Wow, I dont think I will ever be a hair stylist (actually I am a software engineer), but I feel like I have heard one of the best lessons in communication. Top notch stuff!
My man dropping nuggets of gold right here. I opened my barbershop a year ago and I'm becoming slowly more and more busy (sometimes I still have slow days like today) but I went with the longer road that's exactly what you've talked about. Being someone who cares and actually speaks with the client. I'm still perfecting it and I did also learned a lot with the video but I can say this works because I know for a fact that I retain most os my clients.
I just shared this with my daughter; she is 26 and is a new barber, just 1 year since being licensed. She is extremely talented and has so much potential. Thank you for this!
This is extremely useful information for haircutters. I swear to god, nobody shares anything like that for free.. Your channel is like a golden mine 🙏 Hello from Russia 🇷🇺
watching this before I go into a very busy day of work. Thank you so much Andrew for all of the knowledge and experience you provide for us your subscribers. I was put on to you by one of my fellow barbers, Jesse Lopez.
I remember when you were at the crossing in corona charging 15-20 a cut taking walk ins. I think that was back in 2009? By far my favorite hair artist, came back until the wait was months out and being a procrastinator that was to much planning ahead lol
you are so professional, everything you said is true, i've been cutting hair for a while, and my first boss literally told me everything you told in this video, love from Romania
Holy cow this is everything. Good job bro. And loved the doesn’t come from the jar reference haha. Can’t wait to share this video- oh wait, I didn’t wait...just shared it 👍🏼
This is like gold bro. I'm only in cos school and I can tell that! And you're humble dude. Definitely one of my favorite "mentors." Can you tell us what some of those other RUclips channels are that teach hair that YOU trust?
Andrew, you make great sense. Can you please recommend a hairdryer? I'm an older guy with a good head of hair which has always been fine and hard to manage. BTW I have shared your video. Thanks.
The best dryer I’ve ever used is a Babyliss Pro Rapido. That’s what I use on the daily now. However, at about half the price you can get 4/5 the performance out of an “original Super Solano.”
CARE ABOUT THE PERSON IN YOUR CHAIR 🙌🙌🙌🙌 love this.
As a beginner barber this is brilliant information

How come this guy seems shy and charismatic at the same time
😂 because that's actually a good way of describing him

Wonderful advice, as always.

Thank you for the tips Andrew, will definitely try to think more about it when cutting clients.
