Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy is a first and third-person shooter action game set in the Star Wars universe. It was developed by Raven Software and published, distributed and marketed by LucasArts in North America and by Activision in the rest of the world. Jedi Academy was released in September 2003 and received positive reviews, achieving an 81% aggregate score. In September 2009, the game was re-released along with its 3 predecessors through Steam and Direct2Drive.
Jedi Academy is powered by the same version of the Quake III Arena engine used in its predecessor, Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, containing modifications to the Quake code to include lightsaber combat. In a new feature to the series, the player can modify the character's gender and appearance, and can construct a lightsaber by choosing the hilt style and blade color.
The player takes control of the character Jaden Korr, a student at the Jedi Academy under the tutelage of Kyle Katarn. The player must complete various missions assigned to them by Kyle Katarn and Luke Skywalker. There is a multiplayer mode that allows the player to play against other people over a network.

They should combine this combat style with the story of KOTOR. Now that would be legendary.
i disagree, combining it with Outcast would be legendary
Inevitable The combat style in Outcast and Academy were pretty much the same except for the special lightsabers in Academy and a few extra powers.
+[Xander] If you have ever played them and compared, Jedi Outcast stands out much more. Firstly, there are no special moves (except 1 for each style), making combat alot more challenging than just doing some Kata special move to kill a jedi oppotent. The lack of moves, makes the player actually use strategy and use their own moves, rather than stick to some cheap "Forward Slash" move. The rather lack of Force Powers such as Absorb, Rage, Protect and Drain, also gives the player more challenge. The extra lightsaber styles (Duals and Staff) are also alot more powerful compared to the original lightsaber, making them pretty cheap. The duals are pretty much the Medium style with a faster swing and a longer range, combined with twice as much damage as the default Medium style, which makes them a very cheap lightsaber style to use. In Jedi Outcast, you have no moves, no extra styles. Just 3 different lightsaber styles (even just 1 style in the first part of the game), a few force powers and that's it, which makes for more challenging gameplay.
I agree its more challenging but the average player isnt really gonna know the difference as the style system is pretty confusing and so are all the special moves.
+[Xander] The special moves are all very easy with just either push Mouse buttons at the same time or something like Crouch + Attack. My main problem with the game is, the inclusion of dual sabers and extra force powers like Force Protect, makes it pretty cheap. I was able to get through every force user enemy by just getting force protect and using the dual sabers Crouch Special Move which is very over powered and deals lots of damage in seconds, usually killing whatever enemy was on your way. In Jedi Outcast, there are no extras and neither of your abilities feel too powerful nor too weak. You feel like you have the correct powers at every time. In the early levels where you don't really face too much reborns and your powers are weak, it feels balanced as you are not going to deal with Shadowtroopers, yet. Later on, when you face alot more powerful reborns, you get more powerful but so do your enemies, keeping the balance. The lunge and death over above moves are useful at times and aren't too powerful like the dual sabers in JKA. The level design in JKA feels a bit too "static". Levels are designed, just so you encounter more reborns. There is no exploration or any interesting things in it's level design, as there was in JK2 I love both games but in comparision, Jedi Outcast stands much more in its gameplay and level design.
Oh God i want a new jedi knight game. The story was decent but i LOVED THE GAMEPLAY! The lightsaber action was the best ever. Not a SINGLE new star wars game can compete with this lightsaber action.
It treated the lightsaber as the truly lethal weapon that it is.
I can still remember my disappointment upon hearing Obi Wan for the PC was cancelled like it was yesterday. It was supposed to be a spiritual successor to the original Jedi Knight. Though it may have turned out crappy anyways for several reasons...screw you, Xbox.
it has the best saber combat out of all star wars games but mods really improved on it
Really? Mods pushing the combat even further? I must try this! =O
well youre gunna get it now lol
Best part about Jedi Academy is the Moviebattles 2 mod. It replaces the multiplayer entirely with maps and characters from the movies while completely revamping saber combat. It's still active to this day and the changes to saber combat are incredible.
There is also a single player version called movie duels 2.
Id say it didnt remove stuff from saber combat in jedi academy so much as added onto it i still can do my old jedi academy lightsaber moves but can also do new ones too now.
And no mention of multiplayer which is still going lol
Wait what!
@@cloudsombrero and even now still bud
@@ShaunBonJovi jedi movie battles mod fukin awesomeness
the online multiplayer is still active in 2019.
2021 still active?
