Such a great vid. I was getting frustrated with the base, and the solution (easing the piece in then hitting it on the ground) got my chair assembled AND let me vent!
Could you please tell me if the plastic covers are very important? I can't take it out again. I sat down on the chair and I guess that really made it stick. My chair is ready but without the plastic covers
I can't get those feet to lock in. I've tried jumping on the base. Rubber mallet. Hitting it on my basement floor as shown in the video. Got the 1st one, went to do the second and the 1st fell off. Idk what to try next. Any suggestions?

Thanks for this assembly video. The only thing I wound up doing differently was I put the hinges on the seat back first and then onto the seat.

I had to stand on top of it and put all of my body weight on top of it a couple times I weigh 145lbs
The legs on mine stay stuck at a 45 degree angle. I have the ls6657B. Think I'll be eturning this chair.

that chair was a little HARDER to put together than i thought.. for some reason my dumb ass thought it would come assembled
