I've watched this video a dozen times now and have it bookmarked. Similar techniques are used in videos by other artists, but your video is unbeatable at showing how it works. Studying this has helped me confidently take on sketches of public places, because adding a few people? No problem! And you demonstrate it in both ink and watercolor. I really appreciate this. You're awesome. Thank you so much for sharing.
Alena wish you'd do more demos of your urban sketching! Loved you people drawing demo. Come on girl ,give us more!
+Alena Kudryashova
I follow you on instagram, and is weird because i didn't know it was you on this video.
Nice drawings!

That Self Moistening Brush is the Best Field Water PaintBrush ever invented..!!
hey, really good working. just wondering what kind of brush youre using here. thanks
Почему одних людей ты ртсуешь ручкой, а потом краской, некоторых сразу красками?
Thank you for the video! You make it look really easy :) one thing though, the eye-level thing - I need more explanation on this point :) that's some trick, that is supposed to help, right?
I just found this video and it is fantastic. I am new to sketching and have such difficulty sketching people. Having a few people gives depth and perspective to urban sketches and your video makes it look so easy. Thank you for the wonderful ideas.
Loved the people drawing video, please do more of your own art videos!
Wow, your style is nearly identical to James Richards. Have you seen his Craftsy video? I think it's currently on offer.
Dear Alena, thanks for this helpful video!! btw, what kind of brush are you using?
Thank you for this video its helping me to draw figures. Mike UK
This is beautiful, thank you for sharing :)
круть. дякую
Interesting, how you have the figures lined up with your eye line. A similar method is used to orient multiple sails of boats on water against a background.
The drawing is amazing to watch, but I have no Idea what you're talking about. What cube? What pyramid?
hi Alena! what do you call that water brush you used? i can't find it in art shops here, i figured i'd look it up online but i don't know what it's called
tahnks Alena! i found it online
It's an amazing tool!
Lol, are there places that DON'T sell water brushes? (btw, good save on the shadowing.)
Thank you for this video, gosh it makes it all make sense, and is wonderful to see the versatility of this technique with pen or watercolour.
thanks! Glad you found it helpful!
Those are so cute, i love that kind of drawing~
Love this video. Were these people drawn from imagination, a photo or outside? P.S. I agree that you should upload more videos!
Danke🎉für die Motivation. Diese Ideen und Inspirationen konnte ich sofort in mein Sketchbook übernehmen.
what if two people are different heights who are standing next to each other? One person's eyes are not going to be on the VP.

Thank you! Excellent tutorial: great visual and very helpful :).
Gracias!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I've been studying architectural "people" to be able to render them; This video is very helpful. Thank You!
Where do you get those little water colour palette yolks?
what type brush are you using in this video
Hi Alena, I know that some persons work with the socalled "eye level". But in reality it does not work so easy. Let's say, a person is 180 cm high. So this is HIS eye level. All other persons with 180 cm height have their heads at the same height. Smaller people are deeper, and taller people are higher. Best example: a mother with her child. They walk hand in hand, and the child's eye level is below the mother's eye level. So only people with the same height are on the eye level of the beholder (drawer).
This is so satisfying and intriguing to watch!
and from the palette Ive noticed youd never used white! :D
techi with a beautiful sense of composition. Thanks! Loved watching.
I really like the drawing, but I would of liked to hear your thoughts on what you were thinking about. Why you did certain things. Share your knowledge or some of your tricks that may have helped you.
Thank you I really learned from this ! No I understand 💕💕🤗✌️
Very interesting and informative. Always wanted to be an Architect, but missed the bus and became an engineer. However, architecture was always my hobby and pastime.
Thank you Спасибо!!!!!

I really enjoyed your drawing. Thank you to share with us.
Subscribed! Excellent thank you! Just starting doing sketching and painiting at a late age so this is great to see demonstrated. So much to learn! I still have difficulty getting my head round everyone's head being on the same line! What if it's a playground scene or a busy railway station? With the fancy brush (I have seen them advertised) is the technique to squeeze the brush instead of rinsing in a jar?
Indeed that was the technique. You wipe it on the tissue. You can use that brush for travel, but still have proper brushes for at home painting! I find the waterbrush quite inconvenient in most cases.
oh, and when you have some time, could you do another video please? lovely!
Great video. Would like to know your video setup.
A phone on a tripod :) Still to this day.
What model that pen
My name is alena too😂
This is great!!!I really love it!,,,!🤩🤩🤩🤩
