How do you get the chalk residue off that you don't want without removing the final writing?

Andrew Smith I recommend using a SUPER dry microfiber towel or paper towel to buff it off. If it’s even the slightest bit wet everything will smear! I also use a Q-tip for fine clean ups. Hope that helps!

Hi! I'm interested in making a seating chart, but I wanted to do mine by their last name in alphabetical order. Is this possible?

I would think your hand would erase the chalk as your moving across the board writing the names? .

It actually stayed on pretty well... I did small name sections at a time specifically so I wouldn't be dragging my hands across the board too much :)

I try to be really mindful of my hand placement to smudge as little as possible, but the chalk is surprisingly resilient!
