We don't like immigration agents - the ones' that aren't authorized by ICCRC and qualified to help you with your application in exchange for money - first of all, it's not legal to do that, and second of all, it's so easy that you don't really need paid help! We are a young couple who started their Canadian Immigration journey in 2018 and moved to Canada 3 days before the pandemic hit in March 2020. Over the course of our application, we have seen so many people getting screwed over by greedy / fraudulent and unauthorized immigration consultants who promise you the world in exchange for thousands of dollars and deliver a whole lot of NOTHING; to an extent that in many cases, the applications get rejected, due to their negligence.
Therefore, we are taking matters in our own hands. After months of research and our own experience of applying for a Canadian PR, we came up with an e-book series & this RUclips channel which would include - errors to avoid, perfect sample documents (my own) and alternate ways of immigrating to Canada - 100 pages of absolute goldmine between these 3 e-books - no filters, no premium versions to these ebooks... everything is out there FOR FREE, for you to read and execute the process yourself! All we are doing in these ebooks is sharing our experience of applying for PR ourselves / structuring and pointing you in the right direction via various different resources that are available on IRCC's official website. The RUclips channel will compliment the e-book and add some personality and entertainment to the entire process :-)
Volume 1: Step by step express entry process from know nothing about immigration all the way to getting an invitation to apply (ECA, IELTS etc). Download here - www.potatotalk...
Volume 2: Post ITA express entry process - documentation, samples, POF, Proof of work, medical, biometrics all the way to getting a stamped passport ;-) Download here - www.potatotalk...
Volume 3: Alternate ways of moving to canada | Provincial Nominee program - OINP, AINP, MPNP, NSNP, SINP, RNIP and more. Download here - www.potatotalk...

Your video is 4 years old and there have been a number of videos made in the meantime by various RUclipsrs, BUT, this is, by far the best documentation and presentation on this topic. This is the difference between educated content creators like you and "just to make money" kind of RUclipsrs. Good job @potatotalkies. God bless you.

So I have a Indian Debit Card now with International Usage on ...my Bank Says you can take it to Canada and Use it there directly in
    1.ATM to withdraw Canadian Cash
2.Swipe in any restaurant, shop, etc.
3.Purchase anything In Online there .
Is it a Good Option as Bank says they will charge 3.5 % of the transaction conversation + GST 18% ... ...
Is it a Good option to Use Money ...as this transaction charges will be always taken whenever there is a purchase or withdrawal ...is it good option ?
Should I use Credit Card instead which has less transaction charges ....say 2% ....

I know it's 2 years since this video has been released and maybe a little outdated, but I'm wondering if anyone noticed that the wire transfer fees in INR is the exact amount in CAD that is required for Proof of funds 😁. Thank you Simran and Navjot for this insightful info, while the rate might be outdated, the idea/concept/way of thinking will remain the same. This has really given me insight on how I want to move my money to Canada. Cheers

Canada works much like the rest of the world and you won't get a push to your credit score if you dont use a credit card / or other form of credit line. The credit score is a flat 618 for new immigrants.

      1. It was smooth except I made a mistake in my address when I opened the account and it didn't fully match my passport... It led to 3-4 days of delay. So make sure to not make that mistake... Else everything is fine.
      2. Yes, they offered free of charge. Will upload a video soon :)

    Hi,
Thanks a lot for the video :)
In today's pandemic time what would you suggest is the best way to transfer/carry money from India to Canada (for a family of three) considering 14 days quarantine ?
Thanks once again for the informative video.

I would suggest you the same thing as we did in this video. But due to Pandemic you might not be able to get your bank account done so I would suggest you to carry your credit cards/ forex cards so you can easily order everything during your quarantine

You'll spoke about the startright program by Scotia Bank for transferring the money from India before moving, did you'll have to convert your savings accounts here into NRO accounts before moving funds? Thanks in advance:)

@Potato Talkies Is it possible to transfer funds to a Canadian bank account to show as proof of funds when you are applying to OINP/Express Entry.
Is there any advantage to doing that?

      @Potatotalkies  4 года назад +3

      Thanks :)
You can make 1 transaction when you open the international account. Once you reach Canada and activate it, then you can make as many transactions as you want
