the side skirt as it is 1/2” wider than a SS or LT. They look like a ZL1s side flares, but do not make your fenders wider to 100% match an actual ZL1
I know I'm 2 years late but how close does this look to the zl1 side skirts?
They look better and cost less than the ACS composite siderockers. I just payed $524 shipped when I could have payed $240 instead. Good thing I have not opened the box, I'm returning the ACS and getting these. And no drilling holes! Great!
Edit- I have to pay a 15% restocking fee. I have not even opened the box. Thanks, Phastek.
I will say, these will pop and fall off over time. They will require maintenance over the ACS setup. The way they attached is just not that great. I only say this now as I have been around 3 cars that have these and they are constantly popping off.

do you think you could add additional rivets similar to the ACS version instead of the tape or goop?

Okay Im seeing some people recommend the tape and others recommend the goop. Sounds like you recommend the tape because of install. But will it last over time is the concern I have?
No. It’s truly terrible no matter what way you go. I’d almost use RTV
What paint did Maplefed (hope that is his name haha) use to paint his calipers? I want my 1LE with that same exact color :o

The product is nice. I just wish it mounted on the top side a bit better. Overall it doesn't require any holes into the car, so that's a win.

@@Lethalgarage o yeah.... The tape and screws dont hold up???i was thinking buying new 3m foam tape and maybe sum high quality screws... What dont you like about them.. Not mounting correctly? Too long? Too short? Think i might be better off getting some from EOS ?????

@@Lethalgarage ok if thats all that might be an easy fix... Its alot of knockoff 3m tape out there... Gonna get the real deal and kinda overkill it with enough tape. Also 3m has an adhesion promoter that should be used..

I take it that no side skirts will work with the Chevy OEM rock guards
Not that Im aware of. I have the OEM rock guards and I had to slightly modify the ACS Composite side skirts to make them fit. They are expensive, but very high quality. Great product and perfect fit.

I saw your ACS side skirt installation on the white Camaro, In your opinion as both are after market which one has the better quality, fit, finish and which one follows the line of the Camaro well enough. I don't want a skirt to be sticking outside too much. Does the American Authority come painted gloss black?.

I liked the ACS and C7Carbon setup equally. I was not a fan of the AA setup, mainly on how it installs.