@@n0nsens33 2020 was, i haven't played it this year yet, but I would assume so. some servers were full back in Nov of last year. Check it out, it's a great game.
@@aaronenix6418 dude did you need to buy jedi academy on steam to play this mod online? Cuz i didnt bought the game
@@n0nsens33 I'm not sure. I bought it on steam and it works, but I'm guessing that it if your using the latest version of the game it might be compatible, but that would only last until the mod is update again. I'd just buy to game, can't be too much now. It came out in like 2003 or something. Hope this helps, brother!
@@aaronenix6418 ok imma go fill my Steam Wallet LETSGOOOO, i wanna buy this game but i was like (its 2003 is it possible they had the multiplayer) but turns out *Y E S* btw man you got discord? Maybe we can play each other
With one mod, you can play the Jedi Outcast campaign in the Jedi Academy engine.. It's perfect.. You get the improved lightsaber combat, but with Outcast's far superior level design, and story.
You remember what the mod is/was called?
I’m also interested in the mod name.
Wish there was a mod that allowed you to play Academy in Outcast, so you could choose if you wanted to play in fucking 3rd person or not. Hate that shit.
The stupidest line in this game is when the Twi'lek henchwoman of Tavion calls Luke "That sneaky little Jedi" for going to Degobah after Hoth. Isn't Luke like 40 years old at this point, and this young bimbo has the nerve to call Luke a "little Jedi"? It sucks that while the game features the kind of gameplay I've wanted from a Star Wars and Dark Forces game, its story is very weak in comparison to Mysteries of the Sith, Jedi Knight's expansion.
@@NarutoninjaXV no both of you miss the point, she's fallen to the dark side, everyone is " a sneaky little Jedi" when they do something without telling everyone.
@@yarpen26 Tavion is garbage, but Alora is supposed to represent what could become of the player character, if they fell to the dark side. Even then she is a pretty terrible character because she only exists for symbolism.
@@Aistis1918 Sort of. I admit, MotS is rather episodic in its structure, and Mara Jade's personality is somewhat different in the game than how she was in the EU novels. MotS also made the mistake of concentrating more on its multiplayer maps than its singleplayer ones. There were times I wanted MotS to be longer, incorporate more what made Dark Forces great, and expand more upon the subplot of Kyle's fall to the dark side. Still, it's one of the best expansions from the classic era, and it did a good job expanding on what made Jedi Knight great. Jedi Academy does a lot of things right gameplay-wise, and I like the basic plot behind Tavion and Ragnos. I just think that the Tavion plot was a missed opportunity, because I thought Tavion had the potential to be a unique and interesting villain after Kyle spared her. Then again, the villains in Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy, apart from Desann, weren't quite as strong as Jerec and his Seven Dark Jedi from JK, or General Mohc from the original Dark Forces.
@@Aistis1918 I understand. Back in the day when I first played it, I was disappointed with how the SIth Temple's exterior didn't match the cool concept art in MotS's manual and on the install screen. I would've liked to have seen the swamp level have some more scenic locations. I personally love the design of the Sith Temple and the Sith Temple Catacombs... but that was after I learned how to properly kill the Vornskrs. The way the Vornskrs spammed their leap attacks used to make me think them unkillable. I like the Sith Temple Catacombs level, because of its immense scope and the way it incorporated the narrative into the design.. Having learned years later that Sariss grew up on Drommund Kaas, and that Darth Vader and Jerec also visited that planet, it makes me wish that more of that backstory made it into MotS's narrative.
I've never played Old Republic, but after seeing a video of OR's take on Drommund Kaas, I can see why you like that game's rendition. Of course, MotS was the first game to feature Drommund Kaas, so of course OR had the benefit of better technology and years of Expanded Universe lore to improve the place. Keep in mind, MotS was the first Star Wars game to create a spooky Sith planet, implementing a few influences from other established planets like Dagobah and Myrkr, so the designers worked with what they had.
The reason why Ysalamiri were scattered all over Drommund is because the designers were trying to create a world that mirrored Myrkr, the planet Mara and her old boss Talon Karrde held their smuggling base on in Heir to the Empire. I guess the developers thought that since they got Mara to be the main character, they should incorporate the critters that made Timothy Zahn's Thrawn trilogy memorable. I myself still wonder why the temple ruins were filled with lonely Noghri and Vornskrs; particularly Vornskrs, since they hate Force wielders. Part of me imagines abandoned audio logs a la System Shock explaining the presence of these creatures on Drommund Kaas, told by the ancient Sith Lords and maybe Darth Vader.
On the whole, I still love the design of MotS, especially the additional interactive gameplay features it incorporated. Admittedly, it took awhile to master, because MotS was way harder than JK. Ka'Pa the Hutt's Palace, Katraasii Spaceport, Takara's Stronghold, and SIth Temple Catacombs are my favorite levels. At the same time, I can imagine MotS being improved upon, especially as a remake modification. I can think of a few ways Drommund Kaas levels could be improved, with some more expansive outdoor environments similar to Old Republic's
You could say that Raven Software has really turned to the dark side of gaming industry. Instead of making amazing and fun games like this, all they do today is design maps and UI for Call of Duty.
It was because Singularity absolutely fucking bombed.
@@warmlycalculated390 sadly, singularity was an amazing game
@@zander2758 Yep!
Well it's not like they have any say in the matter. You make it sound like a choice. It's probably more like "I like not being homeless."
Wait, they're still around?
As for Rosh being in charge of a large group of stormtroopers, I think that is exactly why those two brothers, Kothos or whatever their last name was, were there with him. He was mainly supposed to serve as a trap luring both Jaden and Kyle and beat their morale, whereas the Kothos brother would have the real control over the Vjun troops and the cocky kid, that wouldn't do anythign stupid without their stamp of approval. I mean- that does make sense to me, at least.
The rant about the side character is ironic considering the new movies
You mean the rant about how rocky and unlikable Rosh is? Rey's the opposite of that.
@@Randoman590 I'm pretty sure he was talking about Kylo
@@Fredbob392 Yeah, except in the new movies it makes sense, kylo gets into the academy because it's his nephew, and the training went well untill he realized kylo is being seduced by Snoke, In Jedi academy Luke hires some random child who is arrogant right from the start, and disobeys every single order, but Luke doesn't even suspect anything about him.
@@user-ly2ll5od1r After three fucking movies I'm beginning to suspect that Snoke seduced Kylo with his sexy wrinkled ass than anything dark side-related.
i know it isn't going to win any awards, but i dont think the story is especialy stupid. It's your standard game story, and it is clearley not the focus of this sequel.
I agree the story revolves more around Kyle than the player, feeling a bit like they squeezed your character in after writing it (like Godfather 1 the game if you know what i mean). But all in all its your standard Kyle Katarn story: Tavion, an enemy he spared in Outcast is furious that he let her live (she's a sith go figure) and wants to get back at him through his students, and take over the galaxy on the way
I'm not sure if it's still alive or not, but a huge aspect of this game was its multiplayer. Not just running around and killing people in deathmatch mode, but back in the day it had a massive community, clan wars and even 1on1 ESL dueling scene.
yeah online was awesome.. great community.
It's still alive online
Itll probably come back alive for a month every time a new movie comes out
@@subutaynoyan5372 damn right it is i still play it and i love the movie battles mod.
I still play the game to this today on my original Xbox. Also played it with my friends and family years back. Has a good story mode for customization and the like (Kyle Katarn is still one of my favorite Jedi to date since Dark Forces 2 and Jedi Outcast), but it’s a whole lot of fun to play with others.
dual lightsabers and lightsaber staff weapons r top notch and fighting styles r cool as hell, I really liked this game!
Not sure if you are into RPGs but you should check out the KOTOR franchise
I came here because of the humble bundle sale lol
I wish they remastered Jedi Academy, so if you did a good ending we can continue doing more mission, exporting different planets and using all force powers in the game. but if you did a bad ending we can do darth side mission and of course exporting different planets as well.
that will be cool if they did that, but that will only happen if someone is making a mod of that.
they need to make another game like this, these games are more memorable than any of the recent movies
I write 3 or 4 at time and record the voice-over for all of them at once. Then just hunker down on a Sunday and edit them all at once. It sounds like a lot of work but once you get into a rhythm it's really easy.
Then I just stagger releasing them on RUclips.
thanks mate! i've had a few requests to do kingpin, it's definitely on the backlog
This is one of my favorite Star Wars and Jedi Knight games ever :) . This game was alot of fun :)
Cheap as free now. What a great review, love the picking apart the arrogant padawan guy and showing the guy floating up from the speeder
I agree and as i always say:JKO has a great story that gets you in the game but JKA has those small "addons" like the dual sabers and the slow motion death that make the gameplay more fun. That's why i use the JOA mod.It puts the JKO story in JKA.Very nice review btw. ^^
star wars jedi knight 2 outcast and this game was my child hood
Didnt even mention the multiplayer... Thats the best part of the game ^^
And as far as I k ow from a year or 2 ago its still up on steam
The multiplayer was a lot of fun, I didn't care for the saber duels as much as in Outcast but there was a mode called Siege that was awesome.
You should do a movie battles mods corner review it makes this game ten times better
Outcast had the better story, but Jedi Academy has the better Gameplay and Level variety. Also choosing which powers to upgrade aswell as having different lightsaber styles is really neat. Both are great Star Wars games.
Totally agree, worth pickin up just because of the fun mechanics in the game.
Though if you´re after story then pick up the prequell Jedi outcast(dark forces 3)
I just wish you could use your Saber in first person like you could in Jedi Outcast
It's not as good JK2 in terms of story and such, but the gameplay is on point. Raven Software was one hell of a developer back in the day!
I need to get this one out again.
the yoda mod was badass.
Very good review dude, but you should have mentioned the multiplayer
This was my favorite of the series and my favorite Star Wars game of all time. It improved on Outcast's faults (uninteresting first few levels, incredibly frustrating level design) tenfold. The character customization, the heavy involvement of the Jedi Praxeum, the blend of the feels of the original and prequel trilogies, it was just perfect. I really wish we could have gotten at least one last Jedi Knight game. I love the Force Unleashed games but if I had to choose between The Force Unleashed or a Jedi Knight IV, I'd go for Jedi Knight IV any day.
Here's to hoping Jedi Fallen Order will at least somewhat recapture the magic of the Jedi Knight series. I know a lot of people hate EA and don't have faith that any of their studios can create solid games but I really enjoyed DICE's Battlefront reboots so I believe JFO will be great.
Did you enjoy it?
@@shanks0307 Absolutely! It didn't really capture that JK vibe but it was still a lot of great fun!
On of my best games ever. I completed it at least 30 times when I was lonely kid/teenager. Then I stopped counting but I think it goes to 50+ playtroughs. Wish someone made proper sequel with better story. Also... can'tt forget about MP with Movie battles mod which is still alive and active today
There's a reaon as to why Rosh gets the command he gets in the dark jedi ranks. The head of all this is Tavion, who above all is seeking revenge against Katarn. Turning Katarn's apprentice and making him out henchman is quite high in her list of priorities. One can question its soundness, but it makes sense from the villain's perspective.
This game is still played online! Install the Jedi++ Mod and it's truly EPIC!
Plus Jedi Academy had a much better online multiplayer setup. Like, Jedi Outcast is better in every other regard except for the online (and that's only because Academy learned from Outcast)
alright i m about to buy this game on steam and wanted to know if Jedi outcast 2 is newer or older because it doesn't say i presume that this is newer and is there still multiplayer for both k thanks.
Ive played the game recently and just for fun Id decided to go with mind trick instead of lightning. Its so cheap that at earlier levels you can CC the entire room and just saber them down. Once you level it up and go against heavies and jetpackers, mind control lets you fuck em up so easily. Not to mention, its so funny to see heavies shoot each other.
Lightning is very useful against droids though but you dont meet them so often.
you should of put in the cheat for dismemberment, makes it 10x better
Coming to the Compatibility system on Xbone
The campaign was fun to play through just because the levels and environments were nicely designed and the abilities and powers were a lot of fun to use. But I agree the actual story itself was pretty lame though not the worst mostly because of Rosh being an obnoxious character (I think even the developers knew he would be despised hence why there's the option to kill him at the end) and the villains don't have the same impact that previous villains like Jerec and Desann did. Overall though, I still love this game and go back to it a lot even after all these years. But from a storytelling point of view, Jedi Knight and Outcast are better
Everything you said about Rosh is hilariously accurate lmao
Got this Games with gold, but haven´t played it yet.
THE GAME WONT OPEN it just gives me a error message
shame you didn't mention multiplayer, its still pretty active (and even modded improved/more complicated lightsaber combat) to this day
the only lightsaber combat worth checking is Jedi Outcast 1.02 multiplayer, the players evolved the game without mods., evertyhing else is trash included JKA mp mods.
i spent my childhood in this game with online lol it had an awesome community
I hope they make jedi fallen order with this games combat style
I didn't use lightning because it was a dark power and I though I was gonna be a sith at the end. Jeez... stupid me...
