It’s been a while since this girl was featured in a video. A lot of you seem to love her and have been asking for another update on her. Well, as you can see in this video, she’s never been better! She did not eat for several weeks, which did worry me a little.. but she’s back on food!
The male trapdoor that was featured only once (video linked below), unfortunately passed away. He was a matured male, but did not get to pair with this female, as she was in premolt. Not too sure how long this girl has ahead of her, but we’ll try to find another mature male in the near future. Not guaranteed, but we’ll try.

I went to my local pet store today and looked at their tarantulas and they have a pink toe, an Arizona blonde, and a Brazilian black and white!!! It was so cool cause now I’ve learned so much about them and I got to see a few in store , in person. It was awesome. And they had a bunch of different types of hognose snakes, I thought “aww pissy!” 😊

She's like me when my siblings bring something to my room. I just grab it and shut the door
I’ve been waiting for this! Tarantula feedings are always awesome but the same thing happens every time. It’s nice to see how a different species of spider eats from time to time.
Or you could have the best of both worlds, the Idiothele mira, the trapdoor tarantula! It only gets a MAX of 4 inches with some males maturing out at 1.5 inches. Their common name is the Blue Footed Baboon. Mine is small and fast and I love to watch her eat! I even put vids of her on my TikTok.
