when you steal something that expensive, you won't be able to sell it. Imagine, you walk in to some Jewellers and say, I would like to sell 500.000 watch. You will be arrested straight away. You need to adjust and service watch. For this price, probably you need to pay 50k for service a year, which probably is covered by insurance.

As I see it, watches like these are the most worth it ones. "ORDINARY" built watches like Pateks, Rolexes, Hublots, etc, are easily replicated. There are copies so perfectly made that you have to bring it to an expert just to tell if its fake or not. And personaly, I would NEVER put that amount of money in something that could be replicated like that. But these watches, on the other hand, along with BOVETs and Greubel Forsey's, for example, cannot be falsified. They are so complex, that for most of them, you can't even find replicas, and the ones you can find, are static, don't move, because they just can't replicate the engeneering and hand-painted art. if when turn the dial, and you over do it, then you damage the mechanics behind the watch, so the problem is, how far can you turn ?
crazy looking oversized watches that still manage to look classy and beatiful!!
Anyone knows what brand is the watch box in the beginning
