I had heard as the trailers single/double wide come available the Villages company tries to buy them to eliminate them and build stick built homes !

Hi Daniel, I heard the same a year or so ago. Recently I heard that they are all hands on deck in the southern oaks section of the villages south of HWY 44 and are holding off on buying manufactured homes and building stick builts in their place. I also heard the plan is to revisit that project at a later date. All of this was just hearsay, so I don't know if there is any truth to it!
