I have Ezone 100sl, then I played a few min with pro staff team and I loved the feel more than ezone, I am a low intermediate, so not sure if this is normal or just I need to use to Ezone, thinking to buy this ultra light?

Another player that may like this racquet could be Harry Tong. He lead tapes the hell out of his racquets anyway.
But seriously, the UL versions are usually also the least expensive versions. So one could save some money by getting the UL and then give it the Harry Tong treatment (lead, lead, lead!).

Well for me it makes a lot of sense. I think that 100inches rackets are not well manoeuvrable for all. 97 frames deserve as well low weight versions and the pro staff is one of the best frames in the world. So you start from there and can accelerate arm a lot, then adjust the specs and you get a pretty good result. Thicker beam, open string pattern a bit more….It is a good choice for many players and I think 100 inches are overrated.

    Why? Two Reasons:
    1) Yes, the very light stock spec allows less physically strong players to use it, mostly as-is.
    2) More interestingly, though, the 97UL is a great PLATFORM RACQUET (essentially like a pro stock layup) -- meaning that it's far enough under weight that you have a massive customization window to reach basically any strung spec you're looking for (static weight, balance and swing weight), along with recoil weight and MGR/i.
In the case of the Pro Staff 97 series, a spec'd up 97UL that has the same static weight, balance and swing weigh of a regular PS97 will get you a stick that's arguably just as precise, but also more effortlessly powerful due to the slightly stiffer flex and wider 23.5mm beam. A potentially great solution for a mature player who likes the PS97, but wants something with higher power-to-weight ratio to more easily keep up with heavy baseline-to-baseline exchanges.
P.S. If either recoil weight or MGR/i are a mystery to you, then I highly suggest you educate yourself on the performance implications of both. A great place to starting learning is Impacting Tennis:
