Ayaw dn kc yan ng Mahalima. Throwing shade at them could reflect negatively on the fandom, which in turn could affect other casuals' impression on SB19. If we don't like what comes out of their mouths then let's just ignore, not give attention to it, and leave. Un usually ang ginagawa q sa vids na feel q pangit ang sinasabi abt our guys. We can introduce them to others but we can't force them to love them immediately as we do. Hayaan natin silang i explore ang SB19 kung gusto nila. Hehe 😅

This is special because not all of the SB19 members had a complete set of parents. Josh who sang the lines about "Dad" never get to see his own father...but he sang it beautifully and emotionally. And also Ken who also sang about father only seen his father until he's 5yrs. old because both his dad and mom works in Malaysia. Ken grew up with his grandparents. He only seen them thru video calls. Thanks for reacting to their mv and more power to your channel. Looking forward for you reacting for more Filipino singers. ❤❤❤

I can see that you really love SB19 music. You still try to explain him the way how you interpret the song. That's okay though, we can't force anyone to feel the way we want them to feel. Maybe if you could give another chance to this song, try the wish bus. It has subtitle so could feel the song the way they delivered it with passion. The way they convey the message of the song is always their strength as a performer. Or else, you could have another song and just leave this one. This song doesn't need saving because it already proves so much to most of us.

MAPA is my favorite song from SB19, it was the song that led me to them actually. I guess it resonated so well to me since it felt like a warm hug from my parents whom I miss dearly and now long gone.
In this day and age when many songs are produced with simply non sensical lyrics, hearing and understanding MAPA was like a breath of fresh air to me. I also enjoyed the other performance versions they had of this song, like the band version with Ben&Ben and the Forte orchestra version. Even their MV ice cream brand production is a delight to watch. Then any of their live stage performances for this song is always heartwarming.
It is also understandable to have different music preferences. Thankfully SB19 has such a diverse genre choices in their music catalog for you guys to explore. Plus their own individual solo projects, and many brand songs too.

Hehe, Brother should have presented this song to his brother in a way like it was presented to him. Just let watch and listen to it, and not even try to influence his expectations. So his brother was right to expect differently. Although, I'm not aware or haven't heared of any other song with the same theme as "MaPa", from any other part of the world, that is as good or is better to listen to than this one. But still, "you live, you learn", ways of approach when you want some things to go your way.
People who don't love or care for their parents will find this video lacking in "wow factor"....

Josh, mamanya single mother. Dia gak pernah ktemu papa biologicalnya.
Kalau Ken. Orang tuanya dulu kerja aboard di Malaysia jadi pas kecil diasuh sama nenek kakeknya.
Neneknya Ken meninggal waktu recording MAPA.
Waktu SB19 ke indo, Ken yang in charge ngomong bahasa indo. He asked ortu/papanya buat ajarin dia 😅

@@thomasbudianto Ken masih lengkap mama papa nya kak, cuma emang dari kecil mama papa nya kerja di Malaysia, kadi dia cuma pernah ketemu langsung ibaratnya bisa dihitung jari (alhamdulillah setelah esbi sukses berapa tahun ini akhirnya dia bisa boyong mama papanya pulang, gak harus kerja di luar lagi), jadi dia diasuh sama nenek dan kakeknya dari kecil. Dan neneknya meninggal pas banget lagi masa recording lagu mapa ini, dan kakeknya meninggal juga di tahun yang sama, kalo kakak ada liat tattoo bentuk sepasang tengkorak dengan rusuk yang menyatu di lengan atas Ken, itu tattoo yang dia buat atas rasa kehilangan nenek dan kakeknya setelah mereka meninggal dunia 🙏

but I think, even if you don't have great or good parents, their absence could also be your reason to be good and strong and for you to be able to have a goal in life or make your self to be a better person. The wow factor is that they really meant every word. Knowing how they come up with that song and what they went through along the way. To some they did feel it probably sharing the same experience. This is a lyric video and is supposed to symbolize something the map the plane the ship etc. FYI only. No need for an explanation either you feel it or you don't. Is it just a song or a music?
