My cousin helped us a lot on the first half day…. Taking us around the historic part and the fish market…. But then we were on our own for the museum and San Cristobal Hill. It was a whirlwind trip for sure…. But nearly most of my trips are like that!

I loved how your started mentioning the earthquakes... Apart that is a part of our culture, it explains the architecture of our cities. I work in engineering and once a neerland folk who complained about our tend to magnify our structures... And i respond him: well, you have cathedrals, we have earthquakes... Good video, i hope you had a great time in Chile❤❤❤

@@cristianleon7009 I appreciate the feedback! My family is from the Philippines and we have earthquakes too and typhoons. One of the only memories I have of my childhood there is an earthquake! That and mosquitos…:). Chile was wonderful! Can’t wait to see the rest of the country! Maybe Chiloe? And definitely Patagonia!

The design of the Santiago central market building was carried out by the Englishmen Edward Woods and Charles Henry Driver and the pieces of the central structure were manufactured by the Messrs Laidlaw & Sons company in Scotland.
