    Demo Notes:
In this demo we will be pouring and painting Alla Prima or all at once with lifting and micro splatters.
If you choose to paint along here are the steps:
    1) Wet the paper - wet the background paper all around the subject, not touching the pencil lines. Then pour puddles of light value colors and allow to sit on the paper a minute or so. At this point you can begin to use your angle shader brush to carve the background up to your penciled area, allow some overlap and areas where the background blends onto the foreground. Using SMOOTH MIXERS for beginning layers and glazes. While the background is beginning to dry you can add some micro splatters to enhance any areas of color that need a little punch of color.
SMOOTH MIXERS: Hansa Yellow Light, Quinacridone Sienna, Quinacridone Red, Quinacridone Magenta, Pthalo Turquoise, Pthalo Blue Red Shade
    2) Begin to paint a middle value : paint loose brush strokes blocking in color, shaping the roses petals and leaves, allow these colors to blend out into the background in areas by painting all the way up to the pencil line.
    3) All at once finishing touches: Find your calm and begin to balance your painting. Are your colors balancing? Value? Details? At this stage use a dark value to cut in some hard shadows and value. This is a great stage to add those GRANULATING COLORS!
GRANULATING COLORS: Raw Sienna Light, Rose of Ultramarine, Prussian Green, French Ultramarine
    4) Using Fern Stencil we can add balancing highlights by lifting with a toothbrush, add balancing values with negative painting, and soften any hard areas by sweeping over with an angle shader brush. In this final step you can add a few expressive strokes of shadows or color to add some pop!
