    This is super useful! I'm making a sword and it has raised pieces rather than cracks. I think it'll still work though, just having those highlighted rather than darkened

    Question: Do you put a clear coat over the weathering or do you leave it as is after it dries? I’m concerned with the weathering coming off after I paint it

      Jenny Gymnastics usually weathering is in creases and such, so unless you're digging in there with a tooth pick or something, then I dont see it coming out. And usually the watered down acrylic is so thin it really blends in with your paint, and becomes like one layer

    Hi. This is exactly what I've been looking for!! I have a full set of armour that has gold as a base What is the ratio of water to paint for the wash?

    Hi, do you seal the gold paint underneath before adding the weathering? cheers :)

      I don't, because it's an oil-based spray paint so it doesn't rub off.
