AS U KNOW, ANDY AND CHRIS LIVED TOGETHER FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS... THEY CHALLENGED EACH OTHER TO WRITE A SoNG EVERY SINGLE DAY AND PERFORM IT TO EACH OTHER.. THATS HOW U GET THAT GREAT... MISS THEM BOTH

This man along with Layne(Alice in Chains) and Mark (Mudhoney) are the true 🐐’s of grunge, as much as I love Pearl Jam and Eddie Vedder, I wish Andrew lived on and got to live his dream of making it big he truly was something special may he Rest In Peace with Layne, Kurt, Chris and all the rest 👌

Agree totally but the common denominator of everything seattle and " grunge " is Mark lanegan IMO. His music with the trees and every other band and collaboration he's been involved with is unbelievable. His version of nutshell ( AIC ) is probably and will always be the ultimate in perfection and how to make another artist's tune and deliver a beautifully crafted piece of music without taking away the honesty and personal emotions layne scribed in truth. Opened something inside me that i never knew existed until i sat down and listened to it... broke down personal barriers I've built around me since my late teens. Mark lanegan was grunge before grunge was a name tag...

I believe L'Andrew sparked the ideas and his death forced the emotions of the music to come

I think this might be the most amazing person who ... I'm not going to get started but I'm so sorry he went out the way he did and I'm so lucky to be alive.

Whats super eerie about this, is that the demo that would get Eddie into Pearl Jam was called the Momma/Son demo.

Brother, you know I agree 100% with that and I got to throw in Mark Lanegan's name in there too though. He is still going on with his own unique style and Mark is a legend still in my eyes. Layne and Andy taught them all well and Ian Astbury and Perry Farrell had major influence as well on Andrew, I can just tell.
