I completely relate to the hooded lid insecurity! It's so frustrating especially when you are an eyeshadow aficionado and you have to always be careful of shimmers and place them carefully to not draw out the fold. I am 29 and I also have asked about lid surgery and have told I am too young and to wait until 40s-50s 😩
Ahh it’s a struggle for sure. I have similar lids. Honestly I’ve come to love playing with mattes more and shaping the eye with them and using shimmers more strategically to get something that looks good rather than jumps out as super impressive. I’ve been more satisfied with my eye makeup overall since switching that mindset. Also! Mascara can be sooo shaping. I can’t really bother with liquid liner bc of hoodedness but smudged shadow liner on an angled blush plus good mascara?? I’m in love.

I really like this make up look! I honestly don't see a problem with your heavy folds, on the contrary I believe they suit your eye shape and contribute to making the make up even more beautiful. I have got the same heavy folds and, over time, I have come to appreciate them and this is partly due to your make up looks that make the hooded eyes look just stunning! I would also advise to stop wasting money in botox and fillers. I don't know if the same is happening to somebody out there, but every time I see a touched-up face, my brain associates it with an older woman. Think about it: an 18 or 20 yr-old girl (at least here in Italy) hardly ever has some fillers or botox done. Who has it done is usually older women, therefore my association to more mature people. All this to say that, maybe, a non-touched-up face is what would make us look ACTUALLY younger and fresher and not the opposite. No offense from my words, after all everybody is free to do what makes them feel best. I only wanted to make a point to think about.

I love that TF foundation left my skin really nice not heavy and had a soft glow. Why did you keep saying it was dark cuz it wasn’t. The foundation looks nice 😊
In person it was so much darker. I actually didn’t like the foundation on my skin. It didn’t stay on and it just accentuated my pores. I’ll have to try it without sunscreen and see how I like it. 🤷🏻♀️
