Finally someone said it! If you're looking for stabilization and are not a world renowned professional cinematographer, use a GoPro! Otherwise, the ZVE-10 does it all. Great camera and great video.

I agree with all said in the video, and I'd add with Catalyst Browse stabilization is not an issue anymore. It's an extra step to do so you spend time with it, but for the price it's impossible to get more out of less cost.

Dji osmo pocket 3 is all you need to do vlogging like this. Gimbal is on board, and everything is just perfect (for such a small lens size)!

Great video.. I have gorpo 10 as well as Zve10.
I use gorpo when I am out and traveling alot, because it has the best stabilization and it is so robust and I don't have to worry about breaking it.
I use zve10 when I am indoors. It is also a prefect camera.
Your suggestiom is great. If you are walking too much, get gopro. If you are shooting still videos, get zve10.

Hey thanks for the Video, to eliminate the weird motion blur on active stabilisation, just crank up the shutter speed.
For me 1/100 -1/200 and above is very good and bare noticable ;)

I'm currently using the Sony A7C. So good quality but waste too much time stabilizing my images with catalyst, I would also like to switch to the EV Z1 .
would you have any idea about the quality, a7c has 24 megapixels. ev1 has 12 megapixels
Megapixels on video are not showing the quality. Is about the sensor, and technology…and you lens. ZV E1 is more powerfull then A7C. Much better in low light and other things. Just use a good lens.

Who is David? :)) I like to use Slog 3. You have more High Dynamic Range with Slog 3 but you really need to learn how to expose it and color grade the footage. If you want simple, let it with without a picture profile, If you want the best, Slog3 is the one. Thank you :)

Hey! the Sony zv-10 records gyroscopic data, this means you can use the Sony Catalyst Browse program to stabilize your shots! its pretty good
Yes, that's true! But, that require another step, a lot of time to render the stabilised footage and il will also make a crop. If you are ok with these things, yes, it's a good option. Thank you for your comment :)
Sometimes I've issue after stabilized with catalyst browse and inefficient because each video must be stabilized
Catalyst is not a good option. If you can’t shoot from a tripod the only option is to use a gimbal for zv-e10. It really depends of you shooting style.

I have used zve10 and now I'm using a7iv but still the stabilization is not good. Only action cameras can give you best stab in day light. When i asked you to walk and talk i knew the results and i always say sony and all these big camera companies are ripping off people with these expensive big cameras just for the sake of bokeh.
Yeah! you are right, This bokeh trend is... :)) And most of the time, people don't need bokeh. If you are outside and want people to see the view, you will use f7-8-9 so... I don't know, for me, stabilization is not a must with a vlogging camera. but if you have an action cam, you can use that just for walk and talk and use the ZV E 10 for tripod. Thank you!
@@GabrielVIP Yes but if you want stabilized good footage day and night I'd recommend DJIP 2 it is the ultimate camera for walk and talk I've compared gopro and dji at night and dji wins in most situations. Also you got some good videos about camera gear. Nice work 👍🏻

Use an iPhone (that you already have in your pocket )for walking vlog , and then use a mirrorless with a good lens to show places !
Hey! That can be a good solution. The only thing I don’t like about shooting with phones is the sound. But you can do good content woth an iPhone :)

From sony, ZV-E1. The active stabilisation is pretty good. If you want more on image stabilisation go with Panasonic but I don't really know that system and the auto focus is not that good. Or, the best option, use a gimbal :)

I need to take videos of cars at the drags and around the racerack. Would thr stabilization of these type of videos be bad?
Hey. I think you need a gimbal. It really depends about how you want to shoot but I recommend a gimbal.
@@GabrielVIP I was thinking of that too and in my case may well be worth it. One more question if you don't mind. What lens do you recommend for getting both cars in a shot. As well as video. Would a Sigma 16mm be too distorted ?
It really depends about how you like it. For my taste, sigma 16mm distorsion is not bad. But that’s a matter of taste. I like sigma 16 and for shure is a good lens.

Sony's Catalyst Browse Software will stabilize the video from the Zv-10...almost as good as a Gopro Stabilization 😍

The zve10 is no good for travel vlogging where walk n talk is important.
The image on the hero 11 or DJI is good enough and perfectly stable.
Unless you accept the crop and use a selfie stick.
Plus the background bokeh is best avoided as the viewers wanna see the background not only the face
Walking is a problem with ZV-E10. Hero 11 is perfect for stabilization but in low light situations... I don't like it. For the streets yes, you don't need bokeh, but even in travel vlogging you cand have situations when you want that. For Travel, yes, I think the same, Hero is better. For tripod and talking head videos, ZV-E10 is perfect. :)

Do you understand that rolling shutter works both ways, when you move camera or when something in frame moves... You do not have to move very fast to see that people or vehicles has jello. I have this camera right now, and only blind can't see rolling shutter. When my subject wave hands or head, it is just plain obvious that it has old celeron level processing powers with half a core
@@warhamburger40k81 type in a6500 music video and countless videos will pop up and look at the cars in the background, no rolling shutter . Lol type in short films , music videos etc no one complains about it only the tech pixel peepers that whip their cameras around like a maniac. I’ve used the a6500 on a number of music videos for unsigned artists and rolling shutter was never an issue.

Yes, the rolling shutter is big, but just for vlogging in this price point... Big, huge youtubers with tones of views and fans has enormous rolling shutter. Who cares? If you shut only moving things, you can use action cam. Again, for simple vlogging in this price point...

With ZV E10 and for talking heads no. Just for some clients with my a7SIII when I need high dynamic range.

I agree with you. And the GoPro 9 can look MUCH better than you showed as well. If you set it up right, your video will be amazing... and more so for RUclips or other non-TV or Movie use.

I agree. I wish I'd known before buying about the stabilization though. I wanted to start making RUclips videos and didn't know an incredible amount about cameras. In all the research I did, I never read it didn't have a stabilizer and I figured such a thing wouldn't be an issue considering its a vlog camera. So now I'm saving up for a gimbal haha. @@GabrielVIP

You can just use catalyst browse!
Catalyst can be a solution in some sotuations but most of the time it’s bad for the quality and also it tooks a lot of time. If you have a few videos to stabilize, yas, it’s ok, but if you have a ton of videos is hard to do it every time.
