This convicted me to come clean about something I thought was so small as far as infidelity before my wife and I even got engaged. But I allowed it to fester and eat at me in the dark. I would lie to myself and say it was small but the truth is the longer I kept it in the dark the bigger it became. I gave the devil a foothold… I feel sorry and asking my wife for forgiveness as we rebuild from here in the midst of other healing needed… and I am so glad I am now free of EVERYTHING that I had kept from my wife. Thus setting US free! Free to really grow closer as one now. God thank you for this man’s obedience!

The moment you talked about wetting the bed as a result of the sexual abuse you experienced hit me like a ton of bricks. I also suffered sexual abuse from a male cousin at the age of 5. I can remember struggling with wetting the bed for a long time and I was punished harshly because of it. I felt something break free for me being able to connect those dots and know that I was not broken because I wet the bed. Thank you.

Man! This is why I love Tim Ross! Just completely raw and holy! He understands we are in a time critical conversations are necessary, especially around sexuality and sex in marriage! I never forgot when Tim said he and Juliette put porn to shame! I knew he was gone be alright with me then! I grew up Pentecostal as a PK. Trust me when I say, Tim is on point!!! I listened to the podcast while patrolling all night. This pod hit hard in a ton of ways. Tim I feel like you answered every question that people think about concerning the area of purity, lust, masturbation and porn. Key thing you harked on was that we don’t talk about these things enough in the church concerning sex. You alls transparency creates a safe space for people to heal, grieve, process and progress in my opinion. We must normalize the conversation again within its context of how God designed it within a holy matrimony.
I would like to hear a conversation between Pastor Tim Ross and Bishop TD Jakes. That would be interesting.

I’m so grateful for this podcast, I can’t stop laughing and crying and learning when I listen to your episodes lol. I’m growing spiritually due to the conversations being had that I’ve never heard from spiritual leadership and in a modern fresh way that is refreshing and everything I think is literally how Tim thinks. Overcoming lust by starving it was deep I thought that’s how I could defeat impure thoughts, I also was abused as a child and it was done by people in the church as a pk. Church hurt and trauma could’ve been my excuse to keep running from God but he’s arrested my life and is doing something in me that I’ve never allowed before. I just want to thank you Tim for everything you are doing and this time platform. You all are hilarious 😂 and I look up to you as a 35 yr old single father. Thank you for your obedience and faith. I needed you in this season and you have been a saving factor in my life.
For me it was that bit where you talked to "Krista" touched a nerve. As you talked about shame I felt tears come to my eyes. Then as you talked about extending grace to her little girl, I felt the Holy Spirit tag me. Guess me and Him have some work to do. Thanks Tim!❤️

You give answers backed up by scripture that has truly been freeing me. Tonight’s episode, you touched so many points on singleness, masturbation and sex that gave me answers I been needing answers from. I now understand that in order to be free from lust I must desire to walk in purity. The moment you said, don’t make your clit your god!! I lost it! Never thought of it that way. I missed the live but this was so good for me you hit soooooo many things for me! Recovering liar, masturbation, porn have all been things I had to work through. I just recently shared with my mom after 30 years that I was molested at 6 by my female babysitter. Definitely takes work and God to get through it

58:14-59:27 took me out LOL. I should not laugh, but it's true. I was at a church like that for a few years. Same thing happened to them with the decline and their family is the church now, with a solid 10-12 members every Sunday. Really unfortunate and sad state to be in.
This man really hit the ground running and hasn't stopped yet. He gives us more understanding of him without interviews and negative antics he just shows us who he is through the Recovery. Hey Tim, I’m a gamer when I’m on COD (Call of Duty) more and more guys are on here saying “I am Him”, and “I am a demon”, when something they have done seems good. I try not to listen to them in a literal sense but, something in my spirit tells me no that demon is serious, how can I respond to this?

I believe in the power of words and the spirit and Holy Spirit behind them.
See the thing is that’s a easy way out. What some may say is, yes the community is toxic and I do not need to associate with these type people, I can get rid of game, I can mute my mic, I can mute the game, play in silence, and use the platform the gaming company wants me to use it as. Or, what I am asking; is there a way to simply pour into a nonbeliever in these communities that doesn’t sound like the lion but as the lamb.

As you were talking about patience in the first 30 min, I got this vision in my head of a slingshot. Without patience, when we're trying to launch (into anything), it's like pulling back on the slingshot, but only until you feel the first sign of resistance & then let go. How far will that get you? You're probably going to fall in the same spot you're standing in. But when you talk about 17 years of preparing, of pulling back on that slingshot, how far will you go once released? Probably further than you even thought was possible. And of course, it's not comfortable pulling back for that long & the resistance is probably exhausting, but necessary to get where you need to go. SO. Good! I am someone who has never been a fan of patience, but that conversation blessed me. Thanks!
Regarding the discussion about demons & whether or not believers can have them, I've been searching for over an hour to find some good content on this, but can't find it right now. Emma Stark is a prophet from Scotland & she's done a lot of great teachings on deliverance ministry. She says the original words that were later translated to "possession" in the Bible, didn't actually mean possession. She says that believers & non-believers aren't literally possessed by demons. They live on the flesh & yes can influence you as Tim was saying. Some people are definitely more demonized than others. But Christians can also need deliverance from demonic influence.

My Wife and I are going through a temporary separation. I have Broken a lot of trust in the past with pornography and just not putting my best effort forward in our marriand so I've been living on my brother's couch for a month and a 1/2 wants to start marriage counseling before we come back together but every time we try and start It blows up in our face we don't have a church that seems to Want to or know how to help our pastor cancels right before every session. I need help I don't know what to do if I need to go somewhere else I just need to know where.
