- In this short spotlight video we see what the new Mechabellum Fire Badger unit is capable of. You can see how the technologies work.
The Fire badger is a smaller version of the Vulcan and does well against especially crawlers. Against other light units like mustangs and fangs it does very well but the Fire Badgers range is a bit low and it needs to move forward in order to connect.
The fire badger is a RARE unit and you can only get it from the free unit drops. Once you have chosen it, you can recruit more of them.

The rare unit can be unlocked by picking it from a free unit pack. After you pick it, you can build them. The unit will be available in the game on Thursday!

that napalm upgrade is absolutely disgusting for anything that isnt a giant, i love it and long ranged

Looks like the new units dont have really new features, just a mix of existing stuff. Does this make sense?
Especially for beginners it will be even more confusing and hard to learn.
yea they overlap previous roles very heavily. I guess that's why they are rare because they wouldn't fit in the normal lineup yet.
hmmm... I guess the point is to get them leveling early and then its your front line meat?
its only 200 cost, so i think its just about farming 1-2 pack of crawlers for free and then basically you get a discounted high hp frontline. Probably good unit to flank with also
isn't a vulcan now obsolete?
There's always giant spec. But yeah, wraiths have been feeling better for me after the 200 cost unlock. Fire badger also good but vulcan certainly has more use cases
