@nowinterweather Jimi Hendrix said it man... "Sometimes you want to give up the guitar, you'll hate the guitar. But if you stick with it, you're gonna be rewarded."...he couldn't have been more right...those bad days will soon subside and you will be playing what you hear in your head all the time...and those bad days will be because you had to take a longer break from playing that you would have liked or whatever...just keep with it man..we've all been there...Good luck with your playing!

You've got a drummer here, who watches your vids and listens to your commentary with relish. I wish more of my friends, especially the younger and part timers, could see your vids. I don't hesitate to tell them about your site. Good work

as much as i appreciate the lessons for song licks(purchased TEXAS FLOODS & ALBERT KING)the phrasing lessons have given me new ideas.i'm sure there are elements of all of the lessons you teach,in 'phrasing',but i was kinda hitting a wall and just these simple,to the point basics have gotten me back on track.always enjoy your instruction.o know this has been said by others, but your lessons have gotten me back to playing again.not just playing but playing lead.always wanted to do that.thanx

@Gooshgooshasdqwe123 In this video I'm running a Samamp VAC 23 1x15 combo into an AxeTrak isolation cabinet. Very little processing other than reverb added to the track.

Really helpful video and a great concept teaching-wise. Like, I suspect, many other student players, I find myself getting totally overloaded with theory when I'm trying to solo. Maybe a few years from now I'll remember which note is the major 4th of the 4 chord and so on and so forth, but for now all I really need to know is which notes sound good over which chords in each box. Thank you for keeping it simple :-)

Hey Anthony, I've had a bit of a problem with my playing lately. Some days, my improvisation will be great (the licks sound resolved and are put together in a way that makes sense, bends and vibrato sound good, etc.), and some days it's pretty awful. I understand that bad days are inevitable, but I seem to have them more of them than good days. Is there anything I can do to help turn that around?

Hi question, would these licks still keep the flow in box 1? I've been playing them both based off the ideas you introduced to me in the tutorial and they sound fine but I'm not sure

@gr8bluesgtr Could you post an EQ and reverb setting for this clip on garageband or whatever DAW you use..?
    I need your help, too.

i thought this was the 4 note "house" pattern that you see all over youtube( b 7th on second string)-bluesguitarunleashed.com is the best guy to explain it-GRIFF next up the neck is the major sound of the B.B. BOX(Root on the second string)
