  • Day 9 and Lewis is making a repair on the sill. If you've been following the project you'll know by now there were a fair few repairs to be made to poor old Monica! Her sills were replaced by a previous owner but it wasn't the best of jobs...to put it lightly. We found a suspect bit so we cut it out and made a repair patch to put it right, Hopefully this video will help you if you want to carry out your own repair too.

I would love to win the lottery and just drop my 240s off at your shop and let you work your magic 😄

Episode idea.... Drive to Wales for a quick repair and some chips by the seaside. Sponsored by the national lottery 😂

Fantastic work! My corner sill on my 245 has rotted and in need of repair.... hopefully someone will have a corner repair piece available somewhere as I don't have the skills to make one like you can.

Give BrookHouse Volvo a check out. They have repair panels, not sure about the corner but you might be lucky 👍

You get a real sense of achievement when you fabricate your own panels, especially when they fit as well as the original panels. Time and patience results in a better finish, well done to you it will look great when the body is all completed.

Hi mate do you recall the width of that sheet metal? Also wonder what welder you're using for these thin sheets
