Thank you so much! I design my own stencils from my photography using Photoshop, then cut it out using a Cricut or tiny scissors - so this is a custom design.

I recently joined after seeing you with Angela Fehr. I absolutely love painting by dropping my pigments into water already on my paper. I’ve done that for some time. But you have taken this to a new level and I’m thrilled! My stencils have been ordered, little bowls for my pigments and I already have the pipets etc. I’m so excited to experiment more! Love it!

The reference photo was taken on a hike at one of my father's favorite places, Whitewater Preserve in California. I painted this in a way to reflect my feelings that day, wondering if he had also noticed that busted old tree in his years exploring there. A place I go when missing him. 💛

Thank you so much! yes yes yes I NEED to stop pronouncing it with the short E and say it with the long eeeeee but even with many sweet reminders I continue to default to saying it incorrectly, soooooooo hard to break habits sometimes 😂🤗 - being self taught this comes up a lot, most of my learning came by way of books, so often when I take a class or watch a video I get those ah-ha moments 🤗 - thank you for stopping by and taking the time to comment

Just found you! love it! you are only the second lefty I have found demonstrating /teaching art on you-tube. it makes a huge difference for sure; I find I am always working opposite directions to right handed people- their natural stroke is left to right, and mine is from right to left. love how you made this look easy to do...and the stencil for rubbing out instead of putting in- marvellous idea. Bravura in deed- the tree looks great! Very wonderful painting to honour your father .

Awesome! I’ve only just stumbled over your channel today. Reminds me of my favourite artist when she was painting her Scottish highland scenes, Gillian McDonald. I spent the second half of your demonstration pleading for you to see the valley that appears should you spy and develop the two red-roofed houses left and right, with their white walls; leaving the blue-grey misty valley dead centre behind the tree… ❤❤❤

Would you ever at some point do a cling-wrap painting? I have tried it on several occasions and it was hit and miss!! Ann Blockley in her Experimental Landscapes uses a variety of materials to incorporate into her backgrounds, wonderful mark-makings that she turns into foliage and other wild flora.

Thank you for your interest in the stencils. I design and hand cut my own stencils with small scissors or use a Cricut Machine to cut out the more intricate designs. Here is a one minute video sharing how I use the Cricut to cut them. ruclips.net/user/shortsfXr3RB6odWI
Many of the products I use to make my own stencils as well as some favorite pre made stencils are listed for your shopping convenience on my Amazon Affiliate Art Page, by purchasing through this link I receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. : www.amazon.com/shop/watercolorpour/list/SSEMGEBCOJUL
Due to the large number of questions regarding my stencils this is an automated response, if you have additional questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Beautiful technique. I need to try it. I love loose! Have noticed the last year or more that art supply prices have gone up and even more so on Amazon. I buy from Dick Blick, Jerry’s Artarama and Cheap Joes Art stuff . Their minimum order for free shipping has almost doubled recently. I’ve stopped buying art supplies from Amazon because I’ve received damaged brushes and paints and the prices are higher than the 3 shops I mentioned.

Thank you for the incredible work and presentation. After watching your video, I'm interested in purchasing the brush you showcased (king art max round). Could you please let me know the specific size of the brush you used? Thanks.
