2017 Audi Q7 TFSI 2.0 Noise When Drivers Door Open Side P2681 P00B7 Thermostat Replacement FIXED

2017 Audi Q7 TFSI 2.0, 4 Cylinder. Orginally had Check Engine Light for code P2681 (Engine Coolant Bypass Valve Control Circuit Open). I cleared the code and it came back a few days later. When the light came back it also had a CEL P00B7(Manufacturer Control) which put the car in limp mode to protect the engine.
There was a motor sound that could be heard from the engine bay when the drivers door was opened. It sounds like a back and forth. This sound was coming from the motor inside the thermostat.
Replacing the thermostat fixed the car and also fixed the sound when the door was opened.
Honestly not a bad job, fairly straight and forward. Need a short and longer set of torques bits. An eletric ratchet was very helpful.
