If you guys follow me on the blog, you know that I took a poll to see what Oscars makeup look you wanted me to recreate and no surprise here, Zendaya won. I recreated this red carpet makeup look with mostly drugstore products like Maybelline, NYX and Revlon and it seriously turned out amazing. This neutral, smokey eye is perfect for a night out, a special occasion or if you just want to feel your best with a dramatic eye makeup look.
I love using neutrals for a smokey eye because it can feel like a natural, yet dramatic makeup statement to any outfit you wear.
I was so excited to create this celebrity makeup tutorial and I hope you all love doing this neutral, smokey eye makeup as much as I did!

I can’t wait to re-create your take on this look! I have an Oscar party tomorrow night, which was supposed to be last weekend but Massachusetts lost power in a lot of places and I was out of it for three days. Anyways, the dress I’m wearing is aubergine, and I feel like this smoky purply browny eye would look so good. Can’t wait to re-create it with my persona pallete! :)
