I just read a comment on this video saying "it's a good thing it makes fun of incels" Incel is the equivalent to a racial slur, so I know everything I need to know about this movie and who it's for,
Don't forget how at the end Ken asked if at least one Ken could be a part of the Supreme Court or whatever they called it and they said no and then the narrator said that Kens will have to work their way up just like women had to in the real world. LOL So basically the message is - women should take revenge on man and flip the script. nice
Exactly now your understanding, same thing goes for black supremacists and there hatered of white people The government gives them a script and it sounds nice ...until you put 3 brain cells together and understand they want revenge for something that never happened to them in the first place ...
So women are amazing and badass but they still got usurped by Ken overnight? Which is it? are women oppressed victims or empowered girlbosses? You can't have both, it's a massive contradiction

The marketing level is insane. Google a lead actor from this and you see pink fireworks. No doubt Mattel put in countless marketing millions on top of what the studio spent.
So instead of the Barbies learning that treating the men like Slaves will eventually lead to an uprising and its best to live as equals, they go back to being Dominate Slave Masters. So the cycle will eventually continue and the Kens will lead another uprising. Is this supposed to be a tragic tale?
Yeah, instead of looking at the 'real world' and realizing she and the Barbies treated the Kens terribly, they punish the Kens because the 'real world' doesn't completely kiss womens asses.

It's only pro "women" who act and behave like men, all the natural female qualities and womanhood are crapped on just as much as they crap on men.
The fact that a movie licensed from a 7 decades old plastic doll toy-line is eons more politically and socially divisive and controversial than a biopic about the man who contributed the most towards the creation of the atomic bomb, truly indicates the state of the modern world.
As a woman. I came in expecting a Toy Story type of movie but with Barbie’s. No, Greta had to ass messages and agendas in this movie. It was sooo annoying

I don't understand how anyone could think a female centric movie made in Hollywood could possibly not be anti-man, misandrist garbage. I already decided not to see this when I learned Kelly Sheridan, the voice actress from the 2000s animated Barbie movies, wouldn't be involved. Everything afterwards proved I was right.
I'll bet you she sensed something early on. When it's a real passion project, everyone comes out of the woodwork. Just ask the woman who has voiced Tails in practically every Sonic project since the early 2000s. She wouldn't have lent her voice to the new series of movies if she thought it wasn't up to the standards of the IP.

