Most exciting part of the whole show. I also like the hula dancers from Hawaii. All of the dancers in the show are so proud of their cultures. Love it! ❤
Wana be like this guy one day. I love performing and recently starting practicing fire knife dance 2 months ago. Always come back to this video for motivation.
I loved it when it comes to fire knife dance Hawaiian or Samoans I enjoy watching it ,but if only I was close to the islands wouldn't mind seeing it up close actually sitting front roll or watching it anywhere from where all the audience are sitting at ...love and proud to be an islander tho ...👍👍👍
this was the best act i think???? but i LOVED IT!!! i'm still learning fire knife dancing, it's not hard but i'm not up to spinning it with fire just the stick
Actually science without us even knowing what it was. If you light a lighter there is less heat much closer to the flame (blue flame) than it is around it. Samoans accustomed to the cultural culinary way of cooking with earth ovens, we can take the heat.
I haven't tried this yet lol... But apparently, the key is to go in from perfectly underneath. Because hot air rises, the bottom of the fire is (relatively) cool. Notice that he does it at the start of the performance, before the wicks heat up.
pocahontasfan1816 thank you! They were pretty good, except I wish we had been more towards the center. But yeah, we were right in front on the right side of the stage. This is at the Polynesian Resort at WDW, during their Spirit of Aloha dinner show. I have more videos to edit and upload from the show when I have the time (: Tune in again!
I actually don't think he's samoan, not saying he has to be, just wanted to point that out, in case people thought he was, but what an awesome fire knife dancer, and he's not bad in the eyes either, lol.
There is a lot of differences in his style of dancing and technique and Poland one. Here performer is static, while we prefere moving through whole stage. Instead of this he maximize speed. Also front shield technique is different. Staff is so short, he can just do series of little, weak throws and boost speed by putting hand just for a half of sec, while Polish spinners do rather isolations and choose movement, instead of speed. Thanks god he didn't make any mistakes, those kids are adorable ;] Anyway nice one.
+Etu Nuu I call it just by how i see it. And how i see it is determined by my culture. I don't see anything wrong by comparing those, because it brings lots of education. Don't you see? I wouldn't know about Samoans war dance without starting this conversation. Thank you for interesting info :)

+Grupa Karmazyn Thank you for your comment, but I'm a little confused -- Poland?
+The Disney Freak's Blog
Yeah, i compare styles from mid-Europe, and Polynesian :)
+Grupa Karmazyn Haha oh, okay. I was really confused there.

II ItsYaBoiTua II. when!!!
drumming sucked but the fire knife was top notch
Thanks for watching!
I know I'm late to reply to this but the drumming sucked? This is how polynesian drumming was. Disrespect this culture then I'm pissed my guy.
@@itskeona2220 I don't think he's saying the culture of the drumming.. I think he meant whoever was doing the drums..
waaaaaaaas
Yummy guy
Only a Polynesian will tell you that his not Samoan at all, great fire dance though
I know he look biracial! Blk/ white!
His dad is actually Samoan..so yeah..but he does look like he may have some Black and White in him aswell
What a dead audience.