Honestly, it's kind of lame that so far only two SW games, namely the original Jedi Knight and KotOR II, managed to give us a meaningful light/dark side choice based on our actions throughout the game rather than one single decision you can cancel and see the other route by just loading a savestate.
The Xbox version had a cheat code that allowed you to get all of the powers from the beginning and unlimited force, can you do that on the PC version?
I started playing this game since yesterday and I really like it. The fighting animations with the lightsaber look better than skyrim and it is so fluent.
Really loving your reviews; all the games I've been reminiscing over lately and doing my best to play em all again. They truly don't make them like they used to.
You should check out Kingpin Life of Crime.. Would love to hear youve got to say bout it.
Keep the vids comin
"Seeing Katarn from a third person perspective makes them much more awesome". You should see how badly he beats the crap out of you if you go Dark Side. It's like you're fighting Chuck Norris.
why didn't you mention the multiplayer? it is still (somewhat) alive in vanilla/plus but in moviebattles it is still almost packed
most fun game i ever played
3:46 They should have made it like Dark Forces 2. Where the outcome of the ending to the game is not just a random decision in you but rather if you used dark side or light side powers more and how Luke and Kyle notice you going to the light or dark path.
I actually prefer Academy's approach. One of the themes of the game is powers aren't inherently good or bad, but how you use them, so having your in game choices determine that rather than which powers you use is better.
Though some more acknowledgement on what powers you chose could be better.
@@gameragodzilla That's actually true - the powers aren't good nor bad but the 'dark side' powers are leading to corruption
I really like this game, but the one annoying thing about it is that I could not play the game with dynamic glow on because it would cause the game to lag. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?
I'm guessing you don't have this problem on any other games
I'm surprised you didn't mention anything about the FPS side of the game which I thought was relatively fun.
Aside from the story, I loved this game and Jedi Outcast and wish they would continue the Jedi Knight series. I loved the dismemberment cheat in Jedi Outcast. Only game where you can cut people to pieces with a light saber. Check out that cheat if you have not. Changes the whole game. Along with some other really cool cheats such as unlocking a whole new single handed saber style. Props to this game.
Ya know, I love this game so much that I didn't realize everything you're saying about this game is true about the jedi just loosely allowing anyone to carry a lightsaber 🤣😂🤣
I spent years in mp in this game. Amazing clans and People
Where's your knights of the old republic review? It's insane.
I dont think hes really an RPG kinda guy
Oh the memories :')
I vote they remake this game for pc only!!! Update the gfx and animation, new story more customization
i wish. at least bring up a mobile version like outcast and quake 2 ,3
They have made a mobile version for android, Jedi academy touch.
rea..he..he..eaallly!
Yup. Its compatible with mods too.
Thanks! Gonna play it definitely. U rock!
Honestly think to this day this is the best SW game regarding playability. It's incredible how they pulled off the fluidity of the lightsaber moves so early on. Story was shit yeah but this shit was a blast from beginning to end
Love this game. such a load of fun to blast enemies with force lightning and watch them go flying.
that's fucked up honestly
If you are asking yourself if you should play this game - look at those lightsaber markings on the walls!
3:10 At least Kyle allways handles things with his badass personality "Something nasty!".
The multiplayer is also a lot of fun but it has the steepest learning curve of any game I have ever played. It's hard to get into but once you sort of make a name for yourself and start figuring out the nuances you can kick some ass, but most of the time the other players will be kicking yours - because most of them have been playing for over a decade.
I want a star wars game where you can have lightsaber duals like in the movies, just standing still and occasionally moving. In this game you're always sidestepping and jumping and stuff, I'm not saying that isn't cool, I'd just like to have a cinematic kinda dual.
IRL, you must be a moving target. Hell, even a low level boxer will tell you to move your feet.
Just because they clash in the movies for dramatic feels occasionally, they even in the movies do a bit of moving around. And Yoda takes it to the 9th degree. And demonstrates why it is actually preferred.
Fish4Man61 i know i know, i just feel that it's a tad excessive in Jedi Academy
The best part of this game was the multiplayer. I played it for years. Also this game can be easily modded a lot to improve the overall game.
there is a sale on steam...
so im thinking to buy it
for me and my friends
can we play co op?
+Donald Trump No, but you can DM.
Man i did play the Arse out of this game back in the day lol
GREAT REVIEW
I didn't like this game a whole lot, but the saber combat (especially with g_saberrealisticcombat set to 1) was so satisfying that I've played it several times
agreed, story, meh, gameplay, heck yes
Is this still the last solo star wars guy where you can choose an alien specie?
why does jedi outcast is called jedi knight 2?
Wait, are you telling me Boba lived through falling in the Iforgotthename pit?
How does he show up here if we literally see him die in episode 6?
0:40 The reason they made the protagonist a new character is because "they couldn't get away with taking Kyle's powers away again." It makes sense, but it would have been better to just add new powers and have Kyle have his previous powers but in their weakest rank.
4:00 You can blame Outcast's strict time limit for not having that much fan service and for it's lack of force powers in singleplayer. I mean, come on, THEY DID THE WHOLE THING IN LIKE 10 MONTHS.
They really should remake this game. Heck, it would kind of work in the New Canon.
The Side Quest Gamer they should remake the whole Dark Forces franchise. Since people are clearly stupid enough to give out 60 dollars for watered down battlefield with star wars on it, imagine how much money the publishers and devs would make if all they did was put a fresh coat of paint on the DF series. Hell, I'd buy probably 3 copies of each game
Jebus Almighty Same. Imagine if Dark Forces got the Doom '16 or Wolfenstein New Order treatment. That would be pretty neat to see.
Would rather see it get the Starcraft treatment :)
Faithful remaster.
It doesn't have to line up with Disney's canon. Also whether or not it does shouldn't be a requirement for such games.
Also I really don't want the EU to bend over backwards to please Disney canon. I'd rather keep them separate, otherwise things get confusing.
The Side Quest Gamer: NO they should not and NO it wouldn't and stop coming up with stupid ideas to fuck up good games.
The choice of whether or not Jaden turned to the darkside really should have been determined by the forcepowers chosen by the player.
I agree, honestly...but then again, some people just really want to kill Rosh.
I agree, honestly...but then again, some people just really want to kill Rosh.
Christopher Stanley the use of powers shouldn't determine what you are, how you use them and why should.
Then have a counter of the number of enemies you killed. Seriously, jedi don't go around murdering every enemy in your path.
Just think there was 2 more games for the outcast series coming down the pipes in the years 04-08. When lucasarts realized games like halo and gta made more money off of one game than they did off of the 4 or 5 games they released a year. So they just canned everything
This is one of my favorite star wars games next to KotOR 1 and 2 and Battlefront 2 (not the EA one)
'Did he not learn anything from his father?'
And a year later you described all the problem in The Force Awakens XD
The real reason to play this game is the multiplayer, which is still fairly lively in 2016.
Good Review. I agree with you on the crappy story, i played the story only once. But with the Source code released, i hope someone will make a good mod, so i can play it again.
All enemies are sixth mod
2:40 , same plot with "Kylo Ren" haha
Its supose to be very "rare to fall to the dark side. But in some bad star wars storys, it seems very common.
*coming back after last jedi* i have bad news about Luke's character
In the original trilogy they didn't want to accept anakin because he was
True, but Luke doesn't know that and probably doesn't run a traditional academy, its more like his pet project.
And with all the shit that's been going down post empire, its not that big of a stretch that he gathers any force users he can find.
Though in Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy he should've known to give more attention to the emotional students.
I want a remake of dark forces 2
this game has awesome multiplayer
maybe a stupid question, but i remember an old Star Wars PC game where you could choose dark side or not by your actions. which game is it?
Was it Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic?
More like Star Wars: Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight. If you kill enough civilians, even those Ugnaughts a the Fueling Station, you're forever screwed into the path of the Dark Side.
Should have brought up the advantage to PC users of spawn codes. Just spawn in a bunch of jedi and sith. Hours of fun.
Omg dude, that and the doublebladed lightsaber with gore and dismemberment mods= perfection
bobtheturtleman9 that mod made the game so much fun i replayed it a few time more because of it.
Heh. Yeah. I've been reliving the memories with this great android app by Beloko Games: Jedi Academy Touch. It allows you to play Jedi Academy on your android device including mods. If you look at his RUclips channel/ Google play profile, he's uploaded some great ports.
Yep. Got to love ports!
Looks fun 10 years ago
graphics and the story is good but in this game you can't win a duel at least they could do a difficulty level for beginners
Git Gud
I don't remember which difficulty I was playing, probably low, I thought most lightsaber duels were easy. I had my trick consisting of paralyzing the guy with a force choke and then force throwing the lightsaber at him, it usually did the job in seconds.
This games looks right up my street !