10:00 About 6 weeks ago, before I knew that this movie was going to be awful, I asked my Mom if she wanted to go see it. She said no because she never played with Barbies. My response at the time was "neither did I", but I should have known this movie was going to be trash based on Greta Gerwig's involvement.
Increasingly "patriarchy" seems to have meant, "Men serving the needs and interests of women while taking all the risks, accountability, and responsibility so that women don't even have to acknowledge these things, much less apply to them." In other words, "partrachy" seems to be "men have the power so that they can provide for women and women maintain plausible deniability so as to avoid accountability." This means women can criticize men while taking no responsibility for how society is.
What did Jack say in that movie to the question, "How do you write women so well?" Jack: "I think of a man. And I take away reason and accountability."
Valliant Renegade said it best: "This movie makes *_Ghostbusters_* (2016) look like a freaking masterpiece." In my eyes, this is *_The Last Jedi_* on crack cocaine.
Uh no, NOTHING can make that movie look like a freaking masterpiece. Sometimes people wanna say something that they think sound profound, but just come off as idiots.
Women, we need to take a stand and defend our men. Men defended us against Budlight, who decided to let another man parade around pretending to be a woman. It's our turn now. Do not give your money to a movie that is clearly trying to hate men and everything about men just for being men.
Men defended you from more than Budlight, but modern society forgets that. My grandfather died fighting literal Nazis in WW2 but in current times the woke assholes try to call ME a Nazi simply for not following their cult. Makes me sick to the stomach. I saw Barbie. I came into the theater ignoring the nay sayers and wholeness alarmists. I wanted to LOVE this film. I love Barbie and all her glory. Here’s my take away: If you HATE men, masculinity, and maleness, you will love this movie. If you have any love or empathy for men at all, you will probably not like this film. If you love this film, and you have a man in your life, Father, Husband, Brother, Son, you clearly hate them and want them to be subservient accessories for your wrath against the patriarchy. Also, Margot Robbie is pretty as Barbie. That’s it. That’s the whole film.
@@gtt8428 You hit the nail on the head with this comment! The messages were all screwed up! I'm sure that you can make great movies with strong female characters, like the Wonder Woman movies, but when feminazi chicks try to trample on men, to big up their false narratives and not-so-hidden-anymore agendas, that all men are evil, stupid, and weirdos, then it's easy to say that Barbie is the worst movie I've ever seen!
As a female, this movie was garbage! They literally changed the plot half way through and it was so political for something that should have ben fun and for the family. It sucks how everyone at school praises this movie but they also look down on men so it makes sense.
Exactly. Even the Barbie production line that made the toys, all the film equipment used to create this movie, and the cinema equipment used to show this movie, hell, even the tampons used while filming the movie..... all designed, created and made by men. Feminists don't want to acknowledge that inconvenient truth though.
Haven't seen this and no intention too. But from the sounds of it, the part in the movie which is supposed to be "real life", it really seems Greta has never been outside at all. If that's what she thinks real life is...😮 I mean a guy slaps Barbie on the a**? I'm pretty sure that's a crime.
Interesting that they say this is a movie about women and for women but there are more men in the movie then women and some of those women are trans women...yes, males that took jobs from actual women. I noticed too that Barbie is the only female allowed to be beautiful. It's clear she's the only Barbie in the movie because all Barbies are beautiful and most women in this movie not so much.
The sad thing is this movie had a really good setup to hammer home that women can be whatever they want AND that the idea of a society ruled strictly on one gender's influence is bad either way. Hell, even that the patriarchy is bad for men as well. But by the ending, everyone is where they started at, mostly.
I hate that this movie is beating Oppenheimer at the box office. I hate that it's doing so well. And worst of all, I hate that it didn't kill Margot Robbie's career. Which likely means she'll return to playing Harley Quinn in the DCU. I just hope they at recast the Birds of Prey. Given us a proper Birds of Prey. And an actual Cassandra Cain.
It is not "beating" Oppenheimer. Oppenheimer is performing beyond expectation for a movie that was not necessarily meant to appeal to all audiences. Oppenheimer also does not have dedicated fan base. Perhaps people like Nolan, but the movie itself is bringing audiences based on its quality. The barbie movie is doing well because it has an inbuilt audience and they did a lot to hide just how toxic the misandrist narrative of the movie is.
It sucks just to be like u. Men used to fought war but I'm surrounded by bunch of cry babies. What have you become to be offended to a doll movie. The movie is about to hit billion but here you are tearing, being jobless, useless in society.
I've just gone to see the movie and I didn't find it terrible, there were quite a few parts that made me laugh and the visuals were really good. But, yes, a lot of scenes made me cringe. The demonization and generalisation of men was what annoyed me the most. Like the men either acted weak or like absolute jerks and weirdos. I thought the message of the movie would be something along the lines of: 'Barbie has always been a good role model for girls by showing girls they can do anything while still embracing their femininity' and 'neither a matriarchy or a patriarchy is good for the world, we should all be treated with respect and dignity and have equal representation.' But no, all it did was push the radical feminist idea that all men are bad and women should rule the world. It's ridiculous to me that people (on the right and left of politics) are still hell bent on gender being the talking point of everything.
Okay okay, I think you’re missing it a little. Not all of the men are bad. The Ken’s, an allegory for incels and men who objectify women and feel entitled to them, are portrayed as bad. But there are some, like the Mattel board and Allen, who aren’t! The Mattel board are men and in charge, so seem like the enemy of the movie, but aren’t ever really evil. They just want Barbie back in Barbieland. And Allen actively is helpful through the movie, and never does anything bad. Even at the end of the movie, Barbie says she should have considered Ken’s feelings, and apologises. It isn’t an anti-men movie, it’s an anti-incel movie. It’s a strike at men who think they deserve more just for being men, not at hardworking men who actually worked for what they have, like the Mattel board.
What did you expect? "The message" is there to keep people divided. They want you divided by gender, by race, by sexual preference, etc. This is the reason why black.rock and van.guard are pushing this ESG nonsense. Politics is downstream from culture. imo that's not the movie's problem. age ratings exist for a reason. and i get it, it's a barbie movie, but i think it was made for ppl who are now adults but used to love barbies as a kid. if parents are complaining about the movie not being suitable for their kids, it's not the movie's fault, it's theirs for not doing research on the rating

Well, the Barbie movie serves as a great philosophical question of what a tyrant sees when he rules. Barbie sees herself as perfect, and everyone else to be her lessers. Not a single man may engage with her, and all men wish to be with her, so she feeds off their worship or lust. She seeks to maintain her position at all costs, and her desirability even more. However, the men learn a little about self-respect and start to grow some. But the only example they know is a tyrant, and they lack any knowledge or wisdom as none exists within Barbie's rule. So they fall apart, but this is the delusions of the tyrant. Men, when things hit rock bottom, turn violent, and women do not handle violence well. Barbie would of lost her rule, and suffered a horrific fate due to this. Quite possibly we see the rest of this movie as her trying to relive her glory days, while her suffering continues after being used up. There she lays, the former queen of the world. Chained to time, and her fleeting beauty, her rule long forgotten, though her legacy lives on through her many bastards. The men build and create, seeking better things, while she wastes away. The other women coward away from her examples, and seek to be as the men once were, less they become the new Barbie.
Ah, yes. The tragedy that is mirroring Plato's "Fall of the Republic". The women are dictators, who take over ALL parts of society and make men the slaves to worship them and give lust to them. That's how society falls flat, and this is a cautionary society that doesn't involve men's involvement and roles in a society. Without men, there's no society. Only chaos and destruction of ALL aspects of life.
A Barbie movie shouldn’t be political or thought provoking or deep it should be cheesy and fun. The Barbie movie that Cannon Films was going to make in the 80s would’ve been a lot better and I wish we got that Barbie movie instead. Greta Gerwig didn’t understand what made Barbie an iconic doll
1. The Mario movie isn't good it has terrible pacing and underdeveloped characters. 2. The Barbie movie opened higher than Mario and is on track to make more or the same amount as that movie.
The Mario movie was far more faithful to the source material, with zero politics thrown in the viewers face. Mario and Luigi were good characters, their family bond winning out in the end, Peach being similar to her appearance in Nintendo Power magazine and Bowser was the star of the show. Just because a movie makes a lot of money does not mean it is good. Barbie is feminist propaganda, the oh so stereotypical “women good, men bad” while the Mario movie celebrates the franchise unlike whatever Barbie is.

