- So, That was the last part of my TOP 8 Round against B-Art! Is THIS Allowed?

First of all: This is not going to be judged! I did it just for fun, like a little sketch at the end, saying: Yo! I'm gonna upgrade your IDEA. So, I can do it like this!
Secondly: Here is the reason why i decided to do it.
Judges liked the idea, when they saw Two B-art in the video vs Remix
And they were expecting something interesting about this idea, I thought, It would be huge experience for me to do something like this). And I would like to meet their expectation! So, It was just extra-fun thing to do.

It's a difficult decision in all fairness. This is really creative and very well constructed and executed. It's outside of the box and it's pushing beatbox further. If you were able to do this in one voice and not split parts then there's no reason for it to not be allowed, however, some parts do seem to have impossible features that I don't think would be replicated by just one human voice. It's a tough decision, but there's an argument for both sides.

Honestly of everything in the competition so far, I like this flow the best. I can (and have been) listening to this on repeat for hours at a time. There have been some nice beats and drops all across the competition, but this track oozes swag. I can bop and bounce to this perpetually

Of course now they will maybe change the rules, it has happened even in the NBA. And when someone single handedly provokes a rule change, it shows creativity, standing out, remarkability! It explores a hole in the rules and for that reason, it can't be punished!

I'm a huge fan of a lot of the beatboxers in bbu right now, but both you and Den seem like the final bosses for anyone who comes across you two. So in my opinion if the rules aren't clear they, sxin and chezame, shouldn't be able to punish you else they are just removing one of the best participants because they didn't state the rules clearly
It’s a fun idea, I kind of wish competitors had more freedom to bring other things musically, just has to be clear what the rules are and what’s being judged. I think it would be fun to have unlimited music possibilities but where solo beatboxing was the only aspect that was judged, maybe for another kind of competition.
Now I’m kind of curious how this will affect the competition if there’s a precedent that you can sort of break the rules for fun and it just doesn’t get judged as part of the routine. Just a bit confusing cause the exact boundaries in this competition aren’t always 100% clear. But it’s good for getting more people to comment to boost the videos in the algorithm I guess.

technically, i don't remember anything in the rules saying you can't do this. you can even edit in sounds/autotune/heavily mix your beatbox, so who's to say you can't do a tag team with yourself?
but, because all the beatbox until now have been solo only it is maybe a little bit unfair (because other participants would probably assume they can't do this). but overall sick stuff dropical, it def surprised me!
i mean this is just a base rule,its not directly in the rules cause it doesnt need to be in the rules.its not something that could be unfair but not everyone knows,this should be just a normal fact that everyone is aware of,overlapping beats is just not right,makes it sound good but its literally not possible to do,meaning its not even beatbox anymore.i mean no hate i think dropical is a great artist but i just think this "its not in the rules,it doesnt count" point shouldnt be used as an arguement,its like saying "they never said i could drop out so i cant do that"

but yeah the tag team part is not being judged anyways so it's not big deal in the end

Its a break in the rules in my opinion. The closest rule to this is to not do anything that sounds like you a beatboxer couldnt do that and i think this is one of those cases its solo, if they allow this for dropical everyone is gonna get OP tag teaming with themselves, even better than dropical maybe
yeh my take was c+s wanted the 2 b-arts to battle each other, ie alternate, not at the same time. hope it is allowed though as I wouldnt want you to go out on a technicality and your round really was off the chain

it´s sick but it must not be allowed, in my opinion is kind of cheating. It´s a solo beatbox competition, not tag team. Besides that, let me repeat this is sick🙌
(edit: also, C&S clarify in their BBU announcment video (min 9:36) that it must be possible to do the routine in real life. If you don´t have a loopstation, this is impossible to do in solo)
B-arts round is also impossible to preform live as some of the sounds are mixed so much that a human mouth can't replicate them
@@beardo3701 It´s possible to perform live but with lower quality. They would be sounds that would sound lower or higher and the timning wouldn´t be perfect always but the routine would still be "beatboxable". Autotune, metronome, copy paste sounds (of his own) were approved in the rules

Even if it's not allowed, I don't think it should be disqualified. If it's allowed, amazing. If not, just judge the round up to that part and completely ignore it from the judging, as it's only at the end.

Haha definitely not. I hope they cut till this point for the judging. I have to say tho that B-Art second half is almost not possible to recreate live switching between sounds as if he was playing a sampler. So i loved both rounds but compared to all other bbu round these 2 are stretching the format the most imo.
I had to take a day to review everything but in my honest opinion if they disqualified you over this I’d argue it considering 70% of B-art’s routine is impossible you can physically hear the audio cuts with the liprolls and the amount of effects on his geeez
