So many years passed and only now I discovered that this soundtrack exists in the game! This sounds amazing!!! Honestly, really hard to tell that it's a HL soundtrack. Sounds more like some dark ambient and out of general HL OST. If the name fits the chapter title, then I'll be honest I've never heard it in the game (or just didn't pay attention). Now, knowing this, it adds some dark tones to the location... I think it would fit perfectly, if the plot was that when you teleport from Nova Prospekt to Kleiner's lab, you would find it completely abandoned and destroyed with just the dim daylight illuminating it, there is some vegation already inside, with water dripping from destroyed ceiling with this playing...
The music plays quietly in kleiner's lab when you first enter it. I simply went into audacity and played with the settings a little until I got it to sound a little different and more clear. Listening closely I can hear some feint vocals. The track in game is actually from something called the "Zero G - Altered States" sample pack, which is a collection of professionally made samples from other packs. (I think Cuckooland - unhinged and various other soundpacks). This same track is actually used in another classic late late 90s game called 'Nocturne'. In the sample library, this track is actually refered to as "Jungle Fire". Purchasing that sound library has been one of the most mind-blowing things I've done, because you will recognize so many of the samples used in other media. A sizable portion of the half life 1 sound track was made with the same library.
@@GabeMiller2SpoonsOfDoom I have a Perfect sound file Of This music. In the Hammer Editor inside of the Half-life2 folder, i went to make a soundscape and i put the Soundscape to " E3_lab.LabSounds ", You can hear this music and Basically I just recorded it.
This gives me hope, peace, and justice. Freeman destroyed the citadel and freed the citizens under the Combines rule. You know, truly the right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world. Thank your for uploading this.

Thats why I said it was altered. I Just thought it sounded cooler pitched up. The loop isn't even good lol. Didn't think it needed anything else.