@@theunknowncommenter725 Respectfully, you're gonna need to dig deeper. Gnosticism is the discovery that you are your own god, a truth that has been kept from you by Yahweh the biblical God, through some kind of gnosis. The audience experiences the film through the the protagonist; therefore, rule-abiding Emmet learns to become a rule-rearranging master-builder. He becomes, for all intents and purposes, a god among the other master-builder gods with Übermensch ability. This is definitive gnostic enlightenment.. The LEGO movie goes a step further and teaches you that Yahweh, represented by Will Ferrell's The Man Upstairs, is a control freak who needs to let chaos into his ordered world because his son is oppressed. This is to be expected given that some of the key influences behind the film are kabbalists, ie satanists. Barbie follows the same gnostic enlightenment storyline that gives you a father-figure or God-like character who is cold, controlling and out of touch with his own creation, be it the Matrix (The Architect), Jurassic Park (John Hammond), Pleasantville (Big Bog), Truman Show (Christof), Iron Man (Obadiah Stane), et al. Barbie literally offers homage to 2001: A Space Odyssey, perhaps the most archetypal gnostic film ever, as its opening...even the blind can see it. When Hollywood and the music industry throw up all the mudras and enlightenment symbols, they are rubbing it hard in your face that they got their money, position and influence through their adherence to luciferian doctrine. It's also why they are obsessed Crowley. And who would have expected any of this, given that they named the Hollywood after the 'holy wood' in Nemi. Hollywood never respected you - it always wanted you to become a narcissistic hedonism trapped in feeding your own sensuality. It's only recently that they felt so emboldened as to tell you they also want you dead.

Strong whamen weak men message
"My name is Barbie, queen of queens. Look on my works Ye Mighty and despair."

What did you expect?
A Barbie movie shouldn’t be political or thought provoking or deep it should be cheesy and fun. The Barbie movie that Cannon Films was going to make in the 80s would’ve been a lot better and I wish we got that Barbie movie instead. Greta Gerwig didn’t understand what made Barbie an iconic doll
Looks like Mario has gotten it right.
Especially peach.
Barbie is feminist propaganda, the oh so stereotypical “women good, men bad”
while the Mario movie celebrates the franchise unlike whatever Barbie is.
So sad that no one in Hollywoke seems to know how to entertain any longer. Sad.

I really dont get it why women complains of not dating men. Seriously, pick a lane, cant have both.

I don’t understand why they couldn’t just remake the Lego movie with barbie?
At random points in the film an army of GI Joes come in and fuck everything up and then leave, as the brother character adds his toys in when sister is away.
Lego and Barbie are both gnostic films.
This concept could have been so much fun. Ugh, such wasted potential 😩
@@MichaelWilliams-eq4kt not really.
Both Barbie and Lego treat us, the players or humans, as their God, like the little green men in Toy Story, which I think is pretty fair to say. They are the little people who look up to us.
Difference between Lego and Barbie, is that Barbie actively hates the audience, whereas LEGO does not.
I thought this was gonna be like Enchanted after seeing the trailers. Had it turned out like that, it could've appealed to women and men alike and grossed 1 1/2 billion.

The part “thoughts and prayers” makes it sound like there’s something wrong with the movie, but there isn’t. If kids doesn’t find it entertaining it’s not the movies fault because they’re not the targeted audience after all

I thought at the end there would be this kinda feel good message about how the barbies and kens learned something from everything that went down in barbieland during the movie. That the barbies would learn to respect the kens more and they could both coexist more equally. But no, the writers couldn't help themselves and instead the movie ends with the kens being back as totally submissive with no voice in society. I've watched this movie just for my own reviews and it's one of THE WORST MOVIES I'VE EVER SEEN. and in doing more research, Ken is the actual hero of this movie, Short explanation:
*The Barbies have girls Night all the time and the Ken's weren't invited that's bad instead of trying to better themselves and society they Rather party all the time.
* When Ken was in charge he invited the Ken's and allow the other Barbie's to make their own choices and include everyone.
* And when The Barbies couldn't take back Barbie Land with Genuine and Fair Deplomacy they resort to Manipulation and Devisive tactics.
